Positiv:: Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal - jeder Frage / Wunsch wurde umgehend stattgegeben. In Europa koennten sich viele Hotels ein Beispiel nehmen. Schoene Hotelanlage und bequeme Betten.

Negativ:: Die Hotelrestaurants sind etwas ueberteuert

Positiv:: Wir sind in Mandalay auf unserer 2 - wöchigen Reise angekommen und wurden sehr freundlich & zuvorgekommend begrüßt. Das Zimmer war toll mit einem schönen Blick auf den Mandalay Hill, einer der Sightseeing Punkte. War haben ausgezeichnet geschlafen, in den großartigen Betten

Positiv:: Sehr gute Lage am Fuße des Mandalay Hills, gleich in der Nähe einige Sehenswürdigkeiten, fußläufig erreichbar der Aufstieg zum Mandalay Hill. Super Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt, vorallem gute Auswahl an warmen asiatischen Speisen, aber auch westliches Frühstück, frische Früchte, Frühstück auch im Freien möglich. Zimmer mit Stadtblick haben in den oberen Stockwerken einen tollen Ausblick über die Stadt.

Negativ:: Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man hört, wenn der Nachbar duscht. Auch in Richtung Gang sind an- und abreisende Gäste durch die Zimmertüre (auch nachts) zu hören.

Positiv:: Great breakfast, good location.

Negativ:: Van calling, spare for traveler.

Positiv:: Das Hotel hat ein außerordentlich tolles Frühstücksbuffet vom frischen Obst bis zu leckeren Nuddelsuppen. Der Pool ist schön, leider im Dezember etwas kalt.

Negativ:: Bei der Zimmergröße wird extrem geschummelt. Da unser 32 m2 Zimmer sehr klein wirkte, haben wir nachgemessen, es war 22m2. Bei Nachfrage an der Rezeption hieß es, die Betten seien so groß und müssten bei der Zimmergrõße dazugerechnet werden..sehr kreativ :-) wir bekamen dann ein Upgrade für ein Zimmer mit wunderschönen Blick auf den Mandalay Hill. (Auch hier ist die Angabe in den Buchungsportalen 38m2 und in Wirklichkeit ist das Zimmer 28m2 -für uns war es allerdings ausreichend)

Positiv:: Perfectly managed hotel with very nice staff. Pool is great but the best was the spa; incredible decor, good prices and talented staff . very good breakfast buffet. location is convenient but could be noisy at night on week end.

Negativ:: the smoking smell from some rooms on our non smoking room floor !

Positiv:: Ein Hotel, dass uns an die alten Zeiten der Kolonialzeit erinnert, mit fantastischem Blick auf den Mandaly Hill, edler Poollandschaft, mit ausgesucht freundlichem Personal, sehr gutem Frühstück, und einer Bar mit altehrwürdiger Atmosphäre, Livemusik und coolen Trinks.

Negativ:: Die Badezimmer sind leider nicht nur zu klein, in einem Hotel mit diesem Standard sind eine Badewanne mit Duschvorhang als einzige Möglichkeit zu duschen ein absolutes No Go. Schade.

Positiv:: Great staff an excellent pool area and grounds and top location. Bar is quaint and breakfast excellent

Negativ:: Nothing really to not like

Positiv:: We generally don’t like large hotels however the Mercure was wonderful. Great rooms, good location excellent staff. The evening show was wonderful

Positiv:: The hotel is not well located but in general I recommend it if you want a reliable and cheap hostel for Max 2 nights. They offer a very good breakfast, rooms are quiet and clean. Also bikes are available for free

Negativ:: Not well located and the area in the night is not recommended to walk around alone

Negativ:: Bathrooms were a little dated and to drain, water snakes across the entire bathroom floor. Other than that, awesome stay for a great price.

Negativ:: Die Zimmer riechen stark nach Mottenkugeln oder ähnliches, alt, ungepflegt, sehr renovationsbedürftig und nicht wirklich zum wohlfühlen. Frühstück ohne Tageslicht :(

Positiv:: Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal!! Ich hatte Probleme, weil meine Kreditkarte im ATM steckengeblieben war und sie haben sich sehr engagiert gekümmert, bis ich diese zurückerhalten hatte!! Leckeres, sehr vielfältiges Frühstück. Super schöner Balkon!

