Positiv:: Geheimtipp für Cascais. Prima Lage, viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe, zum Strand läuft man 4 Minuten. Liebevolle Ausstattung und tolles Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal!! Wir waren das 2.Mal dort und wieder begeistert. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Positiv:: Excellent customer services. Wonderfully designed and kept interiors - both the suites and the common areas. The pool, the spa facilities and restaurants were all outstanding.

Negativ:: Hotel needs updating as furnishings in rooms very tired. Very expensive to eat and drink there. The pool area has so many umbrellas which are massve in a small area so you keep having to move around as you get staded by other people's umbrellas. No consideration for those who enjoy the sun.

Positiv:: A unique luxury hotel. Beautiful ocean view from the terrace on the sixth floor (water and cookies available in the afternoons), from same rooms and from the great outdoor pool. Room very large and comfortable. A large bottle of water is available each day of the stay. Breakfast varied and healthy. Champagne, fresh fruit, tasty pastries and regional products available at breakfast. Service extremely nice, friendly, helpful and very communicative. Coffee and tea with real cinnamon available in the room. Goodnight chocolates delivered in the evenings. Towels changed twice a day. Large and pleasant indoor pools, especially with salt water. Outdoor pool very large, although the water is rather cool. Beautiful lobby. Very nice TV room with a bookcase. Wonderful flowers everywhere and cozy alleys to rest. Beautiful interior furnishings. Great scenic elevators. Wonderful breakfast service. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace with a beautiful ocean view. An employee serving coffee to tables extremely nice and professional. A welcome drink with snacks - very successful. Goodbye wine with cookies also. The highest level, unforgettable memories, worth in every respect.

Negativ:: Nothing. Alternatively, the opening hours of the indoor pools could be extended to nine in the evening. It is a pity that the hotel has no bikes for guests.

Positiv:: The buffet restaurant was fantastic in terms of quality of food and value. The local restaurants are very expensive and the food offer is average. The pools and use of the Holmes Place gym were first class and spotlessly clean. All the staff go out of their way to help.

Negativ:: Nothing.

Negativ:: absolut ein Unding war, dass auf dem Nachbargrundstück per Hammer und Bohrhammer drei offensichtlich alte Gebäude abgerissen wurden. Baubeginn : morgens 08:00 Uhr mit Ende 16:30 Uhr. Wir waren gezwungen das Hotelzimmer zu wechseln, was sehr gut geklappt hat. Nach Aussage Hotelleitung waren sie nicht über diese Bauarbeiten informiert worden.

Positiv:: Perfekte Lage, optimale Ausstattung und sehr nette Gastgeberin

Positiv:: Die Gastgeberin Laura ist supernett und hat die Unterkunft wirklich traumhaft eingerichtet. Die Aussicht aufs Wasser ist genauso fantastisch wie der Weg dorthin. Es war alles sehr laid-back. Wem selbst Cascais zu trubelig ist, der ist hier richtig.

Negativ:: Vielleicht ein etwas variantenreicheres Frühstück wäre schön gewesen.

Positiv:: Schlafzimmer an der Meerseite. Bei offener Terrassentür könnte man sehr gut schlafen. Das Meer war zu hören.

Negativ:: Bett war etwas unbequem

Positiv:: The beautiful location, stylish interior and warm, friendly atmosphere. Our caring hostess and staff attended to every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed meeting other guests from a range of countries.

Positiv:: This hostel is picture perfect. The vibe is awesome, everyone staying here was so friendly and sociable so it would be a great place for single travellers to make friends. Laura, the owner, is incredibly friendly and generous, and really wants you to have an awesome stay. The volunteers were also super helpful and nice. Thank you for an awesome stay - hopefully nos vemos pronto! ;)

Negativ:: The only thing I didn't like is that you can't cook before 1pm, so if you're used to making breakfast eggs while you're staying you'll have to choose other things to eat.

