The staff was unhelpful at the time of check in, there is no reception or someone to ask for help at night time. The wifi was not working, we complained several times and their answer was if it was urgent to go to the 1st floor to use it. It was loud until very late, there's a bar on the 1st and 2nd floor. Staff is rude and unfriendlyPositiv: The only good thing about this hotel was the locationNegativ: Everything, I can't believe it has a 3 stars rating, it should be 1 star at the most
Before you pay for your room up front, verify that you are not assigned room 101. If you are, ask to be switched to another room or insist on a discount. Room 101 was like a dungeon because you cannot open your curtains since you are staring directly into a dining table from the restaurant. When we opened the curtains, the two diners stared right at us. This lack of privacy forced us to keep our curtains closed resulting in no natural light. It was also very noisy. As for the hotel restaurant, the food is good but it is overpriced...you are paying for the view. A 90 second walk around the corner will net you food and drinks of equal quality at a much more reasonable price.Positiv: The location was fantastic...right across from the colosseum. The rooms were clean and the staff was pleasant overall.Negativ: Room 101 has no view, and 201 is not that great either. 101 is extremely noisy due to the restaurant right outside your window and the staff using the stairs next to your door. The showers and plumbing worked poorly and the room safes didn't function.
Positiv: Location. The window in front of our bed had a direct view of the coloseoNegativ: It's hard to sleep with all the noise. But it's kind of great in the same way
