Der Flug war überbucht, so dass wir erst im zweiten Anlauf Plätze bekamen. Der Check-in mit den Automaten in Wien ist eine Zumutung. In Berlin war die Ankunft des Fluges nicht bekannt. Es dauerte ca. eine halbe Stunde, bis wir von Bord gehen konnten. Entsprechend lang dauerte auch die Gepäckausgabe. Das ist aber ein Problem des Flughafens BER (wen wundert das?) und nicht von Austrian Airlines.

Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us."
Positiv: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

Das Warten in der Kälte war nicht gerade sehr angenehm. Vielleicht auch etwas weniger Werbung für Alkohol. Aber sonst alles ok

Obwohl mein Rucksack den Handgepäckbestimmungen entsprach, musste ich meinen Rucksack beim Boarding einchecken. Das war zwar unentgeltlich, aber durch das Warten auf mein Gepäck habe ich meinen Zug verpasst und meine Pins am Rucksack waren abgerissen und ich habe sie nicht wiederbekommen. Es war ein Pin von Maui und einer von den Seychellen. Das ist wirklich mehr als schade und ich habe mich sehr darüber geärgert. Ein Hinweis, dass man die Pins besser abmacht und im Rucksack verstaut, wären wirklich hilfreich gewesen."

Perhaps this could be made more clear for travelers who have never experienced this before."

Negativ: "Didn't like how they charged me a fee that was more than the price of my ticket because I didn't check in before arriving at the airport. At no point was I warned about this penalty. They told me they sent my phone a text message but I never received anything. I use kayak to book all of my flights and it sucks that you guys work with a company who basically tricks people who book with them by providing cheap tickets and then charging bogus fees. I'm disappointed."

Das Boarding und der die Gepäckaufgabe wird von mürrischen und unmotivierten Mitarbeitern durchgeführt. Das Personal an Board spricht relativ schlechtes Englisch. Ryanair versucht „priority check in und Boarding zu verkaufen sowie priority security’s control. Absoluter Schwachsinn und reine abzocke. Security control: nicht beeinflussbar durch eine Airline. Priority boarding? Es gibt bei Ryanair lediglich eine Schlange in die sich alle zur gleichen Zeit einreihen. Kein Aufruf dass ausschließlich priority Leute zu erst an Board dürfen oder ähnliches."

Despite having already checked in online, Ryannair apparently thinks I should have spent my holiday hunting down a print shop as not to incur their "get a printed boarding pass from an unpleasant ticket counter employee" fee. No boarding pass kiosks and unclear why they would not provide a digital one upon online check-in. Or rather it became clear as I handed over my debit card. Seats are intentionally designated apart from your travel companions so you'll pay more to have them switched to sit next your friend. Cabin is extra cramped. Ryannair is all-around terrible by budget airline standards."

Das neu eingeführte Handling von größerem Handgepäck (Abnahme am Gate durch Mitarbeiter, Rückgabe am Gepäckband) ist zeitaufwändig und führt nicht zu einem schnelleren Boarding."

Das Flugzeug war sauber, es gab genügend Platz und somit alles absolut in Ordnung! Wir waren pünktlich und der Koffer war auch schnell am Band! Einfach gut!"