Positiv:: *great location, next to the forrest, walking distance to the Guincho beach *great range of activities offered by the hostel *good facilities, you can easily rinse & dry your wetstuit

Positiv:: Breakfast was great; yoghurt, fruit, cereals, milk, bread, butter, jam, etc. No meat or cheese, but you can get all these things from local markets that are close-by (one across the street, another at about 15min by foot). I loved the staff. Laura and Valentina are a great time; very welcoming, warm, and fun to be around. They were also helpful in driving me around to activities, booking the taxi to the airport, and other short trips I needed to make. The activities there are also a great bonus. I only tried surfing, but there is yoga (studio in the house!), rock climbing, wind surfing, etc. Definitely something to do every day and for every taste. The beach is not next to the house (about 20 minutes walk), but I enjoyed this. It's a nice walk through the woods, and a nice meditation on your way to the beach. The view from the balcony is also a big plus; you get to enjoy the mountain and the beach at the same time. Great job, girls. Would definitely return.

Negativ:: The shower downstairs has a bit of a delay for hot water but it was not a big problem.

Positiv:: The house is perfectly situated for running in Sintra, reaching Lisbon and water for Kite, Wind surfing or just Surfing. The entire place is spotless. Laura and Valentina my hosts during the stay where super helpful. The place is really relaxed, tried Yoga for the first time. Wow that stuff is hard, but I like that its good. They also can arrange rock climbing and many other things. Nice breakfast too. Many thanks xx

Positiv:: Amazing experience!!! I was surprised as it wasn’t expensive and looked too good to be true online. The hotel is in the center of town and our room had a lovely little balcony we could sit on and drink wine and watch everyone walk by and enjoy the coffee shops and wine bars downstairs. The hotel staff were so friendly! They went out of their way to make a chai tea I wanted because they didn’t want me to have cold milk. I was so taken aback by the kindness and hospitality. Don’t hesitate to book - you won’t regret it and it’s an awesome and affordable way to experience cascais!

Positiv:: Perfect location in Old Town with restaurants and bars a plenty. Beach literally within 2 minutes walking distance to apartment. Staff in reception extremely friendly and breakfast was simple but perfect.

Negativ:: Fridge facilities would have made this accommodation perfect.

Positiv:: Charming family run large house with pool. Really relaxing and very comfortable. Attention to detail in every aspect. The breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.

Negativ:: Location not ideal, 10/15 minutes walk from centre of Cascais.

Positiv:: All round a high quality experience. Very comfortable accommodation with well trained and attentive staff. Great bedroom, excellent facilities, calm and relaxed atmosphere in a very upmarket, residential neighborhood. Generous, nourishing breakfast included. Best for mature couples with two or more nights to spend in Cascais.

Negativ:: It’s situated too far from the beachfront action and requires a taxi ride each way. You can walk the approximately two kilometers but it’s not interesting and there’s not much en route. That’s not a real disadvantage considering the high quality of the accomodation and the outstanding service of Uber, but bear that in mind. The bedroom is not equipped with tea and coffee making facilities or a bar fridge and the addition of these small comforts would be an advantage.

Positiv:: Being able to walk to downtown - less than half an hour. Quiet. Great amenities, including a pool area. We had a nice port wine tasting during happy hour.good

Positiv:: Beautiful house and lovely pool. Great place if you need a break from a day sightseeing, to come back to a beautiful garden and lay on the comfy sun beds at the pool. Breakfast options are good and tasty.

Negativ:: We arrived at 13h00 at the property and were welcomed by a lovely lady, who informed us that our room wasn't ready yet. We expected that, so we left our bagages at the reception, were given the key to the room and continued our day. About 6 hours later we can back to find our bagages still at the reception, it would have been nice gesture if they were brought to our room, but it was probably a misunderstanding at our end. We booked the Twin room, but I do not recommend it. It's not in the main house and you have the feeling of sleeping in a garden shed. We obviously booked this room knowing this, but it was still a bit of a disappointment especially for the price we paid (€183 a night). The room was small and felt a bit damp. The floor of the bathroom needs a re-do because you can see where people walked as it is discoloured. I won't say dirty because our room was cleaned daily, but it gives this impression. Especially to see the marks where people put their feet when sitting on the toilet is not very appealing... We've had 2 occasions when we turned on the shower a foul smell came out of the shower drain. Didn't report this because I saw it was reported by another guests on the internet, and assumed nothing would change anyway. One morning around 9am we were surprised by the music played on a big speaker next to our room. I'd advise to move the speaker, as not everyone might appreciate to have a speaker next to their room. Overall we didn't have a great experience and unfortunately won't come back. We didn't feel the warmth of a guesthouse. Upon check-out we were bringing some of our bagages to the car before doing the checkout as we had quite a few bagages, where the hostess came "running after us" saying that we still needed to check-out. We got the impression she thought we were leaving without checking out... Not a great feeling to leave with.