Positiv:: Front desk staff were extremely helpful with trying to sort out some changes to upcoming flights due to coronavirus

Negativ:: We chose a budget room as we we were enroute. Bathroom was pretty badly in need.of renovation but the shower was hot and enough hot water for two long showers, one after the other. The breakfast buffet was flavorless but after weeks of Asian breakfast buffets one can get a bit too fussy.

Positiv:: sehr schönes Hotel (schöne Zimmer, Bad. Dachterrasse ,...), sehr freundliche Menschen/Personal, sehr gutes birmanesisches Frühstücksbuffet. Haben 4 Tage verlängert (liegt aber auch an Mandalay selbst... ;))

Negativ:: Sehr viele Moskitos im Zimmer direkt bei der Ankunft. Unangenehmer Geruch im Bad und mangelhafte Sauberkeit. Das Hotel scheint sehr in die Jahre gekommen zu sein.

Positiv:: Das Personal war sehr nett.Service und mehr.

Negativ:: Nichts

Positiv:: Hervorragende Lage, suuuuperfreundliches hilfsbereites Personal

Positiv:: Das Zimmer ist für eine Person ausreichend groß. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr sauber und mit einem Aufzug zu erreichen. Warmwasser und Dusche sind toll. Auch wenn nach dem Duschen das Badezimmer schwimmt. Steckdosen sind genügend vorhanden. Das Wlan funktioniert super. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hat sich um mein Tuk Tuk für 5.30 morgens zum Pier gekümmert. Ein Angestellter hat mich am Abend mit seinem Scooter zum Shop gefahren. Für eine Nacht durchaus eine Option.

Negativ:: Die Lage ist ohne Scooter nicht zu empfehlen. Viele Baustellen um das Hotel herum. Im 5. Stock befindet sich ein kleiner Raucher-Balkon. Leider werden dort keine Getränke angeboten. Der nächste Shop ist 1km entfernt.

Positiv:: - Lage ist gut um Mandalay zu erkunden - Check in war frühmorgens problemlos ohne Zusatzkosten schon möglich (wegen Nachtbus) - Personal äußerst hilfsbereit

Negativ:: - übersichtliches Frühstück - kein schöner Ausblick aus Zimmer - laut in der Früh (mich hat's aber nicht wirklich gestört - gehört halt zu Mandalay dazu)

Positiv:: Die Lage ist wirklich gut, mitten im Zentrum und alles gut zu erreichen.

Negativ:: Das Hotel liegt genau an einer sehr sehr lebhaften großen Kreuzung, hier kehrt erst ab Mitternacht Ruhe ein. Die Fenster (2) sind alle samt mit Gitterstäben versehen, kein sonderlich Ausblick und ein sehr kleines Zimmer. Das Bad läßt zu wünschen übrig.

Positiv:: Super Hotel, Personal ist überaus freundlich. Man kann Roller vom Hotel ausleihen zu einem fairen Preis. Weiterreise via Bus wird auch angeboten, was für uns echt genial war. Definitiv würden wir hier ein zweites Mal hin :).

Negativ:: Das einzige "Negative" der Geräuschpegel (Straße) könnte etwas leiser sein, ist aber ok.

Positiv:: The rooms are clean. The view from the balcony on the 4th floor is really nice. Polite staff. The breakfast is OK but there are no fresh vegetables.

Negativ:: The bed makes awful sounds and the mattress is too hard. If you have back problems, they’ll get worse. The shower is pretty inconvenient.

Positiv:: Super Auswahl am Frühstück, Guter Kaffee. Zimmer sauber Personal sehr freundlich, konnten um 3 Uhr morgens einchecken ohne Probleme.

Negativ:: Too noisy. Cleaning stuff had the walkie talkie always on from 7am. My room was near the elevator and staff room and I could hear everything.

Positiv:: Das Badezimmer war gut ausgestattet mit Wattestäbchen, Zahnbürste etc. Das Personal war immer freundlich und könnte Tipps geben.

