Positiv:: Our stay surpassed our expectations - from the excellent location, to the helpful staff and the valet car parking as well as the beauty of the hotel itself, we wished we could have booked our stay for longer and would love to come back again. Happy Hour for guests and the breakfast were also lovely touches.

Positiv:: Auf Grund der Unzufriedenheit mit dem Zimmer, hat man uns ein ZImmer im Partnerhotel Villa Savarese angeboten- ein wunderschönes luftiges Haus, mit einem ganz bezaubernden Personal, die Zimmer sind hell und grosszügig, die Anlage sehr gepflegt- ein wunderbarer Garten mit Pool und Palmen. Wirklich traumhaft.
Negativ:: Wir hatten über booking ein nicht ganz günstiges Zimmer gebucht (400.-)- was aber bei der Beschreibung des Zimmers nicht auffällt, ist die Tatsache, das das Zimmer kein Fenster hat. OK- es gibt einen Vorhang und eine Glasscheibe, die mit Metallstäben versehen ist- kurzum- super Gefängnisatmosphäre. man hat uns darauf hingewiesen, dass dies ja klar aus der Beschreibung hervorginge- schließlich wäre es ja kein room with view. Sorry, aber sowas ist mir im Leben für diesen Zimmerpreis noch nicht ungekommen. Man hat uns jedoch dankenswerterweise eine zufriedenstellende Lösung im Partnerhotel angeboten, da das Haus selbst ausgebucht war. Ansonsten muss ich sagen, dass das Haus zwar sehr schön und üppig ausgestattet ist, aber dennoch sehr verstaubt wirkt....

Our room was overbooked and we were requested to say the first night in another hotel with an upgrade at both hotels which was very reasonable. It can put you out for the first two days having to move but staff at both hotels were first rate and looked after my wife and I from the outset.

Positiv:: The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The excursion and transportation operators that the hotel recommended were very good and the hotel took care of bookings for us. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the view from the rooftop pool and bar is extraordinary. The location of the property is perfect - very close to the main square and many restaurants and shops, yet a few steps away from the hustle and bustle.

We were furious as we wasted valuable holiday time just waiting in the lobby when we could have been told in the beginning that the room would not be ready until 3pm. Made an unimpressionable feeling about reception staff

Positiv:: The property is beautiful and the location is perfect, just steps from the elevator to the pier and near the main square. We had a deluxe room, room 319, with a huge bathroom and ample storage, and a big balcony with a partial view over the sea. The breakfast buffet was terrific and had an omelet station, which was excellent.
Negativ:: We discovered small black ants in our bathroom right after we checked in. The maid came up and sprayed. They died, then a few more came in. They died too, and that was it. The word must have gone out to the ant community to stay away!

Positiv:: We loved absolutely everything. Before arrival, the hotel arranged a private transfer for us from Naples airport till the hotel: very professional, on time and very welcoming, a great start to our stay. Then, once we arrived to the hotel, we were speechless: beautiful hotel, very tasteful design, only positive vibes. The reception staff was AMAZING especially Roberto who took care of every little single detail during our stay, from restaurant bookings to arranging transport for us, really outstanding service which was obviously memorable for us. In our room we were greeted with little sweets and complimentary water. The breakfast was delicious, and a special thank you to Luigi and Dario who really made us look forward to eating breakfast every day with their amazing service. Dario provided us with excellent service at breakfast, he brought us coffee four times to make sure it was hot enough: this kind of attention is incredible and your hotel deserves more than 5 stars must I say. The rooftop offers incredible views of the Marina and the sunset, we were lucky enough to be able to catch the fireworks of Ferragosto which was amazing. It was an unforgettable experience, we really look forward to coming back to Sorrento !

But we only knew this as we asked,,, it felt like it was ours, pool not crowded, bars empty etc. At the excellent buffet breakfast we saw the other guests and were pleasantly surprised by the piano player who performed nonstop! Close to everything, next to all the shops and restaurants.

