Didn’t have vehicle ready for us. Needed car to drive three hours away to catch flight. Finally Got vehicle and went home to get kids and saw they didn’t install the car seats we rented like originally stated so had to go all the way back to get them. Ended up late for flight to where they almost didn’t let us board and didn’t get to fill tank due to the time because of them so charging me once again to fill the tank. They never contacted us to tell us they were closed due to snow. As a result we drove all the way down to the pick up location and no one was there. No one would answer the phone. There were other customers standing outside in the snow with there bags and no place to go. It was really sad.Bewertet am 28. Dez. 2022

I reserved and paid for a SUV and received a tiny version of an SUV, very small rental for a very expensive price, horrible customer service, if you ever want to reach the rental location, it takes you to customer service in Mexico, horrible experience, will not re-use nor recommend AVIS. I was misinformed by the representative of Avis on the process and timing of charges. Was advised that only $200 would be charged to my cc upon pickup of the vehicle, and then the balance due could be paid upon drop off. However, the entire cost of the rental PLUS the $200 deposit was charged immediately to my card right after we picked up the car. Which caused an unfortunate chain of events. The car was not available. No car was available. Our rental reservation was not honored. I missed work and an interview. This cost me insurmountable amount of time money and embarrassment. I like the car and the service, Customer service was fast and car replay for pick up. Perfect timing. I took the car trough Kayak and offer of $103 unlimited mileage and end up being charge by Avis $212.01 no explanation of the change in price and charge, I did not like this, and I'll never get a car with Avis never again.Bewertet am 4.
