Negativ:: Am 1 tag wurden wir durch ein Boot abgeholt das kein Klima hatte. Mitarbeiter sind unachtsam und nicht geschult für ein Hotel das über 1000 Dollar pro Nacht kostet.

Positiv:: -The service provided is excellent, they picked us up from airport, dropped us at the ferry, etc free of extra charge. -Buffet breakfast was large and vatried. -It is located in the busy city center in narrow street crowded with motorbikes but it's safe and we could walk everywhere. -The rooms are clean with confortable bed and nice Nespresso coffee.

Negativ:: -Somerset Inn was very good but the price of the room was double of what we paid in Maafushi for similar room and service so I wished we had booked another night in Maafushi instead to stay longer at a nicer island.

Positiv:: great place to a one night stop after landing on a late flight before heading to our resort on another island. convenient that it includes airport pickup and dropoff. great breakfast.

Positiv:: Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites und zuverlässiges Personal, das den Transfer von und zum Flughafen bestens organisiert hat. Auf E-Mails wurde schnell reagiert und Absprachen alle zuverlässig eingehalten. Es war vorbildlich.

Negativ:: Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber in 5-10 Minuten ist man am Strandbad, wo man sich in einem modernen Cafe auch schön hinsetzen und etwas trinken oder essen kann. Die Gegend ist sicher, auch am Abend. Man kann sich dort auch spät problemlos und ungestört bewegen.

Positiv:: Das Hotel ist sehr aufwändig renoviert und sieht chic aus. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und der Transfer vom und zum Flughafen war perfekt organisiert. Auch gab es auf jede Anfrage meinerseits per Mail eine schnelle Antwort. Kaffee, Tee, Wasser stand bei Ankunft auf dem Zimmer kostenlos zur Verfügung.

Positiv:: Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ismail ist sehr engagiert und ein sehr angenehmer Gesprächspartner. Der Transport zum Hotel und vom Hotel zum Flughafen lief reibungslos und war sehr gut organisiert. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, man kann aus drei verschiedenen Optionen auswählen und es werden auch frische Früchte und Saft serviert.

Negativ:: Wir waren nicht sehr glücklich über den Endpreis, weil da 59$ stand und mit den gesamten Taxes waren es schlussendlich 79$, die wir direkt im Hotel bezahlten. Dies könnte transparenter und inklusive angezeigt werden.

Positiv:: We had a great experience staying with these guys. Right from the moment we arrived in the ferry terminal, Ismail was there to greet us and help take us and our luggage back to the hotel. The accommodation itself is great - everything seems new and modern, with lovely looking and very comfortable bedrooms, plus fast WiFi throughout. The breakfast was good too, with a range of options to cover all needs - eggs, sausage, toast, cereal and fruit. The location was pretty central which made getting out and exploring the city really easy for us. When we were ready to go to our next destination, Ismail organised and transported us to the ferry, making things super easy for us. All in all, we loved hotel octave and would definitely recommend.

Negativ:: There are bugs and mosquitos in the room, customer services representative promised to issue invoice when I extended my stay for a few nights due to my business reason, but when I checked out, she denied to issue, while expressed poor service attitude.

Positiv:: Champa Central Hotel is located in the heart of Male' city and almost everything is within walking distance from the hotel. The staffs are friendly and eager to help, the rooms are clean and spacious, and I mean very spacious, the executive room is larger than most apartments in the city. The rooms are also equipped with the latest amenities including an espresso machine. And the best part: all of this does not break your bank. The food was good and there were lots of varieties to choose from. All in all, I would definitely visit again and again as it feels more like a second home.

Negativ:: The airport transfers could certainly have been better arranged. I informed the hotel well in advance that I want airport pick-up, however as the vehicle broke down a few days prior to my arrival, this wasn't arranged and nor was this informed. Non the less, the airport counter staff was helpful and was quick to offer alternatives and needless to stay, this did not stop me from having a genuinely wonderful time at the hotel.

Negativ:: Wir hatten nur 1 Nacht gebucht zum schlafen und genau DASS konnten wir nicht. Das Zimmer lag an der Straße und war leider zu laut.

Positiv:: Sehr gut gelegen wenn’s um einen Besuch im Krankenhaus geht. Nähe zum Stadtstrand ist auch ein Plus. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse entsprechend.