Negativ:: Es ist sehr hellhörig und es wurde gerade gebaut. Frühstück geht nur bis 9 was für Langschläfer ein Problem werden könnte. Das WLAN war sehr schlecht. Zu den Hauptattraktionen ist es sehr weit und gute Restaurants oder Cafés gibt es in der Nähe auch nicht.

Positiv:: Unglaublich tolles Hotel. Wir hatten uns mit der Buchung um einen Tag vertan, durften aber problemlos mit der falschen Buchung bereits früh am Morgen einchecken. So freundlich wurden wir noch nie empfangen. Tolle Lage, leckeres Frühstück und sehr bequeme Betten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Positiv:: Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (z. B. bei der Reservierung von Busfahrten). Sauberes Hotel uns Zimmer. Schöner Frühstücksraum im 10. OG mit tollem Blick auf die Stadt.

Positiv:: Der Wäscheservice war ausgezeichnet, die Minibar gut bestückt, wenn die Fernsehsender eingestellt sind, ist das Programm auch ausgezeichnet, Frühstück mit guter Aussicht im 10. Stock ist wunderbar, das Personal ist absolut bemüht und hilfsbereit und spricht gut Englisch Gleich um die Ecke befindet sich ein sehr guter Massagesalon, ATMs u. Geldwechsel auch nicht so weit entfernt. Meine 2 Tage verbrachte ich mit dem privaten TukTuk-Fahrer U Myint Htoo. Er wurde auf meinen Wunsch vom Rezeptionspersonal telefonisch unter +95 9 793137253 kontaktiert und ich kann ihn nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!!!

Negativ:: WIFI absolut schwach, viel zu langsam, 3% Aufpreis für Kreditkartenzahlung ist noch akzeptabel, aber dass der Zimmerpreis in der LANDESWÄHRUNG Kyat teurer ist als in USD finde ich absolut unmöglich.

Positiv:: The hotel is not only comfortable but also clean. Although it is not located near attractions, the transportation is always available to visitors. The breakfast offered variety selection. It’s worth your stay.

Negativ:: It was only accident, we experienced power drain in the early morning. However, the hotel managed to recover the system in a short time.

Positiv:: Staff service and helpfulness can’t be faulted.

Negativ:: Ein älteres Hotel im Zentrum der Stadt. Wenn sie in Haushaltsgeräten, Eisenwaren oder Alltagskleider interessiert sind, ist es der richtige Ort. Für alles andere benötigen sie ein Taxi.

Positiv:: Das immer zuvorkommende Personal.

Negativ:: Die Entlüftung der Badezimmer

Positiv:: Relativ gute Lage im Zentrum. Freilich von geringer Bedeutung da Mandalay nur mit dem tuk-tuk zu erkunden ist. Zu Fuß fast unmöglich da alle Gehsteige, soweit vorhanden zugeparkt, Zugemüllt oder durch Löcher praktisch in Bangkok Thailand unpassierbar sind. Umso erfreulicher das Mandalay-City. Koi-Fische begrüßen uns am Eingangsteich, ein 12-Meter Pool (etwas schattig) lädt zum Schwimmen ein und überaus freundliches Personal bemüht sich um unser Wohlbefinden. Wer sich dann noch eine Suite im 5.Stock Gönnt der ist versöhnt mit der doch etwas stressigen Aussenwelt . Empfehlenswert übrigens auch das Hotelrestaurant

Positiv:: das hotel hat eine super zentrale und doch ungewöhnlich ruhige lage! wir hatten ein sehr komfortables zimmer, ein sehr bequemes bett, einen schönen blick auf den palmengarten.

Negativ:: leider gab es aufgrund einer technischen störung während unserer zeit nachts ein sehr störendes brummen. das personal hat uns zwar ein anderes zimmer angeboten, aber konnten die störung nicht beheben. ich würde sehr gern wieder kommen, aber nur wenn das behoben wäre.

Positiv:: The location in Mandalay is ideal. As the city is very spread out taxis are required for most visits so it is important to be central.

Negativ:: The swimming pool is a little small and in the shade most of the day.

Positiv:: We were a group of eight and we really liked this place. The stuff was very friendly, nothing was a problem. The location amazing, in the centre, but still quiet with lovely courtyard with trees and with swimming pool.