B&B Casa Mazzola in Sant'Agnello liegt am Ufer, eine 4-minütige Fahrt von Corso Italia und 6 Minuten Fahrt von Piazza Tasso entfernt. Positiv:: Wir haben Ende März 5 wunderschöne Tage in der Casa Mazzola bei Luigi und Ugo verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt zauberhaft etwas außerhalb auf einem Hügel, von dem aus man einen herrlichen Blick auf Sorrento und das Meer genießt. Drei Tage Sonnenschein haben uns die Aussicht geradezu verzaubert. Unser Zimmer war groß und geräumig, mit allem wesentlichen ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Es gab überhaupt keine Störgeräusche und wir haben wunderbar erholt geschlafen. Luigi und Ugo sind um das Wohl ihrer Gäste rührend bemüht und kümmern sich unglaublich persönlich um alle Belange, man fühlt sich "a casa" bei ihnen. Das Frühstück war exzellent, neben den italienischen Süßspeisen gab es auch leckeren Käse und Wurst, Tomaten, Oliven, Eier, Paprika .... Dinge, die wir "Deutschen" zB gerne morgens essen. Ganz in der Nähe gibt es ein tolles Familienrestaurant (einfach ausgestattet, aber sehr gute Küche) "Stellucia", das wir nur empfehlen können. Luigi hat uns für all unsere Ausflüge wertvolle Tipps gegeben und mit Material versorgt, besser hätte es kein Reisebüro machen können :-)) Autos können übrigens kostenlos auf dem Gelände abgestellt werden. Wir haben wirklich eine tolle und entspannte Zeit in Neapel und Umgebung verbracht. Jederzeit wieder Casa Mazzola, es gibt keine Alternative :-)) Sabine & Cordula

Positiv:: Luigi, Ugo and Daniella's attention and care for us during our stay was amazing. The breakfast was extremely well executed and the homemade lemon cake was the best. Their recommendations and suggestions for the time to visit certain landmarks and locations were spot on and helped us plan our days accordingly. Furthermore, they'll do their utmost to pick us up when the buses have stopped running between the main town and the accommodation.
Negativ:: Apart from the location being slightly far, there wasn't anything we could complain about. The fact that this con was negated by their willingness to drive us around makes this a simple observation and it is not the accomodations' fault. If you rented a car, there will be absolutely no issues at all.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend und auch extra Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Die Gastgeber Luigi und Ugo boten sogar kostenlose Fahrdienste zum nächsten Restaurant an. Der Abschied fiel uns sehr schwer und wir würden dieses B&B jederzeit wieder buchen.

Positiv:: Luigi and Ugo are incredibly gracious hosts. They offered suggestions for various adventures that were perfect for our needs. Definetely take advantage of the restaurant up the hill. The location is quiet and away from the noise of Sorrento, but easily accessible to the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Pompeii. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and outstanding. The rooms were clean, quiet, well maintained and offered every convenience. Absolutely would return.

Negativ:: es ist ein bisschen laut. Aber das ist angesichts der Lage inmitten der Geschäftsstraßen und Restaurants auch nicht anders zu erwarten. Also kein Minuspunkt - nur eine Info. Dafür ist die Lage super. Für mit dem Auto anreisende stehen externe Parkmöglichkeiten in einer Garage eines Drittanbieters (kostenpflichtig - ist auch so korrekt beschrieben) zur Verfügung. Man lässt das Auto dort (samt Schlüssel), wird zur Unterkunft gefahren und bei Abreise wird das Auto dorthin zurückgebracht. Ist ein guter Service, der seinen Preis auch wert ist.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fresh and delicious with the most friendliest lady in charge. Definitely comes highly recommended.

Time and time again the staff went the extra mile to help us have an amazing stay - from responding quickly to emails offering prompt and helpful advice before we started our trip, Andreas and Rosa on reception helping with bookings, the wonderful lady at breakfast with a smile for us every day (and the delicious pastries), to the owner personally phoning the local beach club to ensure we were given the best sunbeds when we visited. I can’t stress enough how these people made our visit so incredible - always applying a personal touch to help us out. Thank you so much.

Positiv:: From the moment we checked in and for our entire stay we were treated like family. The breakfast every morning was delicious and plenty to choose from. I would DEFINITELY stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it. My wife and I spent 2 weeks traveling through England, France, Switzerland and Italy and this was by far the best place we stayed. 10/10!!!

Negativ:: However, given the price you pay, the hotel is very out dated! The restaurant felt like we stepped into the Titanic! On our first night we went to the hotel restaurant for dinner and we were told we couldn’t dine in the restaurant as all men need to be in trousers!! I was very upset given the time of the night, and we are the hotel Guest. We were never told such rule applied when booking this hotel! Making sure we bring a pair of trousers was the last thing on my mind for honeymoon! So I asked the gentleman where does he expect us to eat tonight??? He reluctantly let us in for dinner and told us that my husband must be in trousers tomorrow if we want to eat there again! We never returned back again!! The food taste like retirement home food! The hotel was 99% old people, felt like we lived in a retirement home!

