For vegan options please include more beans, nuts and pulses for protein. Vegan cheese contains very little protein. Please have water refill stations instead of supplying water in plastic bottles.

It's OK, but about as far from Portugal as you can get, the only thing Portuguese about it is the charming staff. The build quality and hotel infrastructure I can't fault, definitely 4-5* standard. Nice room, quality bathroom fittings. The food is adequate international buffet.

They really need to improve the coffee. It's terrible compared to a 60-70 cent café in the rest of the country and switching off the coffee machine in the restaurant at dinner time is just mean and unreasonable. It's more pensioners only than adults only, place is dead after 11pm, which is just weird for Portugal. Needs to enter the 21st century too - limit of 3 wifi devices per room - as a couple we have 7 between us :-)
