Negativ:: Meine ganze Gruppe wurden krank vom Essen.

Positiv:: Alles, was man braucht. Das Personal war freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Das beste Essen in der DR. der Likör war erstklassig und tolle, saubere Strände.

Negativ:: Alles war wunderbar. Keine Beschwerden!

Positiv:: Das Resort war sehr sauber, gut gepflegt und wunderschön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Buffet mit Meeresfrüchten war sehr beliebt.

Negativ:: Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten, Reservierungen für das Abendessen zu machen, wo wir hingehen wollten, und günstige Zeiten zu bekommen. Auf der Hinterseite hätten wir uns per E-Mail für die Vorantritte melden können, aber wir hatten keine Ahnung, dass das eine Option war. Oder dass es nötig wäre.

Positiv:: Das Personal ist einzigartig. Sie sind offen für ihre Wünsche und sind sehr freundlich.

Negativ:: Nichts.

Positiv:: Großartiges Essen im Vergleich zu anderen Resorts in DR.

Negativ:: Einige der Barkeeper waren abfällig.

Positiv:: Top all-inclusive Hotel, Essen auch auf 5 Sterne Niveau.

Positiv:: Everything. Amazing

Positiv:: The property is absolutely stunning. Everything from the grounds, to the pools, the architecture, and just the decor and attention to detail is beautiful. It is always pristine and the staff is constantly walking around picking up any empty glasses, etc. It was easily the most beautiful hotel/resort I’ve ever seen or stayed at.

Negativ:: I can’t think of anything negative to say about this property. It was beautiful.

Positiv:: The hotel architecture and grounds are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! The staff is friendly, efficient, and extremely accommodating! Every staff member we encountered (from check-in to housekeeping to the wait staff and kitchen, our Butler, the activities coordinators, barstaff, daily cleaning, groundskeepers and everyone in between) always had a smile on their face and positive attitude. This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort and we truly did not know what to expect, but everyone exceeded our expectations and did everything to make our stay that much more special! Love that we were upgraded to a swim-out suite upon our arrival. It was an added bonus to an already spectacular vacation! And yes, we did enjoy several days of R&R at our private pool side patio after an afternoon at the main pool or beach! It was gloriously relaxing! While we did not take advantage of them all, the hotel offers a number of daily activities and nightly entertainment in the theater and on the galleon.

Negativ:: The specialty restaurants were not our favorites, and we personally found the food in the buffets consistently better in flavor, selection, and quality. It was odd to travel to the Dominican Republic to find specialty restaurants along the lines of Japanese (which was hibachi, and the best specialty meal overall), Italian, French/Gourmet, and to NOT have lobster available at the Surf & Turf and La Playa restaurants (though prominently listed on the menu).

Positiv:: Just a Beautiful Hotel. The food great, the staff even better. Would definitely come back.

Positiv:: The grounds are landscaped beautifully. All areas are immaculate. What sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single staff member go above and beyond in making sure you vacation is wonderful.

Negativ:: The ala cart restaurants. The menus need a complete make over.

Positiv:: It will be great if there were more English speaking people on staff.

Negativ:: Every thing was great need a t.v. guide for the room and a newspaper.

Positiv:: Excelent service, food and clean and beautiful environment

Negativ:: The only thing I did not like was that the ocean water at the beach was not clean and clear due to the season

Positiv:: Beautiful property with all of the comforts and fun for a truly memorable vacation - nice room with ocean view and comfortable bedding along with excellent spa/salon, gym, sauna, pools, beach, etc. The "entertainment staff" were OUTSTANDING in every way! (especially "Mini Me", Adrien, Gasolina, Yocairi). Shows were high quality and fun. Restaurant staff and poolside waitresses were all very professional, friendly, fun, and attentive (wonderful service!) and the meals/food at each of the restaurants and the buffets were delicious!!

Negativ:: The male bartender at the large poolside bar was unfriendly and rude. We kept hoping he would have a day off, but no luck throughout our 9 days. Our "full-time butler" was only seen on the first day and a half....then gone! Finally found out from the head butler that there was a scheduling issue and we regained butler service for our last 2 days. Front desk staff were polite and friendly but poorly trained (took too long to get information/change). Requests made by phone to the Concierge were never completed (opening of a bottle of wine - 4 requests over 7 days; robes for the room; additional body lotion; additional washcloths, items for the mini-bar). Room service menu as limited - although service was good, food was mediocre at best. Photo shop staff were rarely available during "business hours" and quite unfriendly.

Positiv:: I really enjoyed the service from butlers, housekeeping, restaurant servers, front desk all was very pleasant and professional.

Negativ:: In restaurants more vegetarian options could have been better.

Positiv:: Loved the attentive and pleasant hotel personnel. Impeccable grounds and facilities. Incredible beach.

Negativ:: A/C in room went out a couple times. Butler set-up is confusing as it isn't clear who is in charge. Supervisor/waitress at the Galleon.

Positiv:: Me and my family liked everything, the food, the entertainment, pool , beach , people

Positiv:: Fantasia resort is really a Fantasia :-) There you have everything what you need for an unforgettable holiday! Beautiful resort, beautiful beach, beautiful pool, nice restaurants, good food, a la carte restaurants included in all-inclusive, good cocktails (!, not very usual in all inclusive resorts), very friendly staff, always smiling, nice water park for children, very nice shows in the evening (specially the Michael Jackson show), perfect service with the electric train driving you everywhere, one restaurant for lunch also situated directly on the beach, very good drinks served on your sunbed on the beach, when you call the reception to ask something (or ask something through a perfect application installed on your mobile phone on your arrival) in few moments is somebody in your room to bring what you asked. With this very usefull application you can have every day on your mobile phone all information you need, daily program of activities, book your table for the dinner in a-la-carte restaurants... I can write more and more, etc., etc ... but in few words: there you have everything what you need for an unforgettable holiday! Thank you Fantasia Bahia Principe, we hope we'll be back!!!

Negativ:: Just a little complaint about the kids club ... It is very nice and very good equipped, but the staff there is not so perfect as all other staff. They are also ok, nothing so bad to say, but not so friendly as everywhere in the resort. Specially because their job is working with children, you expect they will be very friendy specially with children, but the staff everywhere is more friendly with children than the staff in kids club. They also don't do to much activities with the children and don't accept children under 4 years. But this is also not so big problem, because there are many, many nice things for children as waterpark, play grounds, activities in the pool, etc ...!

Positiv:: For the kids is basically a dream come true. The castle is amazing and all the kids activity and different places they can go is a plus. We highly recommend de hotel for a family vacation.

Negativ:: The artificial drink is really bad. I think the hotel is killing the full enjoyment by serving such a bad cuality drink. It was horrible. We paid a high amount of money trying to find a good cuality resort.

Positiv:: Friendly staff. Very professional managers. Delsislava assisted us with lost and found

Negativ:: Das Personal hat uns kurz vor der Abreise Kleider und Schmuck meiner Frau gestohlen. Eine Reklamation nach derer Ankunft zu Hause war bisher nicht möglich. Etliche Telefonate usw. Keiner zuständig!

Positiv:: The Staff and food were amazing. I felt totally pampered and relaxed. I loved the private pools and cabanas.

