Positiv:: Wir waren an einem perfekten Standort, um Strand, Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. Ihre Plätzchen waren besonders nett, warm und lecker. Die Betten waren bequem, die Handtücher waren groß und die Kaffeebar war perfekt (als wir endlich die Tassen fanden). Das Parken war im Vergleich zu Sydney und Melbourne sehr vernünftig und nah genug, dass wir zum Terminal für unsere GBR-Reise gehen konnten. Das Vine Room war gut in der Lage und das Personal. Schöne Umgebung in außergewöhnlicher Lage.

Positiv:: This hotel room was exceptionally clean, the staff were nice, and bed was very comfortable. Internet is available for a fee and you can log on and log off. The hotel is right on the edge of the busy part of the Esplanade, far enough away for a quiet night's sleep. Underground parking is available too.

Positiv:: Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe sowohl zum Hafen als auch zum Zentrum. Von außen eher unauffällig, erinnert die Eingangshalle an die Kolonialzeit. Unser Zimmer (14. Etage mit Blick auf die Berge) war geräumig, modern ausgestattet und (fast*) sauber. *Leider war der Teppichboden ziemlich fleckig und im Bad fanden sich fremde Haare.

Positiv:: Welcoming staff; comfortable and quiet room as per our request. Very pleasant ambience. This was our second stay and the improvement over the first visit in both physical facilities and staff friendliness was considerable.

Positiv:: The pool was fantastic and the gym facility were great.

Positiv:: The lobby is gorgeous. There is elegant moulding throughout the rooms. Pool appeared large. Room service (spaghetti) serving was small but very delicious (and quick and they called back with a correction to a statement about their menu). I was able to check in early. Location is fantastic. They're next door to shops, grocery store, bar, and casino (including "The Dome"- indoor rainforest), and they're a small block away from the marina (where the reef boats take off from) and fantastic dining (the Pier area). This hotel is a good compromise for still having a nearly high-end experience but saving some money. By U.S. standards it would probably achieve a 3.5 star rating (Aussie ones run higher).

Positiv:: Hotel delivers what it promises on its website. Palatial, well maintained, well serviced, well everything. Fantastic pool (and service at the pool). Nice rooms, excellent mattresses (you'll want to buy one after sleeping on one!), good views.

Positiv:: A thoroughly good hotel - perfect location, brilliant staff and an exceptional breakfast! The pool is the largest I have seen in a hotel. We had caught a fish on a charter boat and the chef cooked it for us, with a delicious soup and salad accompanying it.
