Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

Negativ: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Positiv: "I've never been on a flight with such narrow seat and thin cushion. There was no entertainment offered for the almost 4 hour flight. There was no means of charging any electronic gears. The airplane seems to be 30 years behind time. Crew was unfriendly and smiling faces are not part of the uniform."

Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Negativ: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Seats were okay but no recline and underseat storage was small. (Backpack wouldn't fit underseat and had to be stored in overhead.) Passengers crowding from back of plane upon arrival made it hard to deplane and felt rude."

Negativ: "Der Flug wurde um 6-7 Stunden verschoben, so dass ich keinen Anschluss Flug mehr hatte um nach Hause zu kommen. Der Service vor Ort war sehr schlecht, es hatte viel zu wenig Personal. Ich hatte einen freundlichen Helfer am Schalter, aber sein Supervisor hat mich dann ohne zu Fragen einfach irgendwie umgebucht, z.B. ein Tag später, dann mit Übernachtung irgendwo. Die Flüge am selben Tag wurden zuerst gar nicht berücksichtigt, bis ich dann online selber gesucht habe. Schlussendlich hat mir ein Mitarbeiter der Lufthansa geholfen noch einen Flug am gleichen tag zu bekommen. Mein Gepäck ist bis jetzt 48h später noch nicht aufgetaucht. Gesamthaft für United ein sehr schlechter Service!!!"
