All in all it was a good experience, not the best but I managed, book your seat before hand because you will get a bad seat, i got a middle exit seat and it was bad a huge price to pay to get some leg space lol, didnt have a place to store my stuff and the table sucked and the screen placement sucked i'd give the flight 5/10 because of my seat which i guess is kinda my own fault lol anyway the crew were really good and the food was amazing

Negativ: "Everything. I was flying business so the standard must be higher. Specifically? Bathrooms. Replace eather-worn chairs. Leather retains heat making the whole chair hot. As someone who finds everything cold, this was unbelievable; flight crew (rude & bossy, not international standard); seat positioning (your seat mate has to climb over you); meal (feels like an economy meal put on silverware); the pilot! did a hard brake on the runway, sending loose items flying; I really have nothing positive to say about Royal Jordanian, except that I would be happy to avoid them again."

Negativ: "As a handicaped disabled not able to walk and should be using a wheel chair,as I know from my many previous travels with other companies like lufthanza, klm..etc, I used to be the first traveller to go to the air craft when loading it to take off and the last one who would be leaving it after landing. Even when going through the check and security points I used to go in a special route especially for the handicaped but going with all other normal travelers lines with such amount of time waiting and crowdness is completely inconvenient. what happened through the trip was quit different , going with the travelers or after when they are boarding the craft make it very hard and time consuming , Wish you take care of it, as it's a very important handicaped service. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."

Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep."
Negativ: "I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly."

Even though the delay was over 6 hours they gave no compensation besides lounge access to a lounge that is not fully functional. The next morning (yes the delay was overnight and they didn’t provide a hotel room) they called us all to the gate only to tell us they still were waiting for the plane to be repaired (the night before they’d Told us the flight would be in time as they’d flown another plane in). Again there was only one Oman air agent and just normal airport staff to handle the full flight. People were yelling and there was a lot of anger but no official announcements were ever made and only rumors passed from those who actually had a chance to talk to the on me guy. Finally when i arrived in Bangkok it seemed like they had there act together as there were many agents on the gangway to assist people to find connecting flights. Being so late there was only on flight for me and several others trying to get to Phuket. An agent took us to immigration and told us all he’d meet us in the other side to take us to the check in. HE DIDN’T SHOW UP. We couldn’t go back in the airport to find him or anyone from Oman air and were left to find an airport employee who graciously helped us find the booking office and just make the flight. I fly internationally regularly and this was by far the worst airline experience I’ve ever had or even heard about."

I came with a backpack, a roller bag I often can carry on and another bag to check.The bag allowance was just one to check. They wouldn't let me carry on my roller bag because it was too heavy. They encouraged me first to rearrange the luggage to make the one light enough to carry on, by putting some in the other bag that was being checked, But I explained that bag was already full. So they urged me to get my two bags wrapped together so that there would not be an extra bag charge. The ticket agent also came out to look for me---I hadn't realized they boarded so early---and walked with me to the gate. That was very nice of them. There were snacks and beverages on both flights and friendly stewardesses, and lots of movies to choose from."

Neben vielen kleinen, kosmetischen Mängeln, die mich nicht weiter stören, waren etliche Kopfhörer defekt, die Bildschirme in den Rückenlehnen lassen sich zwar klappen, kippen aber immer in die "nach unten Position" zurück, was das Multimediaangebot nahezu ungenießbar macht. Außer man stopft diverse Gegenstände zwischen Sitzlehne und Monitor, sodass dieser seine Position hält. Das Personal könnte öfter mit einem Getränkeangebot durchgehen. 2x ein kleines Becherchen in 6 Stunden finde ich wenig und bewirkt, daß reger Verkehr zwischen Küche und Sitzplätzen herscht (nervig). Der Sitzabstand für Personen über 1,85m ist auch mehr als bescheiden. Um die Knie zusammenzubringen muß man ganz aufrecht, im Anschlag an die Rückenlehne sitzen, was meines Erachtens keiner macht, geschweigedenn durchhält. Allerdings ist dieser Umstand mittlerweile bei fast allen Fluggesellschaften zu verzeichnen. Aber mit Recht kann man die Economy als "Schweineklasse" bezeichnen, weil genauso wird man eingepfercht."

We were not allowed to board the flight to Riyadh from Istanbul! At the boarding gate we were not permitted to enter saying you are Indian or of Indian origin and Saudi government has asked not to board us!! We were stranded at Istanbul airport for more than 24 hours and had to book our own separate ticket to get to India! Kayak or Chatdeal.com who issued the ticket were not helpful at all. I will not use these sites or recommend these sites for ticket purchase to anyone.

The plane was old so not much in it… but overall boarding and departure on time and arrival ahead of time was the best part