Positiv:: Prima Frühstück, Schwerpunkt auf asiatische Gäste, Eierspeise konnte bestellt werden, das war prima. Super nettes Personal. hat uns sehr geholfen beim Buchen der Weiterreise. In der Nähe haben wir ein wunderbares Cafe und Restaurant The Window gefunden, 29St. zw. 80 und 81St. Wir waren mehrfach dort essen, hat westliche und asiatische Küche und es ist alles sehr lecker.

Positiv:: Hotel Bangan King has a nice roof top to enjoy breakfast in the morning. The rooms are simple and staff friendly

Negativ:: The rooms are very noisy. We could hear water draining from the bathroom all night.

Positiv:: Classic Burma hotel located in town near palace and other sites. Nice room but bathroom was strange in that there was an open shower and so when taking a shower, the whole bathroom gets doused. Restaurant and breakfast was very good. Very helpful staff. Classic décor. Free puppet show and classic Burma musician in the restaurant. FYI: All beds in Myanmar and Thailand are fairly hard beds.

Negativ:: Shower bathroom was unusual. Sent clothes to be laundered and the bill was high, $25 USD.

Positiv:: Good central location, nice old world Burmese decor. Great restaurant on top floor, fun puppet show. Nice staff. Some street noise on the west side especially, but city gets quiet early. Good breakfast. Would go back.

Negativ:: Everything was so nice

Positiv:: Das Hotel liegt zentral in Mandalay und gilt als eines der besseren Häuser am Platz. Das Zimmer war eher einfach ausgestattet, aber funktional und sauber. Das WLAN war stabil und schnell, das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant gut, das Personal sehr freundlich (wenn auch manchmal ein bisschen unbeholfen). Das Organisieren unserer Transfers zu verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten, zum Flughafen und zur Bootsanlegestelle hat reibungslos funktioniert, ebenso die über das Hotel organisierte Tour Amanapura/Sagaing/Inwa.

Negativ:: Im Bad könnten ein paar Haken in der Wand zum Aufhängen der Handtücher nicht schaden. Lagebedingt ist es nachts laut, was allerdings vom Hotel nicht zu beeinflussen ist. Gemessen am gebotenen Komfort fanden wir das etwas teuer ...

Positiv:: So much effort has gone into the design of this city centre hotel - it was a jewel of a place - the staff really go the extra mile and the restaurant is one that you really want to eat it. Add to that free traditional entertainment and free cocktails during happy hour - what is not to love?!

Negativ:: The room was not very large and we had single beds - I don't think they have many double rooms?

Positiv:: The staff, they were so friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was amazing. The room were beautiful and big and very clean Free happy hour every Day in roofbar/restaurant, with a beautiful view.

Positiv:: Die Bar am Dach mit hervorragendem Service

Positiv:: Das Hotel ist recht neu und schön eingerichtet. Saubere und gut ausgestattete Zimmer, die Beleuchtung ist etwas dunkel gehalten, was zum Motto „Bagan“ aber gut passt. Wer auf seiner Myanmar Reise noch nicht in Bagan war, bekommt hier einen netten Teaser. Das Personal ist super lieb und hilfsbereit, unser Fahrer Sai(m) für einen Tagesausflug war sehr angenehm.

Negativ:: Wenn man sich dieses Hotel mitten in der Stadt aussucht, dann darf man sich nicht über Straßenlärm beschweren - ganz einfach. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 5.Stock und der Lärm von der Straßenseite war annehmbar. Was gar nicht geht ist, wenn das Reinigungspersonal einen früh morgens durch lautes Gerede und ständiges Funken mit dem Walky-Talky aufweckt. Leider sind die Wände und Türen sehr hellhörig und dadurch lassen sich Grundgeräusche nicht vermeiden. Leider ging die Belästigung für meinen Geschmack darüber hinaus und lässt sich wirklich vermeiden, wenn früh morgens noch Gäste schlafen. Deswegen hierfür einen Punkt Abzug.

Positiv:: Die Lage war gut, die Zimmer waren schön und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit.

Negativ:: Eine Badewanne wäre schön gewesen.

Negativ:: There is only rain shower in the bathroom. It's not convenience. Only one shower cap.