Positiv:: The resort was beautiful! You are right next to the beautiful beach, you have many dining options and lots of bars. The room is just lovely (we had a junior suite). The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our Butler, Randy, was incredible! He was available 24/7 to us and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. The resort always had activities from fitness to partying.

Positiv:: The variety of Restaurants themes. It got restaurants of different types of food.

Negativ:: Everything was awesome.

Negativ:: Our butler was so intuitive she told us about all her problems and even invited herself to eat dinner in our room with us which intruded with our vacation time she ordered lobster and other thing to eat from room service I don’t want this to happen to anyone else we all have our own problems we needed this vacation to rest

Positiv:: Nice room, clean, good swimming pool and beach Turquesa restaurants were of good quality

Negativ:: Restaurants out of Turquesa were so bad, catastrophic service, italian dishes were so horrible. You have to book to eat while there is never anyone in the restaurants. Difficult to rent a car. There are not enough activities

Positiv:: The staff and grounds were wonderful!

Negativ:: The water was not what I felt was advertised. Not very clear and lots of sea weed. Also, no working atm on property. Put our group in a very hard place.

Positiv:: We just loved the FOOD! OMG! It was so good, so tasty and well presented! Lobster was just good, no matter where you try it. The attentions of the staff and the drinks! They gave us a free upgrade and got a huge suite! No back noises, no bad deals. From the first moment we step in, we were treated as royalty!

Negativ:: Room service was a bit slow.

Positiv:: I love the location and cleanliness of the property

Negativ:: The beach is always crowded and no where to sit

Positiv:: The facilities are lovely and well maintained. There's an appropriate distance between TRS adults only and the other facilities in the Palladium complex.

Negativ:: There was a DV incident that occurred in the suite above ours for several hours (including the woman finally screaming 911 at the top of her lungs) that my husband and I ended up responding to because security didn't show up for a full 10 minutes, even after I called reception repeatedly AND ended up running to the lobby for help - it took 5 more minutes for them to arrive by which time my husband had managed to calm the couple down somewhat and I supported the going woman and acted as interpreter for security. The next day, we submitted a full report at the front desk and waited all day for someone from management to come speak to us to acknowledge and apologize for the lack of security response. That didn't happen until 8 hours later, And when it did, it was a woefully inadequate response. To add insult to injury, the couple that caused all the ruckus was allowed to remain in the room, were sent a gift basket and were stomping around and arguing again the following night! I've reported this to the Palladium Group corporate headquarters and Booking.com but want other potential guests to be aware.

Positiv:: Service is impeccable. This is a truly unique property. Secluded, private and set up perfectly. I never come back to same place on vacation in general....this is my third time with no regrets.

Negativ:: Meals are expensive and high taxes.

Positiv:: Von diesem Hotel bin ich maßgeblich begeistert. Die Suiten in den Villen sind richtig luxuriös eingerichtet und werden auch jeden Morgen und jeden Abend saubergemacht und vorbereitet. Die Lage ist wundervoll, mit direkter Lage am karibischen Strand. Der hoteleigene Pool und Whirlpool sind genau im Zentrum des Hotelkomplexes und direkt an der Bar, einfach klasse. Das hauseigene Restaurant übertrifft alle Erwartungen. Der Service und das gesamte Personal sind immer hilfsbereit und nett. Man fühlt sich dort richtig wohl. Es ist also wahrlich ein Traum dort seinen Urlaub zu verbringen.

Positiv:: The staff was incredibly friendly and the VIP service through customs was the best thing ever. We were on the beach 15 minutes after de-boarding the plane. The villas are gorgeous and little details throughout the property like the orchids everywhere are such nice extras. Having access to a golf cart and bikes was key! We loved exploring the entire property, especially the Ojos Indigenas ecological reserve. The sunrises are gorgeous every morning and my husband loved all the great golf nearby!

Negativ:: The food is not five star food but it's still pretty good. Also, the beaches are great but the white cages out in the ocean to keep the seaweed out do ruin the vista just slightly. But much better than having seaweed on the beach!

Positiv:: The room was beautiful and very comfortable~we had separate his & her bathrooms which was a real treat! The staff were super attentive and the VIP airport service was second to none. Emmanuel was a fabulous host and brought a big smile to my face each morning at the incredible breakfast buffet at Bamboo! We will definitely return!

Negativ:: There was nothing not to like!

Positiv:: We loved everything; excellent service, beautiful rooms, yummy food, amazing golf courses all around. We will definitely return. Thank you Tortuga bay for everything.

Positiv:: Everything was perfect and above expectations: - the bedroom was huge, 2 bathrooms, a big terrace, a small kitchen, always clean - the quality of service is amazing! I’ve never seen that anywhere else: from the VIP arrival, to the beach, the restaurant, housekeeping, the driver, your private villa manager. - the hotel doesn’t have a lot of rooms, you feel really relaxed, you’re almost alone on the beach or at the pool. It’s exactly what we were looking for.

Negativ:: - they’re doing all they can to remove the sargassum seaweed. You still have some, but it’s way way better compared to other resorts in Punta cana or in the Caribbean. There’s no problem to swim in the sea.

Positiv:: The staff at Tortuga Bay was excellent.The problem was with the beach which was in the middle of a sea weed invasion.Although the staff made heroic attempts to clean the beach the problem was at that time over whelming.I intend to return to Tortuga bay but would appreciate a discount on the price if there are problems with the facility.

Negativ:: Beach conditions

Positiv:: The level of service was fantastic, from start to the end. Everyone was super nice, and taking care of us at every second - from the chaffeur to the restaurant, to the villa manager to the reception or the beach assistance. The room was really large with nice colonial furniture, two large balconies, and large marble bathroom. We ate at the restaurant Bamboo few times for lunch and once for dinner - food was great as well as the service Overall a fantastic experience and would seriously recommend Tortuga Bay to anyone!

Negativ:: only the beach, despite not being the worst season and the constant effort of cleaniness, had some algae, but was manageable

Negativ:: Internet sehr langsam, Haussystem könnte verbessert werden.

Positiv:: Our luxury suite was amazing had our own private pool and golf buggy to get around in. The Acqua di Parma toilettes were a lovely touch in the bathroom and outside shower. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Carlos and Abi really went above an beyond to make us feel at home. The golf course was absolutely beautiful. The food in the Peruvian / Japanese restaurant was on par with roka an Zuma. The beach restaurants settings were breathe taking.

Negativ:: We went in the low season so it was a little quiet for a young couple. But I was told this was due to the time of year an it is busier in the high season. Some of the staff found it hard to understand our English so some food orders got messed up. Service was slightly slow some times whilst ordering drinks on the beach. Even so we will still be returning in January :)

Positiv:: Nice location and beach

Negativ:: 1300$ a night but broken toilet, broken fridge, Jacuzzi not working, only 5min of hot water. We complained but they did nothing. they are just here to take your money. And after the check out was done and we already left they took 150$ more without explanation.

Positiv:: Wer eine top Unterkunft, Ruhe, gutes Essen (kein Buffetessen), Traumstrand, wenig Leute und einen erstklassigen Golfplatz gleich nebenan sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht.

