Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai."

Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

The two queues were not labeled, there was much line-switching, and the passport-check lines blocked the terminal for travelers for other flights... The incoming plane was late; we wondered why this passport check could not have proceeded while we waited instead of delaying our boarding once our plane arrived."

Negativ: "There was a thunderstorm & a wreck that morning, so even though we planned to arrive 90 minutes before boarding we ended up not making it until avout 62 minutes before flight time. They only had one gate agent and she stepped away before we could check in. Assuming she'd be right back, we waited for her instead of checking in by terminal. By the time she returned it was too late to check in and they wouldn't let us board. Air Canada didn't have another flight until the next day, so we had to spend $5000 to re-book our flight on a different airline."

However when we all stood in line, the crew did not help anyone but talked with one another and then only one helped for about two minutes before disappearing. I was second in line and I stood there for over 30 minutes. Then once we boarded the flight, the crew was very rude when speaking to customers. Overall the crew was very unorganized and extremely rude."

Negativ: "Our Hamburg flight was 10-15 mins late. We arrived at the gate for our next leg to find the doors locked 10 mins before flight departure. They knew we were on a connector that was late but just bumped us off."
Negativ: "I'd really like to see specific baggage allowance written on the ticket or confirmation letter. That was very frustrating that it wasn't specifically listed. Especially with multi-city trip, having to go look up each leg and try to remember allowances, would have been better if it was just listed al"
Positiv: "The crew was super friendly. The seats were ok but for a 12 hour flight nothing would be perfect."
Negativ: "I think it went as well as possible. No delays in boarding and only short delay waiting for a gate at SFO. The flight crew were very friendly and drinks and food were adequate."
Positiv: "lousy crew — one was too busy reading his newspaper to bother telling people who were waiting for the toilet that there was another unmarked toilet right behind where the people were waiting"

Negativ: "Again, I did not make the DC flight,not delayed as an email had announced but closed at least 20 mins prior to departure, so no one was let in (after running through Zurich airport, again, no help). Rebooking possible and easy for my route, difficult for those going to DC and further west."

Positiv: "Everything about the airlines and aircraft and crew make you feel like you’re flying first class even when you’re not. The plane was immaculate, foot was gourmet (and A LOT of it!) and crew was professional, friendly and efficient. I will plan on scheduling all my international flights with Swiss Airlines when possible. We even flew on a shorter flight with them and still received a good sized meal."
Negativ: "We were late to catch flight to Washington. Our lodges were lost and we have to wait over two hours till they find it."
Negativ: "The flight was delayed 6 hours. No notification till early morning of flight. If known ahead of time would have stayed in France a day longer. Picked for security which was fine except stood in line for 1/2 hr. while those suppose to check us were sitting and laying around. Make me too late for helping my husband ( in a wheelchair) onto plane."
Negativ: "My parents were traveling, they dont speak english and I verified with Austrian airlines that they would be assisted at the gates and that they had the correct visas for each airport they had a layover in. I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. I have never had so many communication issues and frustrations in the middle of the night with an airline. disappointed."

I wouldn't have even minded paying a little extra for snacks but a small dinner and small sandwich as a snack was all there was. Plenty of drinks though. My day did not recline all the way, I only got it to move an inch or so."
Negativ: "After being so delayed on our first flight from San Francisco, I was nervous about getting to our connecting flight in Houston. We were assured by the flight attendant that when a flight is delayed and has connections, they communicate that to the gates and we would be fine. It was the OPPOSITE of fine. We landed with 10 minutes until the flight to Costa Rica left and they let all of us who were connecting deplane first, only to run full speed to a gate who’s plane left 10 minutes EARLY and decided that it was not going to wait for the 12+ passenagers who had no control of the delayed flight. My fiancé and I were flying to our WEDDING. So now I’m sitting here in Houston for a full 24 hours waiting for the next flight to take me to my wedding. The only “accommodation” united airlines gave us was a hotel. No compensation for the night we paid for at our resort in Costa Rica that we are missing, no upgrades to a better class on our new flight and no reassurance on how terrible they feel for this giant and heartbreaking inconvenience. I am furious."