Positiv:: Die Ausstattung ist edel und elegant, vom Bad bis hin zum Tischgedeck. Die Betten sehr hochwertig. Garten und Pool haben lange Sonne. Tagsüber gibt es auf Bestellung feine Snacks. Die Pension hat verhältnismäßig wenige Zimmer und dem Anschein nach ruhige Stammgäste, dazu viel aufmerksames Personal. Frühstück top! Lobby sehr stilvoll, mit Billardtisch. Dreimal wöchentlich gibt es ein Dinnerangebot (von uns nicht genutzt da nur 4 Tage Aufenthalt). Fazit: Ideal zum Entspannen und Genießen.

Negativ:: Fast nichts, Fenster etwas undicht und je nach Zimmerlage hört man tagsüber den Verkehr.

Positiv:: Very relaxing environment. Good service . Clean . Good breakfast and food. Hosts do everything to make live comfortable .

Negativ:: Sometimes it ook some time to get thins done but this is probable that we are coming from hectic working environment where things have to be done immidiately. Pool could be heated with solar energy to make it possible to swim even in colder periods. Will be appreciated by several guest during our stay!

Positiv:: breakfast was good, although extra was charged for any coffee not out of coffee flask. It seems that the property wasnt quite as advertised...no free pick-ups from airport...no afternoon teas...no wine tasting or yacht trips available.

Positiv:: A real home from home. We stayed for 3 nights after travelling down from St Malo, France, to visit the Harley Davidson Rally in Cascais. So I was more than pleased when the guest house more than exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to park our motorbikes behind the security gates, which is always a bonus. We had a big comfortable room with big light bathroom. Breakfast was full of choice, and very well presented. What more could you say, everyone made our stay perfect.

Positiv:: Beautiful boutique hotel in an attractively presented villa. Lovely grounds and pool in a great location. Excellent service from management and staff who were always ready to assist. Lpved the small scale and quality of the hotel which has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

Positiv:: The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious, the hotel felt very homely. One day we sat by the pool which was really relaxing, lovely and quiet. We also went to the beach which wa dab out a 5-7 minute walk, the town is also very close. We would happily recommend to our friends and we can’t wait to return.

Negativ:: It was a little noisy when cars drove by the villa, however this is a very small complaint because everything else about this place was brilliant.

Positiv:: Die Lage ist ein Traum an der Bucht im Zentrum von Cascais, Tolle Villa mit grossen exclusiven Räumen in tollem Design. Kamin und Meerblick. Nur 9 Zimmer. Entgegen dem Design vor 10 Jahren sehr stark verbessert. Gutes Restaurant im Haus und viele Weitere in der Nähe. Tolle Bar und Billard vorhanden. Außen-Pool im Partnerhotel ist inclusive.

Negativ:: Ein wenig Abwechslung beim doch sehr guten Frühstück mit zusätzlich Ei wären noch besser.

Positiv:: Beautiful location in a beautiful building. Staff couldn’t do enough, food and drink standards were high. Great bathroom and awesome shower, and the products smell like a dream! Only small issue was having to use the pool of the sister property, didn’t make this clear when booking that this property has no pool. The pool at the sister hotel is very small and when busy feels very cramped.

Negativ:: Having to use the pool of the sister hotel which wasn’t as plush and the pool area was small and not as luxurious as the guesthouse.