Negativ:: Wie leider in vielen Luxus Resorts, hat es auch beim Eden Roc Klimaanlagen, Elektroverteiler und Pool-Pumpen die so laut sind, dass es keinen Spass mehr macht in der Villa draussen die Ruhe zu geniessen. In der Preisklasse sollte man es erwarten können, das dieses Problem (Geräusch Smog) mit oberster Prio angegangen wird. Daher sicherstellen, dass man eine Villa hat, wo das nicht der Fall ist bzw. man es abstellen kann. Wir konnten wechseln (mussten aber die Pumpe und Kilmaanlage abstellen wenn wir in der Villa draussen sassen) Es wurde uns vom Management versichert, dass man das Probelm angeht.

Positiv:: How quiet and peaceful it was for a relaxing getaway

Negativ:: Vom Empfang bis zur Abreise eine riesengrosse Enttäuschung. Zimmer nicht sauber, Reinigung unregelmässig. Privater Pool alt und nicht gereinigt. Essen in den Restaurants unterirdisch. Frühstück im Restaurant Blue war jeine grosse Auswahl und Vögel stibitzten alles von vollen Tellern welche nicht abgeräumt wurden weg. Management war nicht zu sehen, alle Mitarbeiter entschuldigten sich im Stundentakt aber besser wurde es nicht. Lieber nicht mehr in diesem Leben.

Positiv:: Die Pools waren super! Sehr schön und sehr sauber. Die Aussicht auf den Strand war wunderschön. Die Zimmer waren schön und wurden gut gereinigt. Viele tolle Aktivitäten für die gesamte Familie.

Negativ:: Das Essen war entweder sehr gut oder sehr schlecht. Das war das einzige, was mittelmäßig war in diesem Urlaub.

Positiv:: Das Spa war großartig!!! Mein Mann und ich kauften eine Paarmassage und es war toll.

Negativ:: Es wäre schön gewesen, an den Poolbars Essen zu bekommen, anstatt zu den Hauptgebäuden zu gehen, in denen sich alle Restaurants befinden, einschließlich der 24-Stunden-Imbissbar. Wir waren ein anständiger Spaziergang von diesen entfernt und es war ärgerlich, dass wir so weit gehen mussten, um nur einen Snack zu machen. Manchmal war auch ein Teil des Barpersonals ziemlich schnörkellos.

Positiv:: Huldigung

Negativ:: schrecklicher Internet Service würde deswegen nicht wieder hier übernachten Viele Sachen ohne Geschmack

Positiv:: alles ist in der Nähe. lokale ist neu.

Negativ:: Zimmerservice ist nicht gut. und auch Handtücher alt. geben sie nur 0ne Tag unsere 1 Handtücher für 4 Leute.

Positiv:: Everything is well thought of in this place, the design, the rooms, the Pools, the staff. Everyone is so friendly and everything so clean, food was delicious, and even the excursions were very thrilling.

Negativ:: The price... it very well values it, but I would definitely come back but want t being my kids, but price doubles for my kids, there should be some special especially for returning customers.

Positiv:: Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. Great splash pool for kids! Very good buffet. Great night entertainment/shows.

Negativ:: They did not accept cash of any sort (ie: USD nor Dominican Pesos); so needed to use credit card. Cash only used for tipping staff.

Positiv:: Really close to downtown Punta Cana. Rooms are nice it was a junior room and had a Jacuzzi. Excelent price- quality option

Positiv:: Good installations, personnel very kind at the restaurants and beach/pool services

Negativ:: Noisy place, we were walked-up 8 days out of 12 by clock alarms in the neighboring rooms or by drunk guests. Other guests do not show any respect for others, they arrive at midnight or later making a lot of noise. We found roaches walking over the tables in the buffet, a not very pleasant experience. Personnel in the customer service office not very kind, it seems they dont like complains.

Negativ:: Everything is too far from bedrooms and there are only 2 trains, and both train stop just in a few places.

Positiv:: I enjoyed the food, the variety of tropical fruits and juices, the ice cream. Loved the japanese restaurant. The pools and water park was very nice! The view of the coconut trees and the sea is beautiful! The staff is friendly, but most of them smille litlle. A place I recommend, it's worth going!

Negativ:: I did not like the italian restaurant. The quality of the food leaves something to be desired, but the service of the staff is very good!

Positiv:: Pool options for kids really good. Spanish and Japanese restaurants of very good quality

Negativ:: Average customer service sometimes really bad. Concierge the worst Cockroaches and many mosquitoes in the rooms ( I took pictures ) Toilet totally dirty and stained, it took a day for maintenance. Buffette food average sometimes not good.

Positiv:: Food was great. The hotel was entertaining.

Negativ:: The beach

Positiv:: Breakfast excellent, personal very nice!

Negativ:: Lunch time, personal very busy, I think they need more people at lunch time.

Positiv:: Grounds were very nice and room was clean.

Negativ:: Check in was a nighmare.... total chaos. Food was Extremely salty. Internet very sparse and only strong IN the casino. Family side was Grossly crowded (no fault of the property) but couldn't enjoy the pool or amenities.

Positiv:: The hotel is great the facility's Beautiful the staff it's amazing entertaining very good, food is very good the service is pretty pretty nice. Very nice people.

Negativ:: I didn't like the room the bathroom was moldy and the room had humidity smell the AC wasn't working properly either at midnight was really hot in the room. My kids room was bathroom okay but the humidity smell crazy

Negativ:: Essen auf Dauer eintönig, das Essen in den Restaurants ist besser, aber die Anzahl der Essensmöglichkeiten in den Restaurants ist begrenzt. Das typische "reservieren" der Liegestühle am Pool- und Strandbereich. Die Liegen sind u.U. stundenlang nicht benutzt aber blockiert für Leute, die im Moment gerade eine Liege suchen. Überhöhte Taxipreise vom Flughafen zum Hotel (40 Dollar für knapp 10 Minuten Fahrt)

Positiv:: Pools, food, people, beaches

Positiv:: Poolanlage und Hotelanlage sind schön. Japanisches Restaurant war sehr gut. Animationsprogramm ist gut. Essen war allgemein sehr gut.

Negativ:: Keine frischen Fruchtsäfte. Bei Ankunft erhielt man keine Infos über Hotelanlage, Events, etc. Personal wirkt zum Teil gelangweilt oder übermüdet. Punta Cana Strand ist ok. Mir fehlen jedoch die Palmen am Strand. Karibik feeling fehlt. Musik gefiel mir nicht. Lateinamerika hat so wunderschöne Musik und wahre Künstler. Gespielt wurde praktisch nur 'Bumbum' Musik. Zimmer war bei Ankunft nicht wirklich sauber geputzt. Bei late check-out zahlt man pro Stunde 20.00 Dollar!!!

Positiv:: The people was very friendly. The drinks was great and good was awesome.

Negativ:: The room was dirty and the pillow was extremely dirty with awful smell. I could post pictures!