Negativ:: Aufgrund der zentralen Lage hörte man den Lärm sogar im 7. Stock, nebenan betrieb zudem ein Geschäft extrem laute Musik - jeden Tag bis 19 Uhr

Positiv:: I loved the layout and coolness of the room - especially the window to then bathroom, where you puched a button and then you cant see through is. Also I loved the view from our room and from the restaurant.

Positiv:: Very helpful staff, always giving you tips and trying to make a pleasant stay. Location and breakfast were ok, with good views from the restaurant . The room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom. I would definitely stay again.

Negativ:: Everything was ok, nothing special but more than enough for the price. The keykcard didn't work very well in the elevator but not really important.

Positiv:: Frischgepreßte Fruchtsäfte beim Frühstück. Große Zimmer.

Negativ:: Das Hotel macht einen schmutzigen Eindruck, die niedrigen Decken tragen zu diesem schummrigen Erscheinungsbild noch bei. Das Frühstück ist mau und nicht sonderlich vielfältig. Die Rezeption/ Tourvermittlung/ Concierge Service sind alle in einer Person vereint. Unser Aus-Checken hat 15 Minuten gedauert. Das Restaurant, in dem auch das Frühstück serviert wird, ist im achten Stock gelegen und sehr ungemütlich - Ausblick bescheiden.

Negativ:: Es gibt leider kein Spa/Gym

Positiv:: Gemütliche Zimmer. Tolles Frühstück. Super Abendessen und riesige Portionen.

Negativ:: Schlecht isoliert - Straßenlärm und die ganze Nacht bellende Hunde vor dem Fenster zu hören.

Positiv:: We had a room on the 7th floor which had a panoramic view of the city. It was also spacious and comfortable, and very clean. We only stayed for one night as we moved here because, due to poor planning, the other hotels we stayed in were full. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our outward and return trip to Mandalay, this was the best value.

Negativ:: The shower head attachment in the bath was a bit low so the jet sprayed horizontally rather than vertically which was more of a comedy than an inconvenience but, hey, they had a bath, which some might see as a huge plus.

Positiv:: Good breakfast. The hotel was close to the Mandalay palace but not in a walking distance.

Positiv:: Good location, simple rooms but have everything you need, breakfast was good.

Negativ:: When I tried to book an early morning taxi to the airport I was told different information from two staff members which confused things, including payment method. Wasn't sure if the second person was unsure of the system but he said I could't pay by credit card which in the end was actually possible.

Positiv:: Perfect location, breakfast is good.

Negativ:: The room is small, and the sheet is a little yellow.

Positiv:: Die Lage war ok., nebenan gibt es einen Inder und ein paar Meter weiter ein tolles Restaurant mit Organic Food. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr hilfsbereit.

Negativ:: Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das wäre nicht so schlimm, aber ich fand es etwas unprofessionell geführt. Empfang war super, aber in den Fluren und vor allem im Restaurant lag so allerlei rum, was nicht hingehört. Oben im Restaurant scheinen die Kellner zu wohnen. Da hängt Wäsche, da schaut man in den privaten Bereich hinein. Eine kleine Trennwand würde genügen. Das ist eine Sache des Managements.

Positiv:: Super freundlicher Service see Hotelmitarbeiter. Wir haben keine Bestätigung von JJ Tours bekommen weshalb sich ein Angestellter liebevoll darum gekümmert und uns geholfen hat. Service Top! Ausstattung des Hotels etwas veraltet. Allerdings ist das in Myanmar eher üblich. Das Frühstück war super!

Negativ:: Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sonst top!

Positiv:: Everything in the hotel was great - the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel's location was perfect, and breakfast was good too! Add in the great Value for money and there was nothing not to like.

Positiv:: Friendly and accommodating staff. Could not do enough for you. Comfy beds. OK breakfast on floor 9.

Negativ:: Not much of a view from our window but as we were only there in the dark it didn't matter.

Positiv:: Für 1-2 Nächte völlig in Ordnung. Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Positiv:: Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, unser Zimmer war gross und sauber, Bustickets wurden uns organisiert und klappte gut.

Negativ:: Frühstück hat uns nicht zugesagt, schlechter Kaffee und das Abendessen war für den hohen Preis und die Qualität schlecht.