Positiv:: Gute Lage, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer

Negativ:: Schlechtes Frühstück, man kann nicht bei gutem Wetter mit Gästen draußen auf der Terasse einen Tisch reservieren, langsame Bedienung

Positiv:: We stayed here for short break to attend a wedding. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient but also unobtrusive. The room and bathroom were spotless. Large and comfortable bed with all the amenities that you would expect. Beautiful sea view from our room (room 8) and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We didn’t use the pool at the sister hotel so I cannot comment on that. Breakfast was varied and delicious, especially when taken on the veranda in the sunshine. We have stayed in some much more expensive hotels recently and we enjoyed here far more.

Positiv:: The staff was extremely kind, the rooms were immaculate and the free breakfast was wonderful. We also made use of the pool at their sister hotel.

Positiv:: Location / quirky comfortable modern And tastefully decorated.

Positiv:: It was a super location. We were in 1 min at the beach, but also at the places that needed to be visited like the lighthouse, the Duke’s house etc. Plenty of really good restaurants around the corners and a wonderful walk to Estoril. We were even able to use the swimming pool from their other hotel close by, so don’t let it be that to stop you from staying at this one. Super yummy breakfast & food for the ones interested.

Negativ:: The parking was a challenge due to some town hall changes but we parked at the Largo da Estação

Negativ:: It is a beautiful old hotel, but due to the position of the bidet one could hardly sit on the toilet !!

Positiv:: The hotel is in a perfect location in Cascais surrounded by restaurants and bars with lovely views over the harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Negativ:: It is expensive to stay and probably not up to 5 stars. Tea and Coffee facilities are not in your room they are in the hallway - Tea bags only. Taxis booked via reception are by private limo and very expensive.

Positiv:: Quaint, clean/elegant and great location

Positiv:: We thought we had booked the Hotel Albatroz so the Villa and its location was a big disappointment. However the staff made us most welcome. The bed was most uncomfortable and the room not quite what we expected. However we did enjoy our stay.

Positiv:: Central location by the seaside.Villa Albatroz is the sister hotel of Hotel Albatroz and therefor allows access to the pool of Hotel Albatroz where one can relax when the beaches are too crowded and/or too hot. There one can have lunch as well, with a fantastic view to the sea and beaches.

Negativ:: Villa Albatroz is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but I expect a few of those stars are "inherited" from Hotel Alabtroz. It has a good location but unless you get a discount it's not good value for money. Our room was a Standard Double with Sea View, but you had to stretch your neck to see the sea. Most rooms do not have a balcony. Breakfast was a bit dull as well.

Positiv:: Stilvolles Hotel. Schönes Zimmer. Sehr gute Lage, deshalb auch problemlose Anreise mit öffentlichem Verkehr möglich.

Negativ:: Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte in dieser Preisklasse etwas reichhaltiger und vielfältiger sein.

Positiv:: The hotel was very gracious and comfortable and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful.

Negativ:: The biggest drawback is that there is no swimming pool. A five star hotel at this price in this heat really should have a pool and the stay was marred by the lack thereof. There were two pools close by. At the very least the hotel should have an arrangement whereby it's guests can make use of one of these pools without having to pay for a day's usage of the pool - particularly when one just wants a 10 minute swim to cool off.

Positiv:: Everything and everyone was amazing. Accomodations were well appointed with thoughtful attention to details retaining he integrity and timelessness of another era. The grounds and beach were spectacular and a dune walk on the other side of the street is a must. Great place!!!

Negativ:: Getting lost on a narrow roads due to inaccuracy of GPS from Lisbon.

Positiv:: We love the location and our room, what a beautiful place with amazing views.

Negativ:: We were excited about the property being relais and chateau and did the 3 hours experience dining. Beautiful presentation but food was not up to our expectation. The price was a bit high compare to similar dining experience that we had in Portugal in terms of value.

Negativ:: The attitude from some of the staff. To exhibit a poor little bird on a cage is terrible. Shame on you! I had to ask for a bed side table after I had to leave my glasses on the floor.

Positiv:: Location was amazing and the staff were absolutely fantastic!!! Also the food available was brilliant.

Negativ:: The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer.