Positiv:: The place was paradise with great entertainment throughout the entire resprt for all ages! The beach , sand, tiki huts, pool areas , dining, bars were always clean!The beach water was clear , warm, and the landscaping was remarkable! The dining, cleaning, bar and entertainment staff are all hard working. I met alot of new wonderful friendly staff! I felt safe with security guards just about every corner driving around or in a designated area. The resort was like its own city. It had just about everything. Only time I left it was to enjoy a water tour which I purchased from their resort site. I did 3 water excursions and 1 Mega Truck. I could have opted out of the Mega Truck, but the catamaran excursions and water tours were the best!! I plan on going back to bring the rest of my family, so that they could experience this beautiful island of wonderful, kind, people. Again, the beaches were all clean , water super clear, and the sand area were always cleaned and maintained ! The food options were great with dif restaurants to please and the buffet dishes were delicious! We are spoiled there! Inclusive forsure! I will be back nxt yr!

Negativ:: I do recommend more customer service training for the desk reception staff and pool towel handler, because quite a few times I was disappointed with how they are handling a few matters. I did notice that a lot of their staff worked long hours. I could only imagine what their hours are for thrir shift and the exhaustion that they had to have feltI, but even if they were tired, they were smiling and very friendly ! I do want to add that occasionally I bumped into random small vendors on the resort trying to sell and a few of them were a bit annoying only because they try sell a bit aggressively. The resort should advice them not to hound their guest once we say no to the sale. Another thing they could work on is having more staff for cleaning rooms. They were never available to replenish the missing items. I would call to request items and they did not replace until the room was cleaned late afternoon.In their defense, I did notice that they did not have enough staff to help with that. If they hired more staff in that area , it would be helpful for them! Oh I almost forgot! I enjoy my drinks, but I was unable to really enjoy them there, because they were either too strong or way too sweet. A few time I scored with a good bartender with tasty drinks by someone who knew how to measure up. Hopefully , they could get better bartenders in time for my next visit haha! All of these things are fixable!

Positiv:: Great beach, long, clean and swimmable. Lots of seating.

Negativ:: Nothing, the place is wonderful for families with children.

Positiv:: The staff were Amazing... The care taken of the grounds was exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable with an Amazing view. Would Highly recommend this wonderful resort and wouldn't hesitate to return.... Did I mention that the staff were Amazing?

Negativ:: The food could use an update but there was a huge selection and I'm very picky so it's not entirely their fault.

Positiv:: The beach was nice. The room and other areas were clean and well maintained. The food was good, there was not a lot of variety but it was good and there were good options. Since they share the property with the Iberostar Punta Cana, there are four buffet restaurant, two of them near the beach and this was so nice. The service from the staff was great! I liked Rhina and Mercedes at the bar, and Ginny from reception who helped me check in The bell boy Francisco, helped me get on the right transportation (and free of cost), to go to the bus station to Santo Domingo. Oh, and they had wifi all throughout the property, this was great!

Negativ:: The air conditioner was very noisy. This did not bother me since I left it on while I was out of the room and then by the time to sleep, I would turn it off. However, it might be a complain for other guests. The room was not ready when I arrived around 3pm. I was able to check in and get some food and drinks, however, I would have liked to get to a room and get ready to go out. But Ginny helped and got that sorted out quickly. These things would not deter me to go back again, though.

Negativ:: Spezialitäten Restaurants lassen zu wünschen übrig. Schlechterer Service und Aufmerksamkeit als beim Buffet Restaurant. Insgesamt sind die diversen Animationsprogramme viel zu laut. Keine Chance sich zu verständigen. Etwas leiser, dezenter würde es auch tun. Baulärm beim Pool ging früh morgens los und dauerte zeitweise bis fast 19.30 an. So nicht schön und keine Freude auf dem Balkon zu sitzen und nicht genießen zu können. Personal von der Reception teilweise eher desinteressiert.

Positiv:: This was our first experience staying at an all-inclusive. We were at the tail-end of our honeymoon and decided to treat ourselves. We had already driven around much of the country and stayed at three other places. It was a bit surprising that upon our arrival, a lot of the staff didn't speak English. Luckily, we speak enough Spanish to get by. I think it's probably rare for non-natives to drive into this place without some type of guide. So, it took about an hour from the time we drove into the entrance to when we got into our room. This place was really great. I'd say if you're looking for a super lazy vacation, this is the place for you. The pool was giant, and the drinks were never-ending. We also took a kayak into the ocean. At the ground level of our room, there is also a butler. Our butler checked up on us the day after we got there and the next day we ended up chatting with him and having a really great conversation with him. Basilio was really friendly!

Negativ:: They have photos of people SUPing on the website--this service was not available, and when we asked some staff about it, they didn't know what we were talking about. With a bit more conversation with a couple of staff, they let us know that they no longer offer stand up paddle boarding because people were getting hurt, going to the hospital, getting handed a bill for $2k-3k, and then requesting the resort pay for it. Another activity that is advertised but not offered is bicycles. Kind of disappointing because these were two activities that we really wanted to take advantage of. Before our stay, I let them know we would be on our honeymoon, and a couple of days before we arrived, I received an email saying they'd be asking for our marriage certificate as proof of our marriage (??). Kind of weird, but who travels with their marriage certificate? And most people leave right after their wedding, which leaves no time to even get an official marriage certificate. We asked the front desk about it, and they seemed a little resistant to give us our "special gift," but in the end they did. We were not necessarily expecting a special gift, but what a hassle to receive a sash on the door, and 6 little pieces of chocolate.

Positiv:: The property felt safe, clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. Always readily available to assist when any issues arise.

Negativ:: The property should consider extending the pool hours. It closes way too early (@7pm). They should also have more fun activities (better shows, better entertainment)

Positiv:: The staff is super nice. Both hotel itself and the area around are gorgeous! The food at the specialty restaurants is great (but get reservations early).

Negativ:: The design of the bathrooms is very strange: there are no doors or walls! The resort appears to run out of hot water after 7pm every day. Also there’s a thermostat in the room but it doesn’t matter what buttons you push - nothing changes.

Positiv:: Ambar was amazing! Beautiful rooms and ambience. Staff was great!! Awesome service!! The Ambar spa was incredible.

Negativ:: While Ambar was beautiful the other sections such as Esmeralda were dated. The a la carte restaurants on that side were not great and decor dated. While most staff were wonderful a few were very sullen and short with the customers.

Positiv:: The service, the food, the beach... specially our buttler Victor who helped with everything

Negativ:: I didn't like the feelling of strictness. For example: In ambar breakfast starts at 7 until 10:30. One day we went on excursion and it started at 7:30 in bahia principe lobby. In ambar they told us we could eat at bahia principe as well if we dont have time to have breakfast at ambar. We went at 7am to bahia principe but they didn't let us to have breakfast because they had breakfast for others until 7am. And there own breakfast started at 7. So that day we didn't got breakfast because we didn't know all the rules... Then we ordered a taxi but again more complications...

Positiv:: The location, the cleanliness, the room, and the staff . Wow absolutely coming back

Positiv:: Private pool was lovely, beachside walks at sunset, swim up bar, excellent all inclusive buffets, coffee & cakes, some lovely meals in the restaurants, pool & gym facilities were great, free sailing!

Negativ:: We moved rooms to a quieter side of the building to get some privacy but staff were quick to help. The beachfront loungers were bagged either the night before or before 6.30am, never worked out how to get one! Cocktails were variable quality but i'm really picking faults now, we had an excellent and relaxing stay.