Positiv:: Sehr zentral. Sehr nettes Personal! Fahrstuhl war erstaunlich leise (hatten unser Zimmer direkt anliegend).

Positiv:: Super Personal, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Man fühlte sich immer sehr umsorgt. Auf Anfrage war früherer Check In kein Problem. Buchung von Boottickets wurde auch erledigt.

Negativ:: Der Kühlschrank war etwas laut, was aber mit Ziehen des Netzsteckers kein Problem war. Strom im Zimmer mit Schlüsselkarte, also Akkus laden nur bei Anwesenheit.

Positiv:: Sehr gut

Positiv:: Das Personal ist äusserst hilfsbereit. Wir sind abends mit dem Nachtbus weiter und es wurde uns zuvor ein Zimmer kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt, um nochmal zu duschen. Das war ein super Angebot!

Negativ:: Die Zimmer sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und es riecht etwas muffig. Dachterrasse ist okay, aber ohne Ausblick.

Negativ:: Room was very small and a wall very close to the window. The breakfast wasn't good.

Positiv:: Das Personal ist super nett und hilfreich. Nachdem wir bereits früh morgens angekommen waren, durften wir bereits das Zimmer um 04h beziehen, wofür wir uns noch einmal bedanken möchten. Den Sonnenuntergang kann man toll auf der Rooftop Bar anschauen, das ist wirklich wunderschön.

Negativ:: Das ganze Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und verfolgt eher einen altmodischen Einrichtungsstil, Renovierungen wären mal gut (vor allem der Badezimmer!). Zudem waren die Matratzen leider unbequem, man merkt jede Feder.

Positiv:: Great sunset view of the river. Room comfortable and good breakfast. Staff great

Negativ:: No many local restaurants nearby. Have to get tuk tuk

Positiv:: Von der großen Dachterrasse mit Restaurant hat man einen schönen Blick über den Fluß. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut. Das Personal, wie fast überall in Myanmar, super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Negativ:: Leider wird die Straße zwischen Hotel und River gerade gebaut, es ist ziehmlich staubig.

Positiv:: It’s a 4 star hotel for a 2 star price. What more can you want? Rooftop view is amazing, pool is refreshing, kitchen is good, rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. The m2 actually is correct. Free bikes. Great staff.

Positiv:: The hotel was amazing!!! Stuff perfect they have always smile on their faces and they helped us with everything! I felt there like a king in the American movie :) Breakfast was like in great European hotel and you can choose from plenty types of food. At the end of the day on the rooftop of the hotel there is a bar with great view plus sunset and there is happy hour with one drink for free. Possible renting of bicycle for free. I have to recommend this hotel to everyone! I have to give 10 points from 10!!! Thanks a lot for everything - Djezuba!

Positiv:: Staff members were all AMAZING! Our room was upgraded and we got a really big room with lots of windows and light. Beds were super comfortable, Nice rooftop, breakfast was great!

Negativ:: The area outside the hotel wasn't nice; very dirty and poor. No restaurants or motorbike rentals around. Also, we didn't like that the prices were very expensive in the hotel restaurant, compared to anything else in our travels around Myanmar.

Positiv:: The staffs are so friendly, they made me feel very welcome. The view from the Sky Bar overlooks the river & beautiful sunset. They served free cocktail every evening so you can watch the sunset while sipping on cocktail. WiFi is super fast & it is walking distance to the jetty for our boat ride to Mingun.

Negativ:: The pictures on the website are different than actual. The Sky Bar although is perfect to watch the sunset but there were so many mosquitoes that my whole legs got bitten up. The bathroom looks old and side of the bathtub are rusty, would have prefer a separate shower area instead of climbing in and out.

Positiv:: This hotel was a very nice place to stay for a few nights in Mandalay. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast buffet was great and the staff were super helpful and very friendly. The view from the rooftop restaurant was also very nice.

