Positiv:: Wir hatten ein Sup.-Zimmer Nr. 215, der Größe wegen, dieses sollte man auch haben, wenn obwohl größer als Standardzimmer war die Größe gerade mal ausreichend, das Bad winzig, Zimmer standardmäßig praktisch gestaltet, nichts aussergewöhnliches, Doppelbett mit einer durchgehenden Bettdecke, (eher nachteilig), das Zimmer war sauber, Kaffee-Tee-Wasserkocher vorhanden, Zimmer etwas laut, da zur Hauptstraße hin gelegen, großes rundes Fenster zum Öffnen, Parken konnte man gratis in der Hotelgarage. 2 deutsche TV-Programme

Negativ:: Obwohl das Frühstück reichhaltig und sehr gut war, negativ war die Automaten-Kaffee-Zubereitung. Wie immer aus dem Automat - der Kaffee schmeckt nicht !!!! Aber das war der einzige Negativpunkt !!!

Positiv:: We had a difficult drive through Portugal but found this hotel a fantastic place! We arrived late but fortunately they have a 24hr cafe next door which we could eat a basic meal - but it was really needed! The hotel is immaculate and very very comfy. Breakfast was very good with great coffee!

Negativ:: Couldn't really find anything wrong with this place. Concierge was very helpful as she spoke english and we had van trouble and so were very late to arrive.

Positiv:: Ich war ernsthaft erstaunt. 4 Sterne an der Autobahn? Ja, das Konzept geht auf. Die Zimmer sind erstaunlich ruhig und geräumig. Modern eingerichtet und funktional. Preis geht absolut in Ordnung. Parkplatz war sogar überdacht. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Würde in jedem Fall wieder hier übernachten.

Negativ:: Nur an der Rezeption wird Englisch gesprochen, aber gut. Frühstück war sehr süß-lastig aber alles vorhanden.

Positiv:: The Hotel is VERY easy to get to and parking is plentiful. The Reception area is light, bright and welcoming. Reception Staff were cheerful, professional and spoke many languages. Check-in was fast and well explained. There is no need to remember Internet passwords as this is available freely throughout the Hotel. Cleanliness of all areas was meticulous and Public Areas (as well as the decent sized bedrooms) were spotless. There are great facilities including a Restaurant, a Cafeteria/Bar, outdoor sitting area and another (more relaxed and publicly available) cafe which served those stopping for fuel in the attached Service Area. There is also a well-equipped shop attached to the Fuel stop. All the staff in these areas were cheerful and helpful.

Negativ:: So after explaining about all the facilities this Hotel has...why could I not award it top marks? As reviewers have said before, despite being so close to the Motorway, you cannot hear ANY road noise. However, due to a penchant for 'Laminate Flooring' the same cannot be said about noise levels from within! Particularly guests arriving/departing who like to have animated conversations in the areas outside the bedrooms. The Maid-Service started fairly early and provided an entertaining 'Tap Dancing' session for those in the rooms above and below. All furniture appeared to be dragged/scraped from one side of a room to the other...and then, eventually, returned to its original position! There was no literature about the Hotel or its facilities (Room Service etc.?) anywhere in the room and most surprising of all, there were NO toiletries whatsoever. As we had arrived for a single night stop, we brought no soap/shampoo etc. with us, expecting it to be provided. When we spoke to Reception, he was very apologetic and then asked us to "pop down" and get them from the front desk! We suggested that they might like to "pop up with them"...and the stand-off was prevented! The Mini-Bar in the room was a bit of a joke as it ran warm, was completely empty (except for a half-drunk bottle of water) and 'promised' to provide numerous 'delicacies' at greatly inflated prices! There was nothing...repeat...nothing! SO...a game of two-halves really! With the facilities and the great public areas...this Hotel should be a sure fire winner. More attention to detail within the rooms would cement the deal!