Positiv:: Upon arriving we were welcomed by the staff in an extremely friendly manner. We arrived earlier than check in and wanted to do an excursion while we waited. The staff directed us to a representative and secured our luggage until we returned. The food was out of this world amd the buffet had an amazing selection. Our room was spotless and at the perfect temperature. Any questions we had were answered right away, and all of our needs were taken care of in a very expedient manner. Would absolutely recommend this resort and will he visiting again when we have the opportunity.

Positiv:: Villa room size is very big with a beautiful layout that allows the sun to wake you up in your excessively big, very comfortable bed. Restaurant dinners were nice and service was Tom notch. Three honourable mentions here : Jose Espinal our concierge was extremely friendly and looked after us that we have all the activities we need and all evening dinners booked; he just made the whole stay wonderful. Two other staff that impressed us with both their English and good conversations and friendship are Alex and Santo at the Pool Bar. Amazing people with good banter and good secret recipe cocktail recipes - for the whole duration of our stay we always ended the days at the pool bar because of this, before retreating to our rooms to get ready for dinner. If you want a cocktail you never tried before ask Alex for the Alex special.

Negativ:: We had a bad start of our stay when we were stopped at the gate by the security as we drive to the resort and kept there for more or less 5 minutes for checks phone calls to reception etc, even though I showed the security guard my booking.com reservation on my phone - it felt more like a maximum security prison than a 5 star resort. This was raised with customer relations and handled very professionally and am happy how swiftly they tried to make things right.

Wir haben viele andere Paare kennen gelernt, die schon viele Male davor da waren. Strand war fantastisch und der Sand war sehr weich. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen!

Positiv:: Dies ist eines der besten Resorts, in denen ich je gewesen bin. Es war wunderschön, sauber und das Personal war großartig. Wir haben bereits über die Rückkehr im nächsten Jahr gesprochen.

Positiv:: Einfach wunderschön! Der Hauptpool war riesig und so gab es so viel Platz. Der Strand war sehr lang.

Negativ:: Sie benötigen einen Luftentfeuchter für einige der Zimmer.

Positiv:: Beautiful resort and grounds. We had a swim out unit that was wonderful so we were right next to the pool. The staff was very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. I liked the beds because they did not have a pillow top. The restaurants were very good and you have lots of choices. We came to relax and that was what we did. One time my husband went to pick up his towel from his chair and take it back and the employee told him that was his job to put the towel in the laundry and my husband was on vacation and to enjoy it. We were very happy with our accommodations. They have activities if you chose to participate. The pool is like a long lagoon and the rooms surround it. We chose to be in the Excellence Club and felt it was worth the money. We were in Building 7 which was close to the restaurants, main lobby and pool so we liked the location.

Negativ:: The sand on the beach is hard to walk on and your feet sink in. It is very fine sand and not packed down. The entertainment is good but not great but that is not what we came for. You have to reserve your pool chair early in the morning and some people would put towels down and never come the entire day. I think the staff should monitor that.

Negativ:: Slow wifi. Sometimes unable get get coffee or water when dining.

Positiv:: We were there to celebrate our anniversary. The room was nicely set up with champagne, fruit, etc. Several food options. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the swim-up bar. Very comfortable "bed-style" lounges on the beach.

Negativ:: The pool closes ridiculously early (6pm). Although the ones you were able to find were friendly, there was not a lot of staff around. It seems that unless you're in the Excellence Club (which costs more) you don't have anyone to help you with a beach chair or to take orders while you're on the beach. Had to set up our own pool and beach lounges, had to go into a room to get towel myself, etc. The facilities are a little shabby/worn. For example, the jacuzzi tub in our room appears to be pretty old.

Positiv:: Great service. Beautiful accommodations and grounds. Beach was long, clean and deep, with plenty of chairs. Pool also had many chairs. Food was very good. We've been to other AI in PC and this is still the best.

Negativ:: Absolutely nothing

Positiv:: The place was a higher quality than most of the resorts in Punta Cana but only slightly higher cost. It was clean, food seemed a little better and staff was friendly.

Negativ:: As far as the all inclusive part, they could have more activities. Also I always hate dressing up in long pants and long sleeve shirt when it's 95° out (we were even told for one restaurant we needed a coat so we skipped it). For casual dining food is very limited. My biggest complaint is the beds flat out hurt. They room was beautiful but I couldnt get a good night sleep because the bed left my back in pain.

Negativ:: Electrics issues with spotty power on last day prompted us to check out early. Food was decent but wish there were more space at the specialty restaurants.

Positiv:: The breakfast was just amazing, what a selection of food !!! I have to mentioned Angela, Marilyn and Hector from the preffered beach, their service was just outstanding! We felt so welcome every day by them! I have to also mention Leonardo who looked after us in a very special manner ! He is an absolute gentleman!

Negativ:: The shows at the theater were disappointing, the spa was only ok (no cold water for hydrotherapy and steam room was unbearably hot), massage was fantastic though.

Special thanks to these guys who made our stay funnier: Mr Cappuccino, Edi Merphy, The cat Mini me And all the funny entertainment team. Also, there is a wifi everywhere, even in the middle of the sea (haha, not obvious...). Thanks for the best hotel stay EVER! We will be back for sure :)

Positiv:: The property is located in a quiet and beautiful area. Not fully developed but peaceful and tranquil. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The recreation staff offered lots of fun activities and the food at all the restaurants was excellent. A good variety.

Negativ:: A lot of attention was given to the notion of a “ Personal butler” before and after I arrived. I celebrated a birthday and I thought something would be done. It was almost as if my “ butler” forgot and at dinner when another person was being celebrated he asked me if I wanted the same thing. Of course, NOT. You really don’t need that person as there are only 2 restaurants you need reservations. You can do that on your own. The property is also not really on a beach but an inlet but there are plenty of pools and they offer a day excursion to a beach free to guests.

Positiv:: Loved the small intimate size of the resort. The staff is top notch and bent over backwards to please. Has an European feel and the food was good. Fusion restaurant experience was over the top.

Negativ:: Wifi in lobby was spotty, not much to do at night. I felt pressured to tip. No real beach but lots of pools. We paid for ocean view and only saw a tiny peek of one. I would return and recommend it to everyone.

Negativ:: The beach was not nice, maybe 100 yards long and too much seaweed. The Spectrum sales party was a real hinderance on our stay and they basically took over the resort and pool area.

Positiv:: Our honeymoon trip was simply perfection. Everything was stunningly beautiful, buildings and views alike! The food was excellent, and the staff and service were unforgettable. Henry, Eduardo, Genesis, Chocolate, Maria, Diana, and all the beach bar staff and servers made everything so special for us. They did everything they could to make our stay amazing - and it was! Would go back in a heart beat!

