We were greeted with a castle view and delicious chocolates to celebrate our honeymoon, and the room itself was gorgeous and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary "Guido phone" that offered free local calls and sightseeing tips. Breakfast was delicious!

Positiv:: Der Aufenthalt war ausgezeichnet. Gegen ein Depot von 5€ kann man eine Urbana Card an der Rezeption ausleihen und spart somit einen Kauf. Sehr freundliches und äußerst hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Hotel! Trotz Lage an einer Haupt-/Schnellstraße keine Lärmprobleme.

Positiv:: Die Einrichtung ist außergewöhnlich. Das zusätzlich gebuchte Romantik Paket war sehr liebevoll. Das Personal ist einfach super. Man ist sehr schnell und unkompliziert in der Stadt und sofort wieder auf der Autobahn zum weiterfahren.
Negativ:: Leider gab es kleine Wasserschäden an Türrahmen und Decke im Zimmer.

Urbana-Buscard im Hotel erhältlich (5€ Pfand, im Zeitungskiosk mit Geld aufladen und im Bus damit Fahrt bezahlen). Hotel ist ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen!

Also when we were leaving breakfast, we overheard someone ordering eggs, which they did not mention was possible. We thought that was kind of a missed opportunity.

Die jüngsten Gäste freuen sich auf den Kinderspielplatz. Das nächste Lebensmittelgeschäft liegt 1 km entfernt. Nur 200 Meter von der Tavcar Penzion entfernt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle. Den Hauptbahnhof und das Busterminal erreichen Sie nach 5 km. Der Flughafen Ljubljana liegt 30 km entfernt. Gegen einen Aufpreis wird ein Abholservice vom Flughafen angeboten. Die Privatparkplätze an der Pension nutzen Sie kostenlos.

Feels more like staying in a country village than in a city. If you stay here, having a car is recommended since a couple of kilometers from the city center.

Very much appreciated the thought and care for my gluten-free diet. Also excellent travel advice and where to go and what to do in Ljubljana and where to find the best places to reliably eat gluten-free. On arrival we were met and on departure every care to see us safely on our way.

Zum Stadtzentrum kann man im Hotel ein Taxi bestellen nach 10...15 Minuten ist dies da und Kosten 4.-Euro/Strecke (fahrzeit ca 5 Minuten). Das funktioniert sehr gut und ist bequem. Zum nächsten öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel hat man ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig (auch rohes Gemüse!). Es ist alles sehr sauber. Sehr schöner Terassenbereich zum Essen mit Spielecke für Kinder. Ausreichend vielen freie Parkplätze!! E-Mobil Tankstelle auf dem Gelände.
Negativ:: Der Nachfüllservice am Frühstückbuffet was teilweise überfordert, längere Wartezeit auf einige Gerichte.

Positiv:: Die Unterkunft liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, aber so konnten wir unseren Mietwagen ohne Mehrkosten sicher abstellen. Mit Bus (200m die Straße rauf) ist man flott in 15 min mitten im Zentrum (3 Linien fahren). Die Fahrten sind mit einer aufladbaren Fahrkarte (Urban Card - gibts auch im Hotel) sehr einfach auch für mehrere Personen (1,30€ pP). Auch das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet leckeres Essen zu niedrigen Preisen. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker mit genügend Auswahl und einem Koch der Rührei, Pancakes und sogar Kaiserschmarn zaubert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und spricht gutes Englisch. Wifi hat tadellos funktioniert. AC war auch kein Problem.

No sink, so to wash crockery and fill the kettle You have to use the bathroom. There is no Common room, just a corridor with a few chairs in it, so you can’t really meet people. I lost my key and they didn’t have a spare one so I had to rely on a friend to let me into my room every time I used the bathroom.

It was surprisingly very quiet, even though it is right over a bar and we slept with the window open, couldn't hear any music or noise :) The location is perfect for bus/train station and city centre.
Negativ:: Male staff members should knock before going in female dorm. Reception in a bar, have to struggle for attention with people ordering drinks and bartenders handling your check-in while also trying to serve bar customers. Also makes it difficult to get help or tips from them, even though they are friendly they are very busy. Expensive for a hostel

Kaffeeautomat und Snackautomat waren die ganze Nacht gut zu hören. Im Schlafzimmer waren diese Geräusche nicht wahrnehmbar. Die Partygeräuche waren eigentlich auch gut ausblendbar.

Negativ:: Rezeptionist ziemlich unfreundlich und unkooperativ. Hat uns das Zimmer tatsächlich erst um 15h mit unsren zwei kleinen Kindern beziehen lassen, obwohl es offenbar auch vorher schon frei stand.

Weiters hatten wir auf booking.com für 3 Personen gebucht, jedoch war weder Bettwäsche, noch Bettlaken bzw. ein Handtuch für einen dritten vorhanden. Mussten wir alles nachfordern.

Negativ:: When hotel was open (with name Plaza) - quality was great. But after Radisson Blu bought it, it is very different. Design of hotel is the same, but every where you can see that they want to save some money. Pillow are very old, and we have to ask for others. Toiletries (even we were 3 persons in room) was only for 1 person. Towels are old and 1 day were for 2 person, another day for 1 etc. Breakfast is ok, but for people who do not eat every sort of meat, you do not know what they offer. Some headlines tags will be helping. Also, we must say that lady called Kelemendi was a great help on breakfast. She made as feel like at home. She was greeting us on breakfast and even she remembered how we like our eggs and coffee. Last day was another lady and she avoided every eye contact and option to ask her for coffee or something. So, that warmness depends of stuff. Parking is also an issue. When you want to go out from hotel parking - sometimes open fast, sometimes you have to drive and wait a lot to be opened. That system is very odd and need some better logistic.