Das AC Hotel Badajoz liegt nahe dem IFEBA Exhibition Centre und dem Universitätsgelände in einem modernen und unterhaltsamen Viertel der Stadt mit zahlreichen Pubs, Restaurants, Kinos und dem größten Einkaufszentrum. Hervorragende Lage und einfacher Zugang von der Hauptverkehrsstraße

Negativ:: The room I shared with my partner had a french bed, not a queen bed (as they told me in the reception). In fact, it was the same size of the one of my colleagues who share a two double beds room. So, the stay was not comfortable. I asked to change the room at the reception, but they said that it would cost more. Moreover, all courtesy kit was for one person and not two. Moreover, the hotel tried to take the money from the credit card I did the reservation before the checkout, although I had explained before (two times via message and email) that we needed several invoices and that each one was going to pay by him/herself. Even if this was not clear, I don't find it so proper for a 4-star hotel to take the money from the credit card before the check-out, without even informing the client.

Positiv:: The room is large and has a large balcony (although the view is to inside of the hotel). The WC is also large and very well equipped (although the dark green wall colors are awful). The hotel serves a good international buffer breakfast. There is plenty of free parking space in the streets near the hotel.

Negativ:: The wifi is really bad (very very slow). I don't think the AC in our room was working. The safe is too small (could not fit my 14" laptop). The sound insulation is not great, we could hear the sounds outside the room very loudly. Plus, the room's door was very difficult to close, so we would have to push/pull it really hard, which would make a loud noise; we could hear the same noise from other rooms, so it seems to be a general problem. On a more positive note, we could not hear any sound from the rooms next to (nor above) ours, so that's good. We requested a double bed, but ended up with twin beds. We asked them if it was possible to change that and they said the hotel was full (fair enough), so they made the bed with double bed sheets, which helped a bit.

The Localization is a bit far from the city center but on the other hand it has beautiful nature on the surroundings and it is quiet, relaxing and far away from all the traffic and city noise. We really loved to swim in the outside pool and stay outside.

Negativ:: We hoped it had breakfast included. We payed for the breakfast but we still thought it was overpriced for what was offered. We suggest you have more and better options for the same price or lower the price.

Negativ:: It is a very basic hotel but that is reflected in the price and its two-star rating. I wish I had spent a bit more money and found a hotel that wasn't quite so like a youth hostel, but it would suit budget travellers. Like most hotels in Spain (even the 5-star ones) there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room. The car park was a very tight squeeze for our large Volvo and I was very grateful that my husband did the parking!

Die Einnahme einer Mahlzeit war nur in Winterbekleidung erträglich. Auf die Frage nach Beheizung wurde gesagt: "Wir sind in der Extremadura, das bedeutet, es ist hier entweder Kalt oder Heiss". Das im Preis eingeschlossene Frühstück war erbärmlich.

Positiv:: Only stayed one night when passing through. 500 meters down towards the center of Badajoz were many restaurants and at the hotel there was a restaurant with outside tables where I had a decent breakfast, which was very convenient for me since I was travelling with a dog. The apartment was big, with aircon and easy parking in the garage below the hotel. Nothing to complain about really.

Negativ:: Perrsonal an der Rezeption sprach wenig englisch, z.B. konnte man uns nicht beschreiben wo der Frühstücksraum ist. Ging nur mit "Gebärdensrache" sollzte in einem 3 * Hotel nicht so sein Gebühr für unserer Hund 20 € pro Tag als unverschämt überhöht empfunden. Er betrug hier 1/3 des Zimmerpreises. Dann sollte man lieber schreiben Haustiere nicht erlaubt Leider weiß man bei Booking nie wie hoch die Gebühren für Haustiere sind. In der Regel sind diese angemessen. Man kann diese auch nicht vor der Buchung erfragen. Bei Unterkünften die nicht stornierbar sind, immer eine Lotteriespiel. Es wäre hilfreich die Kosten würden immer mit angegeben, dann gibt es auch keine bösen Überraschungen wie in diesem Hotel. Wir bekamen zwar eine Mail zu den Gebühren, aber erst 6 Std. vor der Anreise. War dann auch nicht mehr hilfreich, da die Buchungen wohl grundsätzlich nicht stornierbar sind