Positiv:: 1. The architecture of the resort is very pretty and we liked it very much. The garden is also well maintained. The resort is quite big, but it is not overwhelming. Close to this resort is the second one, we decided to visit it Sancturary is much better The Sanctuary Punta Cana is not overwhelming at all. Also, the way how the restaurants look is very elegant and nice for the eye. 2. Our room was very bright, we had a nice view, it was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very good. The bath and the shower, both were in the bathroom. We liked it a lot. 3. The beach is small, but it is quite well supplied. There are many sunbeds with umbrelas (unfortunately not enough), a few double beds with baldahims and few cubes, we loved the cubes! Disadvantage - people booked sunbeds very early in the morning, leaving towels / books / liquids, we did not like it, but after first day we had to do the same, otherwise, we would have the sunbeds in full sun. The worst part of it was - most of the sunbeds were really not used by people, becuase they only left their belongings and then disappeared... The men work really hard there to clean the beach from the algaes. The beach is really clean. BTW, at some point there were a problem with water... the resort should do something with that. When we took a trip with a helicopter, we saw from the air that dark almost black, dirty liquid affects the water in the resort. That liquid was coming from site of Villa's. Honestly, it looked disgusting. -- is it a pity, because the beach is really nice. 4. The staff is kind and helpful with a very "American" mentality - most of the guests like it because they were Americans. However, in the past we stayed in places (in Mexico and Bali), where the hospitality training was much better. Sometimes I felt that the staff was too carefree. 5. Very close to the hotel is a public Juanillo beach. It is worth seeing.

Negativ:: 1. The biggest disadvantage was the quality of FOOD. The most tasty of course was local food and see food - always fresh. However, it is obvious that when you stay longer time, you need to have more options. The problem was it was not very good. Once I took chicken, it was dried completely. There is small choice of salads... eating so much meat is not healthy and it is heavy. Also, I was under impression that some ingredients like dressings to dishes are used in each restaurants to different dishes, which makes me think about it... does it mean these souses are not prepared in the hotel but ordered in giant butles and full of conservants? Hamburgers on the grill were very bad quality. We ordered once room service, this was not very good too. I personally liked the most steakhouse, however, the portions are ridiculous and it is waste of meat. We ordered steak for 2, it was giant, the same for chocolate suffle. Such a waste. WOK restaurant was the worst experience. Ramen soup was nothing like real ramen, and it was served with ICE-SALAT! There were no bok-choi, even though it is mentioned in the menu! Seriously? You think people are so unaware of what they eat? 2. When we arrived a person who checked us in, immediately tried to sell us the upgrade of the room. We didn't like it, as we were after 12h travel and the only thing we wanted to do was going to bed. I made a small comment about this, but this person didn't get it. The staff should be trained better to recognise such needs. 3. I felt like people work there too long and it was visible on their faces. I saw one lady during breakfast and dinner, every day 7 days with no break in between. I hope this is legal. 4. We participated food show in fusion restaurant, the show was very positive but at the end of it the staff fed guests with dessert, the female-staff fed men, the male-staff fed women. I found it very sexual and unappropriate. 5. WIFI still to be improved - slow and not always available.

Negativ:: Concierge services really disorganize, missed my transfer and confirmed after I had already checked in. Wanted to charge me later (didn't even know they didn't do the service). As a all inclusive, food ins't really good and service is only granted upon tipping alot.

Room service went above and beyond to accommodate my vegan green eating approached to breakfast. I was and am grateful. They even followed up after it was delivered to ensure it was satisfactory!!! I enjoyed the spa as well... Simply lovely. I will return.

Die Speisekarte mit dem freundlichen Hiweis auf zusätzliche Steuern etc, die nicht in den Preisen enthalten sind ist sehr irreführend, da bräuchte man glatt einen Taschenrechner, um die Übersciht zu behalten, die Rechnung danach ist dafür umso deutlicher. Kein kostenloser Shuttle Service zum Flughafen, nur teures Taxi (20 Euro für 5 km)

Positiv:: Pros I loved staying at Majestic Elegance. It exceeded my expectations. - The beautiful plants and flowers around the resort were nice to see. - The customer service was excellent! Everyone greeted you with a smile and an Hola! and they offered to help with any question or concern. - The entertainment was great. I specifically enjoyed the Michael Jackson presentation. Thought it was fun to watch. - I loved the 24 hour room service. My husband and I used it a few times when we didn't feel like going to the buffet or restaurants. - The food wasn't that great but at the buffet we did enjoy a few dishes such as the pizza, fries, lasagna, the fruit, salad. That's pretty much what I ate because everything else didn't taste good. - We loved the steak house restaurant. The food was a lot better than the buffet food. - We enjoyed the pools. They're very big and wasn't crowded. My husband loved the swim up bar. - We loved getting up early in the morning to take a walk on the beach. The view was beautiful and the sounds of the waves were peaceful and serene.

Negativ:: Cons - We didn't have hot water to shower with for three nights. The water was luke warm. After the three nights, the water was hot for the rest of our stay. - We didn't have cable TV for three nights either. I guess it was due to the rain but we didn't care that it was off because we stayed out of the room most of the time. - The internet was slow. - My husband wanted more liquor brands at the bar. He didn't drink most of the brands that were there and he wanted more choices to choose from. - The food was pretty bad. Only a few dishes were good but overall it wasn't satisfying.

Positiv:: Everything from the moment we arrived until we left everything was perfect. Every one so friendly don’t believe the negative media this place is super clean and always attentive to your needs. They have everything named brand liquor to their liquor. The food is alright it not the best but it not bad there are lots of options. The resort is huge, elegance club is a nice little extra our butler Dario was the sweetest and always there to answer your questions. The attention given while at the pool or beach was impeccable. The bartender victor at the beach is great and Virginia the waitress is so nice and sweet. Would recommend going here and will plan on returning !!

Positiv:: Beautiful grounds that are relatively easy to navigate. If you’re thinking of booking as adults make sure you go Elegance Club, it was really the piece that pushed the trip over the top. Our butler was always available, booked our dinner reservations, got us late check out and was just available via text for questions.

Negativ:: The spa is a bit of a walk and you end up passing through what appears to be an employee area. Unfortunately our shower did not have hot water, tried to get our butler to look into it which no fix, our trip was quick so we just dealt with it, but that was not ideal.

Positiv:: This was our 9th visit to ME and our last visit was 10/17. Many updates to dining buffet area and cleanliness. We especially liked seeing the serving stations with freshly cooked food by attendant. The food and menus were well above average. The cave ire was a nice touch at the private check in with champagne and appetizers. Our butler was new and that was okay since we knew the place and Juan Fernado did anything we asked he delivered. Was surprised that there were new machines and modern.

Positiv:: The room we stayed has odor and the bathroom has a stain on the wall. We ask the hotel manager to switch the room which we did.The ppl are very nice but the check time takes forever.

Positiv:: After a disastrous check-in, the manager did his best to get us back on track. The gym is nice.

Negativ:: Worst welcoming ever. First room had 2 single bed (for newly weds!) and was over the animation so very noisy. The second room proposed had guests already in. The bell boy had to go back for the right keys for the third and last room, big but grimmy. 30% of the staff is lovely but the rest is not happy and you feel it. 30% are just awful and do not care at all about the service they provide. Reception was constantly busy with unhappy customers, some furious and complaining loudly to the worst staff you can imagine. The food is definitively not 5 stars... 3 at most, even in theme restaurants. We booked Esmeralda when it was adult only but it was not anymore when we arrived. The beach is not the best in Punta cana and the pool is busy with kids and invisible swimmers on sun loungers. If you consider this resort, I strongly recommend Ambar (for adults only) much nicer, calmer and with a staff much more welcoming.

Negativ:: Staff in bungalow was VERY lourd in the morning, yelling from one end of the bungalow to the other (room 67210). I heard other guests in the same bungalow complain about it too. Staff in general was not friendly at all. Drinks at the pool, beach were low quality.