Positiv:: Almost everything was just perfect: the happiness of our arrival, we felt expected, true sympathy on attendance, the brief they gave us about accommodations, amenities and history, the cleanness of all areas, including the room, the various offers they gave us (water, fruit and a Porto wine bottle) make us felt special. The special offer they gave us after knowing that we were celebrating 25 years of marriage was unexpected but delightful. About the room, we could dance inside! Awesome!

Negativ:: We understand that is very difficult to preserve the face of the hotel when You are so close to the shore (100mt), but for an 5* Hotel, it is expected that exterior windows are to be more carefully maintained. Also bathroom marble furniture would require a more dedicated attention or it will start lose his beauty. Nothing to worry much but we are talking about a 5* hotel with all glamour that we see on pictures.

Positiv:: Das Frühstück war sehr gut, alles da was man sich wünscht.Sehr romantischer Garten mit 2 Pools. Würde aber in Zukunft ein Zimmer im Garden House nehmen das ist ganz neu .

Positiv:: Good location - lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hotel is in a quite area. Easy to get to places of interest as day trips.

Positiv:: Staff were lovely and kindly arranged an early check in. Breakfast is fantastic and the cake in the afternoon and the honesty bar were both lovely touches. Gardens are stunning. It’s an easy walk in to town but just far enough away for peace and quiet.

Negativ:: Rooms were pleasant but a little more attention to detail would make them outstanding

Positiv:: Ein schönes Wohlfühlhotel. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Vor allem die frisch gepressten Säfte waren hervorragend. Nach dem Auschecken war es noch möglich den Pool zu nutzen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Negativ:: Den Blick auf angrenzende Hochhäuser hatten wir nach der Beschreibubg nicht erwartet ... aber alles andere entsprach der Beschreibung und war sehr angenehm ... vor allem der schöne Garten.

Positiv:: The staff were really friendly and helpful and the garden was delightful. It was about a 10 minute walk into historic Cascais. There was free home made cake and coffee on offer every day.

Negativ:: We were lucky to get a parking spot outside the garage for free but otherwise your car is on a meter.It was quite expensive but then Cascais is an expensive place.

Positiv:: It is a calm and relaxing little space away from the busy town, but with walking distance! Rooms are comfortable and staff is very helpful.

Positiv:: Beautiful location and friendly staff! De garden with the pool is a paradise. In a 10 minute walk you are in the center with restaurants and shops.

Positiv:: The hotel is a hidden gem with a labyrinth of steps, waterfalls and pools. Beautifully peaceful minutes from the historic town.

Positiv:: The breakfast was extraordinary. The pools were lovely. The staff at the kids club could not possibly been better. My kids genuinely raced each other to arrive their each day, and had no hesitation staying there without us. This is absolutely the perfect vacation for a family with young kids.

Negativ:: We didn't love the dinner at the restaurants but this is possibly because we are vegetarian and had fewer options. The children did love the pizza.

Positiv:: The property is really made for kids! The staff is super prepared to deal with the parents and the kids and the premise is amazing! Truly recommend to any family, spcially smaller kids.

Negativ:: Really nothing. If to say something, only as a recommendation, the floor of the bathrooms in the suites are quite slippery, not only for the kids but also for adults. And, maybe the restaurant could have better options with a more reasonable prices.

Positiv:: Rooms were spacious and an easy 30 minute drive from Lisbon

Negativ:: Some of the furniture in the room showed clear signs of wear and tear. Also, for a family friendly resort, not opening the main pool area before 11am is somewhat bizarre

Positiv:: Very much liked the What’s App concierge, just text for everything, no need to call reception. Kids loved the playground. Kids Club also very nice. Villa is great.

Negativ:: perhaps a bit more promptness is service around the pool restaurant and breakfast. perhaps a bit more thoroughness in the extent to which the room was cleaned. but i'm really being pedantic here!

Positiv:: Nice for families with children, lots to do. Good food and attentive personnel.

Negativ:: Evening before arrival I received an email. The villa that we booked and paid for in advance was not available. We got connecting rooms in stead. Together with apologies they offered us the rooms for their normal price which was cheaper than the villa. Only after getting quite upset they offered half board as compensation. Could be an incident, but still unacceptable for me. We book our summer holiday very long in advance to get the nice places and this was a big disappointment. The rooms are quite noisy, combined with all the lovely babies in the building you should expect to hear your neighbors.