Negativ:: Unser Zimmer war etwas verwohnt und speziell das Bad eher in die Jahre gekommen. Unsere Bitte, das Zimmer gegen ein besseres zu tauschen, wurde freundlich ignoriert. Die Lage des Hotels macht es unumgänglich, zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten längere Fahrten per Taxi oder Tuktuk hinzunehmen

Positiv:: This is a reasonable (currently) low rise hotel, well designed, clean with acceptable food and staff. However they are building a very large high rise extension to the hotel which may well put off anyone who is looking for a smaller more compact place to stay.The building work means that it is currently very noisy during the day.

Positiv:: Ein grundsolides und sauberes Hotel mit herrlichem Pool. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und auch das Essen im hauseigenem Restaurant hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt.

Positiv:: Great facilities, wonderful pool, very helpful staff, in particular Me. Thursday Win, who helped us organise the remaining part of our trip.

Negativ:: Mattresses not very comfortable. And too many mosquitoes, although there is little management can do about it, apart from providing mosquito nets (which are available to guests)

Negativ:: Leider sind zur Zeit Arbeiten an einem direkt an der Anlage liegenden Halle, die noch 2020 anhalten wird - aber: einfach nach entferntem Zimmer fragen

Positiv:: A little taste of heaven: the room are very clean and comfortable, the decoration of the rooms and of the whole hotel in wood is wonderful. The facilities of the hotel are great: swimming pool, spa, gym. And finally the food of the restaurant is very good, and the breakfast is excellent

Positiv:: The interior of the hotel is authentic and chic. Everything was super clean. The staff was adorable and super friendly. Breakfast buffet was super. The Pool is also super nice.

Positiv:: The hotel was very good! They have a nice breakfast buffet and good food with huge à la carte menu, also with european dishes. The staff was very friendly and service oriented and the facilities 100% clean and spacious. The room had AC and enough space to place luggage and stuff.

Negativ:: The only minus point during our stay was the loud noise that comes from a big construction site right next to the hotel. For us it wasn't such a big issue as we anyhow spent most of the day on tour, but if you think about spending a relaxation holiday in Mandalay, this hotel is probably not the perfect stay - at least as long as the construction goes.

Positiv:: The pool was great, a little cold for this time of year though. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food from the restaurant/room service was excellent

Negativ:: Bathroom had a bathtub spa however the design was not very good and was unsteady for taking a shower in. Hot water took a very long time to come through the pipes

The bus arrived very early in the morning on my last day in Mandalay, around 4 am, which I didn't expect, so I didn't book any hotel neither have internet. Based on my previous good experience with this hotel, I came here in the middle of the night and ask the staff if possible to stay one night. They were very empathic and helpful.

Positiv:: The reception was most helpful They organised a driver to take us on a day trip to Mingun, Sagaing and Ava - super day The chef was amazing. He cooked two nights for us - we were his only customers. Breakfast was excellent

Negativ:: Not really a rooftop restaurant, it is an inside room on the top floor. Only two little tables outside, no service or drinks in the evening.

Negativ:: You can hear the noise from the chairs in the room upstair, that's why we did'nt take a room on the 5th floor below the restaurant. You wet the toilet floor with the shower.

Negativ:: Fenster sind nicht zu oeffnen. Daher stinken die Zimmer sehr muffelig. Das erste Zimmer war so heruntergewohnt und hatte gar nichts mit den Fotos zu tun, so dass wir ein neues verlangt haben. Das neue war minimal besser, hatte Fenster zu einem Schacht mit lauten Ventilatoren.

Positiv:: Super Frühstück im Dachgeschoss mit Kleiner Terasse und Aussicht auf Mandalay Hill. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Situ von der Rezeption hat sich geduldig und erfolgreich um alle meine Wünsche und Fragen gekümmert. Super, Vielen Dank

Negativ:: Wenig Tageslicht im Zimmer. Das Duschen in der Wanne führt zu einer Überschwemmug des Badezimmer.

Positiv:: The staff couldn't have been nicer. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is excellent and the hotel represents great value for money.

Negativ:: Happy hour could have been a little more flexible. We were 5 minutes late but there was no flexibility. Not a big issue but it would have been nice if we had been allowed to participate.

Positiv:: Das Frühstück ist sehr gut bis auf Kaffe und Tee. Die Dachterrasse unserer Zimmer (Executive King 2 x) ist sehr groß und bietet eine tolle Aussicht.