Positiv:: other than those couple of things everything was great the staff is very friendly. great pool and a lot of fun.

Negativ:: check in time can't be from 3pm (mine was at 3.30) and the food at the buffet restaurant should be more rich or different from a day to another

Positiv:: The beach was beautiful. The grounds were well maintained and the pools were also nice.

Negativ:: Disorganized check in. Was shuffled 3 times to other hotels in the complex before coming back to the original booked place. Our room had no working telephone for 3 days despite repeated requests to have it fixed. TV remote was also broken. We both got sick eating the food at the buffet. It seems they leave the food out for long periods of time and the same dishes show up for the dinner that were served at lunch. Other restaurants on the property were all difficult to book reservations despite them being more than half empty every time we went to any of the restaurants. Very loud open hallways that echoed everyone's voices and footsteps. Outdoor entertainment stage is very close to rooms and played very loud music every night until 11:00 . Entertainment was of poor quality only slightly better than high school plays. Hard to communicate with the staff. Most all spoke Spanish with limited English. We left our vacation early and won't be back.

Und das in der ganzen Hotelanlage(5 Hotels einer Gruppe), Zimmer war renovierungsbedürftig und feucht(liegt aber am Klima)

Positiv:: The location of the hotel is very good, the beach, as usual at the Punta Cana, white sand, enough beach chairs and umbrellas are available, the staff is mostly very friendly with a few exceptions, the beach is practically constantly cleaned by the staff the seagrass

Negativ:: There are a lot of things that were not appropriate due to the price, the Hotel itself is very much in the years, the furniture in the rooms and restaurants, the strange smells everywhere. What was worst, though, was the food. Whether in one of the 2 main restaurants or in the specialty restaurants, the food was really poor. The biggest problem was that the food was not really warm. At the end of the holiday I only ate rice with sauce. A good thing was the alcoholic drinks, which you get almost everywhere. even foreign alcohol, like bombay gin, got you served on the beach. 2 years ago we were already here in the same resort, at that time everything was good. Food was excellent. It was incomprehensible how the quality of the food can decrease in such a short time.

Positiv:: The service was excellent, the food was very good and varied, and the Christmas dinner was particularly extraordinary!!! All the staff is very friendly and committed to personalized service, and despite the crowds the organization is very efficient. The special events were also very enjoyable.

Negativ:: The rooms at Esmeralda could use a little refurbishment, since there are almost no power outlets and the door is not very soundproof (I could constantly hear the people in the hall). The nightclub (which is shared with the other hotels in the complex) is not very good, the music selection is not smooth and the decor is pretty outdated.

Positiv:: The design of the property is stunning. So many places to tuck away and tan. Liked that it was an all-inclusive, without the 'partyness' so-to-speak. Very serene and quiet. Loved the 2 yoga classes/day aspect, along with yogic talks. And the yoga teacher, Estefani, was really fun. Wasn't able to experience the aquatic spin class, but loved that it was offered. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly and kind, and accommodated all of our dietary needs.

Negativ:: Location is pretty remote. About an hour away from the airport. Also the beach is quite small to go for a walk on. Only the width of the resort as the rest of the area was public and unkempt.

Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet, das Sushi zu Mittag an der Poolbar hat uns besonders geschmeckt.

Negativ:: Mein Mann war anfangs ein bisschen verärgert über den Preis, aber am zweiten Tag musste er zugeben, das das Hotel den Preis wert ist.

Positiv:: I had stay at Zoetry, very relaxing with my wife for a first trip in Dominican Republic. The room was really nice and all the staff was very helpful. Big thanks to our Butler Juan, who was very helpful for our requests. This resort is for those who want to relax for few days.

Negativ:: Nothing.

Positiv:: The place does indeed look amazing, the rooms are lovely and there is a sense of privacy and calm about the whole place which is exactly what we were going for (we wanted to get away from the party atmosphere of other resorts). You don't have to reserve a deck chair at the pool or beach, there is always more than one available. The spa is top notch. Most of the staff were perfectly friendly and knowledgeable.

Negativ:: My wife had an allergic reaction to the sand flea bites and couldn't sleep one night. We called to see if there was a doctor and they said yes but that it cost 300 dollars just to see him, we were appalled. My wife's Vichy face cream brand new jar was emptied out by someone (couldn't say if it was housecleaning or somebody else). We reported it at checkout, not earlier, and got told off for not reporting it as soon as it happened (we didn't want retaliation, which we´ve experienced before in hotels). They said they would get in touch with us regarding how to pay us back for our loss, but 3 weeks have gone by and nothing. Room service says it takes 45 minutes but on average it takes between 60 and 90 minutes. There were always a number of dishes at some of the restaurants that weren't available (most notably, the restaurant that has 4 or 5 dishes with lobster on the menu and one day didn't have lobster). The spirits are all top shelf, yes. But the wine included in the all-inclusive package was below par, so we stuck to the house sparkling wine, a Spanish Cava, which was acceptable.

Positiv:: Clean rooms, relaxing pools and beachfront. Tasty drinks but watered down, just get separate shots and add as needed. All inclusive top shelf. Very welcoming staff. Truly all inclusive, prices include room, VAT taxes, food and top shelf drinks. Tipping optional and no one pressures you to tip but is welcomed for above and beyond service. Transportation is separate. Amstar was very professional. Food pretty good, Olena was our favorite. Dinner on the beach was not much upscale than what is offered at the inclusive restaurants but the experience was nice.

Negativ:: Sand fleas, repellent they give you is not strong enough, I like to use the organic sprays but bring deet. The VIP services are very commercialized. They will try to sell you on excursions, spa treatments, dinners in the beach, etc. Just tell them what you want and politely decline the rest.

Negativ:: the screwed up check in check out. were told that check in was at 12. got there at 1230 and had to wait 3.5 hours. I is a ridiculous policy that the person can stay in room as long as they want.

Positiv:: We stayed in the Carribean King Suite and the room was spacious, clean and loved the jacuzzi! The resort is very big and pools and all facilities very clean.

Negativ:: We enjoyed our stay however it was very distasteful that you had to make dinner reservations to eat anywhere and we were not made aware of this. One of the “train drivers” (gentleman who help transport guests around the hotel) advised us of this but mentioned that buffet dinners were open which were “Isla” and “Ipanema”. When we arrived to ipanema we served ourselves and were told by a hostess we had to sit outside if we had no reservations; no problem! When we walk outside with our plates one of the servers made a smart comment about “who told us we could show up without a reservation” and then proceeded to tell us that due to the rain they were closing the outdoor space “it has a roof and they were people dining outdoors”. We had already served our dinner so we still sat down to eat and with a bad attitude she walked over and served us water after being seated for a while. Lastly, the food isn’t bad but is made without any seasoning for the most part so really didn’t enjoy any meals but again not bad just not good either.

Positiv:: Excellent rooms, fantastic staff, delicious drinks, perfect pools/beach, and great food! Can't wait to return again; this place is simply... Majestic! As a 22 year old traveling with his 2 parents and 2 siblings (14 year old sister, 18 year old brother) there was something to do for everyone in every age group. The live evening shows were a treat everyone could enjoy, and the entertainment staff went above and beyond to make every activity a delight. The incredible amount of effort put in by everyone makes this a truly great vacation to take!