Negativ:: There is the SPA area was so noisy. It was only one quiet place in the hotel where guests who are traveling without children have a rest. The hotel have a lot facilities for families with children. I’m traveling with my 17-year old child and we didn’t find place for relax.

Positiv:: In general, I did not like Portugal and this hostel, the Lisbon airport is dirty, like in third world countries like in Afghanistan or Gabon countries of Africa, we were kept standing by the plane for an 2 hour, dirt and stink of urine everywhere, a lot of beggars and homeless people and prostitutes on the streets of Lisbon. I was more tired of this hell made by man than rested. beautiful but at the same time gloomy and not friendly girls at the reception desk. I do not advise anyone

Negativ:: In a room for 10 people I could not get enough sleep because there were a lot of constantly drunk Germans and a woman who was constantly chirping for 7 days, the hostel is located close to shops but it’s hard to walk because it is constantly going up the mountain and from the mountain, the ocean is cold, more to Portugal I will not go it is dirty and not worth the money.

Positiv:: Staff were amazing! So kind and friendly. Exceptional service. Our child had a bed wetting accident and they cleaned everything (even mattress) without embarrassing us. The facilities were so pretty. The pool was cold but refreshing. The outdoor garden was warm and welcoming. It's a small walk up from the train station, but in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Breakfast was awesome (breads, cereals, meat and cheeses, eggs and juice). Apples, oranges, and water available throughout day. Place in fridge to store own food and access to kitchen to cook whatever you'd like. Accesible to grocery stores and restaurants.

Negativ:: Having a fan in the room would help with air circulation.

Positiv:: Everything was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The pool was great and even had floats, which is great especially for children. I requested vegan breakfast options and they had many, so thank you for that important detail :) The hostel is less than 10min walk from the beach and Cascais 'downtown', which was a very good location from my point of view.

Negativ:: We asked for some fresh drink/cocktail, like Caipirinha (because there were limes, sugar, etc) at the bar but there were only pre-made drinks as options, like bottled juices, beer and water. None of the employees present at the time knew how to make a different fresh drink, so there could have been made better use of the bar.

Positiv:: I loved the pool, garden area, and breakfast!

Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, stores. Room was super clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It was my wedding anniversary, and the hotel sent us champagne and strawberries. Everyone was super attentive and we felt like celebrities. Thank you Albatroz Hotel.

Positiv:: This is an outstanding hotel in an excellent position. The restaurant and terrace and some of the rooms overlook the beach. It is very smartly and comfortably furnished. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. There is a wide choice - especially of fresh fruits - for breakfast. It is easy to walk into Cascais, and the railway station is very close.

Negativ:: If you look hard enough for something not to like you can usually find it. With the Albatroz it seems to be impossible.

Positiv:: Very well located in Cascais with immediate beach access. Train station (for connecting to central Lisbon) 1 minute walk away and local shopping & restaurant area adjacent to hotel. Sufficiently small (60 rooms) to treat its guests as individuals and sufficiently large to provide the services a 5*-hotel should.. The staff is very friendly and guest-focused and combine professional and personal warmth. Will happily return not only as a business-visitor but also for private visits.

Positiv:: The view from the hotel terraces is superior.

Negativ:: We have received a room that had a superior view over a city but was located next to huge airconditioning units for the hotel and whole shopping mall located on floors below the hotel (literally 10 meters on the same level/ level below). Therefore romantic nights on the tarace where not with city background noise but with quite dominant "pumping" noise of the airconditioning station units. We don't smoke and the fact that next to our terrace was a terrace used by staff to have a cigarette breaks was also a minus. Service was not at the level you expect from the boutique hotel e.g. we were not informed about dinner arrangements.

Extrem helhörig, der Nachbar hustet und man fällt aus dem Bett. Die Toilettenspülungen quitschen laut auch in der Nacht ect. Luxus wie man für ein 5* Hotel finden mag ist nicht vorhanden. Auch in der Einrichtung sehr wenig schön. Er Preis von 280 Euro p.