Positiv:: Wow! Our 2nd stay here and again it was an amazing stay. This time we stayed in one of the deluxe rooms. It was absolutely stunning, a cave style bathroom and a bed with the most amazing view. A private terrace to relax on, luxury through and through. The staff here are fantastic, so friendly from front desk to breakfast/bar staff, everybody greets you with a smile and they are most attentive and helpful. Nothing is too much for any of the team, we were yet again made to feel very welcome. The breakfast each morning was beautifully laid out and plentiful, we absolutely love this gem of a hotel. It’s just brilliant, and it’s location is just by the port, and a lovely short stroll to the centre. We will be back without a doubt!

Positiv:: It was a relatively small hotel with very personal and friendly service. All of the staff were enthusiastic in their work and keen to ensure that we experienced the very best of Sorrento. We spoke to the staff about our intention to go walking in the area and were given very helpful local advice about good places to visit. The hotel itself was great. The quality and cleanliness of the room was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was taken on the terrace and included a selection of fruit, cereals, bacon, eggs, cold meat and fantastic cakes. Being on the working marina it was easy to use the ferry and we were provided with additional entertainment to watch from the room window or the roof terrace. The restaurants we visited on the marina were good and again, the hotel staff were happy to make recommendations.
Negativ:: We enjoyed the short but steep walk up to town by any one of several routes. For some people it may be quite a challenge to get up and down to town but there is a lift just around the corner at a cost of €1 each way.

Sweet cakes yoghurt and plenty of varied fruits and cereals. Beds were very comfortable. The most unique stunningly decorated rooms utilizing the natural rock (hotel is built in front of the cliff) easy access to ferries to Naples and Capri. Garages are close by as well ! We walked up to the town and had dinner and shopped ! Good prices compared to other Almafi Coast towns. Definitely would recommend and return !

Positiv:: The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the location was perfect - in the middle of everything. The hotel was quiet and located in an area where cars are not permitted to drive, however parking for our vehicle was available nearby at a private parking lot. There were restaurants, cafes, and shops all around. We were also able to leave our luggage with reception for a few hours while we ventured around Sorrento a little more after our check-out time.

Positiv:: Small boutique style hotel. Rooms were a good size. The location in the old part of Sorrento amongst all the shops was brillant. The port was only 10 minue walk away and the town square was only 5 minutes away. There were plenty of great places to eat nearby. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Negativ:: It would have been fantastic to have a pool after long days of seeing the sites.

The breakfast is fantastic, with a lot of choices, excellent coffee, pastries, and fresh orange juice made right in front of you. Nice rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the view over the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvio.
Negativ:: Not enough storage space in the room, just a closet with a very small safe. Not an issue for us, we traveled light and only stayed here for three nights. A dresser added to the room would make a difference.

Negativ:: Unfortunately, on the first night of our stay I went to have a shower and noticed that the water went all over the floor and was not going down the drain. I pulled up the drain to find that somebody had pooped in the shower drain prior to our stay. There was water all over the bedroom and bathroom floors at this point. Raffaela was very quick in terms of getting us a new room. However, this was obviously not a nice experience for us and we felt very unhygienic. The room we were moved to was also a good bit smaller than the original but, I still paid the same price.

Positiv:: The location is excellent, but a bit noisy in the evening. The air conditioning keeps on working when you leave the room. The coffee is available any time. Very clean nice room, the interior design is very good. Very nice and helpful receptionist.
Negativ:: The lift is very slowly. The wardrobe is open which makes the room look untidy. And not enough space for two peoples clothes. Very difficult to operate induction stove. The fridge does not work very good, the food is hardly cold in there.

Francesca was. so nice and helpful, picked me up from where my car dropped me of (cars can't get into the historical center) helped me with my luggage. I LOVE the room, so big and spacious. the thing I loved the most was the shower, it has so much pressure, great for taking a shower after running around the coast the whole day. The place is so safe with magnetic cards to open the doors. there's cleaning service everyday even on weekends. I highly highly recommend this hotel and I would 10/10 stay there again.

