We were late boarding, late taking off, micromanaged by the crew like we’re stupid, the food was truly god awful atrocious... and there were like 20 movies to choose from for a 7 hour flight. Furthermore, there were NO snacks available for purchase so you were forced to eat gross food.
Negativ: The entertainment is very poor. The programs are not on demand and the screeen is old, small and very poor quality. The A330-200 I flew from Boston to Lisbon was excellent and had the new lie flat seats and on-demand entertainment. Big difference between the two airplanes.

Negativ: Boarding was disorganised! Passengers were rude and shoving people out the way! Too many suitcases on board that then had to be taken off and checked into the hold. Had a rude guy sat next to me who literally took up half my seat too and leg space.
Negativ: Both flights there and back we're delayed in total about 4hours and when you're away for a wkend that's a long time!! I've flown with other companies over the last few years and times have been spot on!

Positiv: There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting.
Negativ: I like Kayak. But am very concerned about booking through in the future with this treatment.

Negativ: Headphone jacks that work would have been nice. 6.5hr flight without sound! The crew disappeared and would only give half cups of water when asked for. ALCOHOL not just wine and warm beer.

Positiv: In flight crew is really nice and respectful, seats were comfortable, clean bathrooms, in flight entertainment is good.
Negativ: Boarding at Lisbon airport was one of the worst experiences. Passengers were asked to line up at least 30 minutes before boarding started and it was hot in the terminal. As boarding started, passengers were split into groups by boarding zones...premium passengers boarded first as expected, then people with small bags. This is where the problem was because a group of four passengers who had one small bag (that could fit under seat) were allowed to go before passengers in boarding zones A/B. The whole idea is people who could fit bags under their seat would board first, but the tap team made a mess and allowed many passengers with large bags in as well. I was one of the last ones to be boarded and stranded on the line for over 40 minutes with my backpack...after traveling for a month and being delayed in Rome, last thing you want is stupid mistakes like this to cause you stress.

Negativ: I arrived 13 hours late, had two extra flights. I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining.

Positiv: airlines could have mentioned that the second leg would require going thru security again and would take a very long time and that I should do this immediately after disembarking even though a gate had not yet been assigned. As A consequence of an intensive interview process before boarding the international leg of the trip (initially only two reps processing everyone on the plane for a few minutes each) the plane left the gate late. It also lost another 15 -20 minutes in flight making it 30 minutes late and I missed my connection in Miami necessitating me to spend a night in a motel and finish my flight the next day.
Negativ: Had the crew enabled me to be first off the plane I would have made the connection but I lost an additional 20-25 minutes being seated in the rear of the plane

Positiv: What I love the most is the cabin crew through speaker was very funny, breaking the ice by making jokes. I have never experience that before and it's the best start to a flight if you are a bit concerned about flying. Was very easy and organised to board and the crew were very nice,

Positiv: I am used to traveling continents with other companies. There has always been 2 check in bags allowed with no extra charge as long as you are under 23kg on each. I get to the airport with my 2 bags ready, TAP tells me on large holidays, they only allow 1 bag to be checked to my specific african destination until January 11. And that one bag will cost me $120. They will not let me have the second one. Who does that? How much sense is this supposed to have. I checked with others and they do not do that. Never again they will see me.