My special attentions to the outstanding service from Cristian a the beach bar, Mirulgis and Felipe at the plaza bar, Ezequiel the best bartender, Pedro at Japanese restaurant, Alexander the butler, Tony at the buffet, everyone and everything amazing. Negativ:: Das Service an der Lobby ist bis auf wenige herausragende Ausnahmen (Melinna) unterirdisch und nur auf das Nötigste beschränkt und mit minimalistischen englisch Kenntnissen.In einem 5 Sterne Hotel auf der nord-/mittel-/südamerikanischem Erdkugel kann man von englisch sprechendem und verstehendem Personal im Gastro-,Barbereich ausgehen.Dem war aber nicht so! Bei einer simplen Martini rosso Bestellung in der Bavaro Lobby bekamen wir nur ein "Hä" Martini ??? als Antwort.Es kursierter ein Magen Darm Virus in der Anlage,der sichtbar die Restaurants leerte.Ein Anruf an der Lobby,weil man im Bett lag und dort um einen Service bat,der einem 1 Schale Reis mit Suppe aufs Zimmer bringen könnte,wurde am 1.Tag ignoriert,am 2.Tag erst ohne Antwort bedacht,nach 1 Stunde dannbestätigt,es käme etwas und dann nach weiteren 2 Stunden endlich gebracht.Es handelte sich um einen Zeitraum 19.00-22.00.In der Zwischenzeit hatte mein Mann mir eine Suppe mit Reis dank der freundlichen Empfangsdamen im Mainrestaurant Bavaro besorgt. Der Zimmerservice sah sich ausser Stande um 12.00 mittags ,mir Reis zu bringen,weil dieser nicht auf der Roomservice Speisekarte steht! Das Hotel hat ganz offensichtlich ein Hygieneproblem.Im Restaurantkomplex Portofino /El Dorado riecht alles nach Chlor.An einem Abend schmeckte dann auch das Mineralwasser danach.Später auch mal die Biere im Strandrestaurant Aricife.Die Vögel im Mainrestaurant la Catedral wären ja noch zu verschmerzen,würden sie nicht auch am Buffett herumpicken. Das Obst war leider oft überreif.Sahnetorten ,rohes Fleisch machen sich auch schlecht ohne Kühlung. In unserer 3.Woche grasierte massiv ein Magendarm Virus unter den Gästen.Ein Zeichen fehlender Hygiene. Als ein Kind im Restaurant Aricife zur Hauptessenszeit in der Mittagshitze Tisch,Stuhl und Boden vollkotzte,dauerte es über 1 Stunde bis alles endlich weggeputzt wurde.Das Personal bemühte sich,die umliegenden Tische umzusetzen,weil es zu stinken anfing.

Negativ:: The Devil wears black and is a con-artist. Hard to believe Grand Palladium would allow a rounded (loaded) dice scam on their property, but their casino Kviar invites unsuspecting patrons to play a dice game, then switches the dice prior to you winning. Stay away from the man dressed in the oversized black suit with loaded dice.

Positiv:: Hector the supervisor was amazing person , professional, excellent customer service they need more people like him

Negativ:: Italian restaurant the staff was very rude expecially Eddie

Positiv:: It was a great experience, All staff was so caring it felt so special, ppl was so polite. Loved the attention and the great service. Food was amazing, the pool area great, Also got the chance to take the train and go to the others hotels

Negativ:: The beach needs more cleaning fhe 1st day was great, 2nd and 3th day to much seaweed. Also I was asked to be moved because I was seating close to the members area that I didn't like. Also booking.com didnt include my son in the package. so I end up paying a extra 175.

Positiv:: Loved the pools, and beaches !

Negativ:: Food is not of great quality !

Positiv:: Waitstaff was nice. I enjoyed the nightly entertainment.

Negativ:: When we arrived, our room wasn't ready so we were informed we can eat lunch in one of their main dining halls and the room should be ready after. On the way to lunch, we were stopped by a man pushing a timeshare. We graciously said no to a timeshare presentation but he said it was not a timeshare but a travel club. (We went to the presentation two days after and it was similar to that of a timeshare smh!). On the path to the dining hall, we were stopped by people selling souvenirs, cigars and jewelry. They are very pushy. We finally reached the dining hall and I witnessed a roach crawling near the sauce by the grill area in the general dining room. I just arrived and already there was an issue. I told two people that appeared to be important as one had on a tall white chef hat and the other had on an even talller hat in Black. They saw the roach and continued talking. The main dining hall for lunch only have fans. It was way too hot for mere fans. I caught the staff taking turns going to the restroom to rinse off their faces with cold water. They looked miserable! The air conditioner in the room wasnt cold enough and you can't make it any colder. I was so excited to use the outdoor shower as I booked the romance room. A heap of ants formed while showering and it disgusted me that I finished my shower indoors. My fiance tried the shower the following day and an army of ants formed yet again. The door for the toilet and the indoor shower don't close. The hinges to the door was rusted and it needed to be changed. Taking a shower caused water to leak all over the floor. There is lack of good lighting in the indoor shower and no light for the jacuzzi area. I need to see if its clean before I use it because the shower had someone's hair in it. Called to get the entire room cleaned over (that is if they cleaned it before) and there were no wash cloths and the minibar was empty. I called the front desk for 3 days asking for wash cloths.

Positiv:: Everything was awesome.

Negativ:: The numbering of the villages could be vastly improved. First, you need more signs of the main stone paths. Second, you need Noth/South/West/East arrows throughout property because if you don't see the ocean or a recognizable area, it is harder to navigate. Third, why are the village numbers on a small tile on only ONE side of the buildings. Those numbers should be painted much larger on the white corners below decks. Fourth, even numbers on one side only. Odd on opposite side.

Positiv:: The grounds are immaculately maintained, and everything you need is nearby. There’s snack food available between meals and the staff is incredibly helpful whenever asked for information. I felt incredibly safe and everyone in the DR is friendly and helpful. The media has blown up about the supposed “horrors” happening there, but it’s being exacerbated beyond belief. Don’t believe what anyone says when they say that the DR isn’t safe. I felt safer throughout my whole trip (including three days in the Capital) than I do in the USA.

Positiv:: Went for our honeymoon. First room was not clean. Also the safe did not work, took 3 calls and 3 hours for someone to come and fix it. Got moved to a different room, a bit better. Not happy with our stay here.

Positiv:: Die Buffetrestaurants, das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, Strand top trotz Grünalgen, Poolbars, Hemingway Bar, Mittagessen Restaurants, Unterhaltungsprogramm im Allgemeinen, Tolle Grünanlage. Für uns beste Mitarbeiterin; Clara vom Barahona Pool.

Negativ:: Themenrestaurants eher Durchschnitt (das Paisana ist absolut Top), sehr aufdringliche ‚Palladium Agenten‘; auch in der 3. Ferienwoche, wir kannten sie mittlerweilen, versuchten sie uns am Arm beiseite zu ziehen. Wasserqualität in den Pools am Abend.

Positiv:: The facilities for the most part are well kept.

Negativ:: Not enough staff on hand. Long lines at the bars. Slow service in all the restaurants. Employees walk right by you without saying hello.