The only thing which is not the hotel's fault is that it was fully occupied and therefore as we had checked out in the morning to experience the blue grotto and Capri before returning to Rome, was that no room was available to change clothes and freshen up.

Excellent choice of breakfast food- and due to us checking out early one morning before breakfast, the hotel provided us with a takeaway breakfast box for our journey to the airport! Lovely touch. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking at booking a holiday in Sorrento.

Positiv:: We can’t speak highly enough of the hotel and staff. Our room was very comfortable and we had stunning views of the sea and Mount Vesuvius. The rooftop pool was a perfect place to relax. The staff were attentive and the front desk were always happy to help with local knowledge. We were greeted with a cappuccino every morning at breakfast which was a lovely touch! The breakfast itself was delicious with plenty of choices. Highly recommend.

Negativ:: We booked a comfort double room. The room we were given was small with a balcony and it smelled of smoke. When we complained the receptionist said she would make housekeeping aware. I had to ask if we could change rooms and once I did we were moved to a larger room without a balcony which was much better. I’m so glad I asked to change rooms.

Thank you for an incredibly memorable honeymoon.

Positiv:: This small boutique property is well-located on St Antonino Square. We managed to walk from the train station, and once there, were well-located for Sorrento shopping and restaurants, and easy access to the marina for ferry to Capri. As we booked the “apartment” option, breakfast was not included in our rate, but we so enjoyed having a spacious balcony overlooking the square! We had ample space in the loft-style accommodation, with small kitchen facility and dining area. Furnishings are very modern. The desk staff was very helpful and warm.
Negativ:: Our biggest complaints were that the WiFi did not work well for us at all — and please be aware that what makes this such a great location also makes it extremely noisy from busy traffic at all hours!

Positiv:: I enjoyed the stay very very much! The location is perfect. We only stayed there for one night but they kept our luggage so that we could enjoy the rest of the day without taking them. Beds are very comfortable and we didn’t here a noice during the night. It is very near by the train station or the port so you can go anywhere you want! Negativ:: in der heutigen Zeit ist es unangemessen, den gesamten Reisepreis (immerhin 4.760 Euro für 8 Tage), noch dazu bei Stammkunden 9 Monate vor der Reise zur Gänze einzufordern und abzubuchen. Dies ist genau der Grund, warum wir dieses Hotel, obwohl uns alles sehr gefällt, nicht mehr wählen werden. Außerdem sind die Preise für die Garage zu hoch. Auch wenn Parkplätze in Sorrent rar sind, würden auch 15 Euro pro Tag ausreichen

I told hum that my room is dirty and there is ants everywhere he just put his shoulders up and say reluctantly : ok we clean! I also once called to ask if they have toothpaste and he told me very angrily that this is a three star hotel and immediately hanged up!!! Other staffs were nice. Elina and Maurizio were really nice and helpful. Also the room bed was too firm and small so that my feet were hanging out ( I am 175cm so very normal).

Man konnte sich mit Spiegeleiern über Wasser halten. Der Blick ist zwar schön wenn man Meerblick gebucht hat, das Gebäude ist jedoch potthässlich - es sieht aus wir eine Mischung aus Parkhaus und Jugendstrafanstalt. Es verschandelt die Landschaft.

Then I was overwhelmed to upgrade our two rooms ( only one booked with sea view) to one executive and both with sea view and balconies. Both were spacious, comfortable, with generous toiletries & towels in the bathrooms. The view to the pool & sea is amazing. The pools are wonderful. The breakfast buffet is rich and generous. Everything else I missed is just perfect.

Positiv:: Location was great as the Line A bus is literally outside and hotel also provides a shuttle service into Sorrento city centre during day and evenings. Having the pool was a relief for the really hot weather in August. Our room was PERFECT with such an incredible view - couldn't have asked for more! Reception we're absolutely brilliant at helping us organise day trips along Amalfi coast/Capri. All we had to do was turn up at a the foyer at the right time! Fantastic service.
Negativ:: Breakfast was agreeable and suited our needs but may not be suitable for everyone and their dietary requirements. We didn't eat at restaurant during our stay so can't comment on meals but was always busy in evenings!

Negativ:: We asked for a taxi from hotel to train station to be booked (10 minute) drive and a private driver was booked ...20 Euro....in AUD this is approx 35 dollars..... otherwise very helpful staff. Probably tired hotel and towels thread bare.