Use of well equipped kitchen much appreciated to make use of delicious produce purchased in Cascais food market. Some good local restaurants walking distance away. Car needed as quite a way from town. Nicely looked after by Rafael and Paloma.

Negativ:: Bathroom needs renovation. Bed small and creaky (metal bed frame). No change of towels or bed linen during 6 day stay. Same cheap ham and cheese option every day at breakfast.

Positiv:: Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Lovely friendly staff - nothing was too much for them. We had to leave really early in the morning and they got up early to put breakfast out. Room and the facilities were excellent. The garden and pool were a joy. It was a bit of a hike to the main town but that suited us well as it was calm and peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Use of a full kitchen is ideal for guests especially as there is a Lidl store a short distance away. Location was good... quiet area within 25 mins walk of town and 10 mins from bus stop. A reasonably priced taxi can be organised by Jose for collection from and return to airport .

Positiv:: Fantastic villa Bicuda, thanks again for our lovely holidays. We have been visiting vila Bicuda for last 12-14 years and always received perfect service. Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful, location is great and extremely convenient (swimming pool, nice cafe, play area for kids). All is perfectly maintained, Vilas are clean and convenient, everyone is friendly. Again perfect experience and can't wait for next year ;-).

Positiv:: The staff were really friendly and gave loads of great tips on what to do in the local area, the facilities were surprisingly good and I really appreciated being able to shower despite having checked out several hours before! The yoga on the pier in the morning was incredible (what a setting!!!), and the room I had was great. It was really easy to find from the train station/Lisbon. It’s not in Cascais, it’s about 20mins away but the walk is beautiful along the coast.

Negativ:: It’s not a dislike, just something to note- the hostel is split over several houses, so not everyone or everything is in one place.

Positiv:: Dieses Hostel fühlt sich mehr wie ein Zuhause an so liebevoll eingerichtet die Bäder sind alle einzigartig eingerichtet und so groß und sauber der 4er Frauen Dorm ist sehr groß man hat genug Platz auch wenn man nicht alleine im Zimmer ist. Das Frühstück ist lecker und das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam

Positiv:: Staying at the Salty Pelican is a great experience. I didn't pre-book any packages but booked a yoga session on site. Luckily I was able to join the sunrise yoga at the pier, which is one of the best things I ever did. Highly recommended!

Positiv:: This hostel is a nice gem! They organize morning yoga by the beach every morning (+afternoon yoga, surfing lessons, BBQ and other activities, that we unfortunately did not have time to attend) - and it was a wonderful way to start the day! Rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the breakfast is a nice plus. We had a private room with a shared bathroom. I usually do not choose shared bathroom option, but in this hostel I did not mind at all: the bathrooms are huuuge and super clean. And no waiting in the line, even with a full house of guests :) The location is perfect; it is in a somewhat quiet, but very beautiful neighborhood, but still in a walking distance from the center.

Positiv:: Super Empfang. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen.

Negativ:: Overpriced considering there is a communal bathroom and we were positioned on a floor with an adjoining dormitory room The hotel is more suitable as a hostel than a hotel Breakfast was very poor, no mugs, no juice, no water, just fruits and seeds Would not recommend for the price, might as well stay in a hostel

Positiv:: The friendliness of the staff. The feeling of not being alone. It was my second visit. I am planning on coming back next year with a friend. I prefer coming here than a five star hotel.

Positiv:: Beautiful house with original portugese tiles. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast just ok. Our bed was really big and comfortable. Free parking outside the villa.

Positiv:: Relaxed and friendly property with helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and BBQ’s

Negativ:: This is a yoga and surfing retreat, although I booked as a hostel stay through booking.com and couldn’t do the yoga or surfing due to injuries and it left me a little out of the loop with everyone else.

Positiv:: Great atmosphere, location very convenient, offered lots of different activities such as paddle boarding, yoga, surfing,, group meals....

Negativ:: We were in their 2nd house up the street from the main one and very cute, comfy .... the only negative to this property is our room was warm and the air did not work well. Everything else was amazing.