Negativ:: Im Badezimmer hatte es einen etwas unangenehmen Geruch.

Positiv:: Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. Communication from the hotel and their Airport Transfer is amazing.

Negativ:: The photo's are a bit misleading... The location is not what I expected and in a super busy area of Male. For the same price we can live in a more modern and better Hotel, which we did after we returned from the actual destination we came for. The air-conditioner was noisy and the bathroom flooded every time we showered.

Positiv:: Die Lage ist in Ordnung, wobei das überall in Male der Fall ist. Die Zimmergröße und das Bett sind gut. Eine Minibar steht zur Verfügung.

Negativ:: Wir hatten das Superio Zimmer gebucht. Es hieß dann wir bekommen ein kostenloses Upgrade da es kein superior zimmer mehr gibt. Haben dann ein Zimmer neben einer Baustelle bekommen und mit Blick auf die Baustelle und das Nachbar Zimmer. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war auch nicht besser. Haben die Dame an der Rezeption darauf angesprochen. Es hieß wir hätten nun das Deluxzimmer, die sei höherwertiger als das Superior. Steht bei Booking anders und auch der Preis ist ein großer unterschied bei Booking. Sie meinte nur wir hätten schon das letzte Zimmer und es wäre ja besser. Wenn wir aber (wie ja eigentlich gebucht und bezahlt!) Ein Zimmer mit View haben wollen, dann kann sie uns das am Nachmittag sagen. Hat sie natürlich nicht und dann war es auch schon zu spät. Wifi war schlecht, ich hatte kein warmes Wasser und der TV Empfang wurde ständig unterbrochen. Im Zimmer hat es sehr seltsam gerochen. Beim Frühstück wurde uns erst am 2. Tag nach dem Frühstück Kaffee angeboten. Für diesen Preis war es einfach rund um nicht gut!

Negativ:: Very disappointed to arrive at this 4 star rated property when paying 4 star price yet for us this is a 2 star. We moved on from here to a 5 star in Doha,at least 5 stars of a difference. Very very basic room with outlook to people’s washing lines in adjacent buildings.

Positiv:: Not a 4 stars hotel! Great location but common areas are very bad full of moskitoes and not so clean. Buiding construction just next to the entrance door always open... not good to stay there at all!

Also we had an early morning flight the next day and there was no bell boy to help us out. Since we were a family of 5 it was very difficult for us to manage also the reception personnel was rude to us when we asked for help with the taxi.

Positiv:: I liked the personal, workers were very kind, unsvered all questions, suggested where to eat, what to look in a city or outside . Gave me a map. Alloweved ti wait in a lobby as much as I needed. When I asked to fix something they tried to do.

Negativ:: I did not like that there were problems with a TV. First it was not possible to turn it on, then reseptionist came and did it, after 1 hour approximately it did not work again , because it had to be recharged somehow. Bed was not prepared well. It is hard to find the hotel, located in a side road.

Positiv:: Recht ruhige Lage in Male, allerdings etwas versteckt in einer Seitengasse. Trotzdem sehr gut gelegen, da die Fähre zum Flughafen nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt war, ebenso die Fähre nach Hulhumale

Negativ:: One of the room had mold and damp smell. Plus the sheet looked dirty. Credit card machine were either out of order or no longer available.

Negativ:: Wir habe die Lodge nur ausgesucht, weil bei booking.com stand, dass es eine Dachterrasse mit einem Cafe gäbe (mit schattigen Sitzplätzen). Es gab aber weder ein Cafe, noch Schatten. Und Freunde von uns durften nicht aufs Zimmer, wir mussten uns an der Rezeption unterhalten. So war unsere Wartezeit bis zum Flug am späten Abend nicht so gut wie geplant.

No soap, toothpast or others Only 2 small water bottels gave us for 3 days and 3 people. No elevator and should to go 5th floor to get breakfast. Your leisure time dont spoile like this rooms

Negativ:: We got an email offering a pick up service from the airport because we arrived late, but they didn’t come. If you don’t pick up your guests, just don’t offer it (ended up just taking a taxi to the hotel, which is cheaper than the pick up service in the first place)
