KleinwagenPositiv: Anmietung am bekannten Parkplatz aller Autovermieter der bequem zu Fuß als auch mit shuttle zu erreichen ist...Negativ: Windschutzscheibe extrem verschmiert - bei sonneneinfall alles verzehrt // die bei der Anmietung bekannten Beschädigungen (Felgen ) waren bereits markiert, bei der Rückgabe wurde jedoch versucht eine eben dieser nochmals neu ( auf meine kosten ) zu vermerken.....mittels energische Protest wurde jedoch davon abgelassen. ... (War auch alt!)
Terrible Service / No Lost and FoundPositiv: The people did a quick check on the vehicle and processed the return quickly. Negativ: We left a very important item (an heirloom glass jar filled with sand) in the center console of the vehicle and when we called the drop-off location they were very rude about helping us find the item. Then we called back and they still were not helpful. It seems they did not look through the vehicle thoroughly and we have still not been able to recover the item.
Positiv: Enrico at drop-off was great. Car was great. Negativ: I was lied to about insurance and required to purchase their insurance and the total bill was double what was quoted. I did add gps, but that should not have accounted for all of the extra
Surprise!Positiv: The car was almost brand new and was very nice.Negativ: However, we did not receive the BMW 5-Series we reserved, but were required to provide TWO different credit cards that were each charged the full rental amount! Ridiculous! The only other card I had was a debit card which held my money hostage during my vacation.
The staff was helpful, but this secret policy is terrible!
In addition, price was higher than quoted in reservation.
Negativ: The VW Up is a car with transmission issues as I found out by driving it up that Almalfi Coast roads and then by Googling it. An automatic that stalls and does not kick into gear especially in 2nd is scary uphill and on an autoroute. You should eliminate the car from your fleet.
The pick up and drop off don't have much space and it was stressful. Then again Naples is a hectic and stressful city.
I don't feel like I got a fair deal because of the fear of not being able to accelerate and count on the car to actually move especially in a place with so many very aggressive drivers.
Worst place to drop off a car. Positiv: Nothing - when I finally got to leave the car at the rental place. Negativ: No signs, employees could not be distinguished from the people on the street - no badges, shirts. Instructions inadequate - you don't drop off at the budget office, you drop off on the other corner of the building which can take up to 30 mins to get to by car because it's Napoli. Then, the process jumped from $268 (which was on the form at check in, and in line with what was promised on kayak) to 298 €!! That's $340. And kayak has no customer support and budget won't address this problem so I guess I will issue a charge back with my credit card company.

Anyway, the alternative hotel location was given, but there was no one there to do the check in check. so...a little unnerving to hand over your keys to someone.
Good car, poor rental agency locationPositiv: The car was clean and worked fine. The staff were friendly and helpful.Negativ: This agency is NOT at the airport. We had to take a taxi for 20 Euro to get the car, which took another 30 minutes, and then pay 14 Euro extra to be able to drop it off at the airport, which significantly increased the overall cost of the car. Very disappointed that this agency was presented as being at the airport.
Terrible experience!Negativ: The rental location was unexpectedly closed (Naples Central Station in Italy) and we couldn't get the car we booked or any other. At the last minute, we had to rent from another company and pay a premium. Stressful and bad experience!

2cm ScratchNegativ: Being charged 300€ + 90€ processing fee?! For a 2cm scratch the car had a much bigger scratch when we picked it up and the door would not close properly. So Europcar is not spending the funds it receives to repair their vehicles. And a clearly arbitrary system of damage fees.
Difficult drop off, signs to small and to few!Negativ: Drop off was badly marked, sign way to small! Passed the place and had to go back in spite that I was already warned by friends that drop off is badly marked
InefficentPositiv: No cleasr process for drop off. Took too long.
Not the car we paid for & the wait time was 2 hours. Positiv: Intentionally left blank. Negativ: The Hertz experience for us was not good. We arrived just before our scheduled pick up time of 9:00AM and waited 2 hours for our car. There wasn't a line or anything. We were told that they had to get the car from the airport to this Hertz location, however the airport is only 15 minutes from our Hertz location. Additionally, we signed up for a Fiat Panda but the only car Hertz had was almost the size of a mini van - not the car we wanted to be driving through the narrow Positano roads in. Overall, I do not recommend this Hertz location due to the wait time and the car we received. Also, there is a $360 pending charge on my credit card which should absolutely not be the case. We better not be charged more than what we signed up to pay for getting a bigger car because we absolutely did not want a bigger car.
Almost perfectPositiv: The car was great, clean, full of gas and perfect size for our trip.Negativ: After getting off a 9 hour flight we had to wait an hour and a half in line to pick up the car. And after we picked it up we then had to wait anther15 min in line to have them sign the sheet saying there was a lot more damage then recored on the vehicle.
Worst StoreNegativ: 1- The location is not convenient at all.
2- The place was dirty, super dirty.
3- No chairs to sit during the 30' wait.
4- The Staff was rude.
5- Was not the car we rented.
Positiv: Staffs are helpfulNegativ: It took us 90 minutes waiting before the car being checked out
Negativ: Slow pickup, drop off was a slow. no one at office (during operation hours).
Not up to Hertz Standard - possibly worst assetts Positiv: The price was ok.Negativ: First, the cars Hertz has at this location seemed abused, old and dirty. All cars were filthy. Seems they buy used old cars for their fleet. The shuttle was filthy, smelly and vents pumping stinky air on passengers.
Made us drive around for 1 liter of gas!Positiv: NothingNegativ: We arrived and the gas tank was full, but we forgot the receipt because we cleaned out the car. The rental office worker made us leave the rental car office and go find gas. I put 1 liter in the tank, and came back and everything was fine. We were dropping it off at an airport, this could have made us late for a flight.

3 - keine Stühle während der 30 ' warten.
4- Das Personal war unhöflich.
5 - war nicht das Auto, das wir gemietet haben.