Beim Aufschnitt nehmen sie teilweise die Finger zu Hilfe. Das ist unappetitlich. Wir haben dann verzichtet, weil wir angefasstes Essen uns ekelt.. Das Personal hat nicht reagiert. Beim Husten wurde auch nicht Dir Hand vor den Mund gehalten. Alleine wegen den Chinesen kommen wir nicht wieder. Sorry. Für ein Viersternehotel Hotel haben gewisse Gäste nicht die erforderlichen Manieren.

Positiv:: The Radisson is adjacent to one of the largest shopping areas I've seen in Eastern Europe and was incredibly handy for us particularly as we were driving through Europe and didn't require being in the city centre. It is just off the main motorway and was very easy to get to. Parking was available outside and inside a garage (using a lift system) which we need for the family. I was really pleased at the family room and certainly there was plenty of room for our kids using the fold-down sofa bed. Fixtures and fittings were modern and worked as you'd expect them to be. Staff were pleasant, business like and informative and all spoke good English. Breakfast was really nice as was the waiter staff. I would definitely stay here again and could have stayed longer.
Negativ:: Complaints are minor but the following is what could be better. It seems odd paying for parking but apparently normal for a lot of large hotel chains in the region. The bar downstairs is part of the foyer and could do with a little privacy or ambience but the service was typical Eastern European i.e., good.

When I complained I asked the receptionist the receptionist said "I get the picture" and said he would get the Hotel Manager to call me ..... I am still waiting, I will not return and I don't recommend you do, I does take much to be pleasant and nice to guests who have traveled thousands of miles to visit your City and you hotel.

Ab 6.15 morgens war es infolge Lärmemission durch Lieferantenanlieferung unmöglich den Schlaf noch zu finden.

Positiv:: Location was fair. Not as good as I hoped when booking online. It was a longer walk to the center of town than expected ~15min. They were doing a ton of renovations/construction on the casino below, which sadly impacted our stay slightly. Best part about this hotel was the bed (SOOOO COMFY!) and the breakfast. The hotel itself had a cool vibe, but our room wasn't the best (see below). The A++ Breakfast was a gigantic spread of anything and everything including an automatic pancake making machine! The onsite parking lot is also nice. Staff always seemed pleasant and helpful. Everything was always very clean and well-kept. I'm sure most other rooms were better than ours and once construction is done, the hotel will would worth the price. Now? No, not for us.
Negativ:: We apparently were unlucky here! Our room itself was an oddly-situated room that most other patrons would never experience. It seemed to fill in dead space of the hotel and therefore we had a long useless big hallway (inside our room) which led to a smaller bathroom and bed area. I am guessing most other rooms had a larger bath/bed set up and little to no hallway. If I was at the sink, I had to move out of the way of the toilet door and both the toilet and shower door ran over any towel/bath mat down on the floor. Our room also smelled of cigarette smoke. My husband couldn't smell it at first but after one night he woke up smelling it. I hate cigarettes and could smell it from the get-go. He told the hotel about it and they said they couldn't switch us rooms, but they did waive our parking (Got the impression it was free right now due to construction anyways though).

Positiv:: Zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage. Trotz Festival haben wir nichts gehört und konnten gut schlafen. Unterkunft bietet günstige Parkmöglichkeiten an, die jedoch ca. 5 Minuten (zu Fuß) entfernt liegt. Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend.

Positiv:: Die beste Lage in Ljubljana. Mit Motorrad ausgezeichnete Parkmöglichkeit im Innenhof (man muss aber ca. 200 m ohne Motor bergab durch die Fußgängerzone rollen).
Negativ:: Mit Auto oder Anhänger nicht erreichbar. Man muss zu Fuß ca. 200 m laufen. Parken nur in öffentlicher Tiefgarage möglich.

Positiv:: Das Frühstück war ok. Die Stuhlbeine im Frühstücksraum sollten mit einem Filzbelag oder anderen Lärmdämpfern versehen werden.

Positiv:: Very comfortable beds & great shower. Well situated & within easy walking distance to everything in the old part of town and even train/bus station only a 10-15 minute walk away. They have a luggage room to store your bags pre & post stay if needed. Good wifi. Good continental breakfast selection that’s included in the price.
Negativ:: Tea & coffee facilities in the room would of been a good addition. All the steps to get to the room with luggage and no help from the hotel staff.

Positiv:: Loved it. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a good breakfast spread. Couldn't ask for more.

Positiv:: Die freundliche schnelle und unkomplizierte Abwicklung bem Ein-und Auschecken. Personal sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und komfortabel . Matratzen sehr gut. Badezimmer Ausstattung besten. Der Kleiderschrank war sehr geräumig. Auch für die Koffer war jede Menge Platz. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral.
Negativ:: Beim Frühstück gab es keine Semmeln, kein Rührei, kein Spiegelei. Das Zimmer war zwar sehr schoen und gross. Es fehlte uns eine Sitzgruppe mit Beleuchtung zum Lesen.

Positiv:: The location is really perfect, very central, the staff was very pleasant, breakfast was good, parking lot is nearby and they even let us stay the whole day on the parking which was really nice since we thought that 12€ is an entire day, but it’s from check in until check out actually.
Negativ:: We didn’t like the bathroom, it was clean but not really comfortable for us, but it’s very adjusted for people with physical disabilities.

Positiv:: The location is perfect after visit the Plitvice Park, and if you go to the coast.
Negativ:: The room was big with sauna and jacuzzi included. The jacuzzi was just a big tub, so no jacuzzi, there was also a sauna. I didn't try it. There were 2 tiny windows in the room almost, no windows. For me that room was not really a room. Try to be sure they don't asking you that room.
