Positiv:: Forsthaus was a wonderful stay. You can only get to there by cable car which added to the feeling of cozy family atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, we were traveling with two children under the age of two and they were so accommodating. The food was really good and the restaurant was good too! It really was a great place today stay away from all of the tourist like stuff we would normally stay at. We are hoping to go back this summer.

Positiv:: The sites from the hotel are simly amazing!! It had easy access to all the trails in town, and you can walk from the hotel to the train station in about 25 minutes. You don't really need a cab unless you've got lots of luggage. We would definitely come back to this place!!!

Positiv:: Getting to the hotel by cable car was fun and a beautiful way to see the river and the mountains. Also, hearing the faint clanging of the sheep and cow bells as they walked the hillside near the hotel was great and surprisingly relaxing. We travel with 2 dogs and are always extremely happy when we find beautiful, dog-friendly places!

Positiv:: This hotel is a "gem"!! I would come back to Germany just to stay there. When we first arrived we were greeted by the very friendly staff who would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Our room was very cozy but beautiful!! We had a breathtaking view from our room and the bathroom! We wished we could have enjoyed the deck outside our room but we didn't have the time. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast and a very friendly staff and was quite cozy and pretty. The bar and sitting area was my favorite with live music and wine. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. It is a MUST STAY in our books!!! It was the BEST!!!!

Positiv:: Wir haben 3 Tage im Hotel verbracht. Man erkennt, dass hier eine Strategie/Philosophie exisitiert, die von der Hotelleitung bis zum einzelnen Mitarbeiter gelebt wird. Die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist Spitzenklasse. Die Aufmerksamkeit und Liebe im Detail merkt man z.B. beim Essen (besondere "Schmankerl") oder auch in der Einrichtung bzw. den Serviceleistungen (Regenschirm, Wasser, Espresso-Maschine auf dem Zimmer usw.).

Positiv:: Das Hotel Trifthof ist ein sehr angenehmen Hotel. Ruhig, sauber und die Geschäftsführerin ist überaus nett zu den Gästen. Das Frühstück war super, hat täglich gewechselt und nachmittags gab es sogar kostenlos Kaffee, Kuchen und Glühwein. Ich werde das Hotel jedem empfehlen, der sich für einen Kurzurlaub in Garmisch-Partenkirchen entschließt.

Direkt neben dem Hotel liegt der kleine, aber schöne Riessersee. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das gute Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr groß und vielfältig.

Grund: Wir haben zwar eine Buchungsbestätigung von booking.com erhalten, jedoch war die Buchung nicht zum Hotel Riessersee übertragen worden und es stand zunächst kein Zimmer zur Verfügung. Ist uns bei Buchungen über hrs niemals passiert. Diese erste Erfahrung mit booking.com war demnach enttäuschend.

Die Lage der Apartments ist etwas versteckt, aber ruhig und direkt in der Nähe der Kirche St. Martin. Vor dem Haus toller Blick auf den Wank und das Zugspitzmassiv. Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig und vielseitig.

Positiv:: Very accomodating staff. Entire busload of wild teenies invaded hotel at 5 PM. Staff moved us to a quieter quarter. By the time we came back from dinner, all had been tamped down and was very quiet. Nice spot with a great view of the mountains. Lots of parking available.

Positiv:: We arrived at this hotel in the middle of an October blizzard and heavy snow so it was a sight for sore eyes. Room was typical for a chain hotel - in a good way! It was clean, well laid out, perfectly equipped and a great modern bathroom (though small!). We used the pool - I think they said it was 28.5 degrees, so yes, cold, but typical. We ate in the restaurant and it was great regional food, very well priced. We also had drinks and snacks in the bar - again, very pleased. Fabulous breakfast. Becasue of the snow, we didn't even venture out so I can't comment on how well-placed the hotel is, but in terms of value for money (our room cost under £70!!), it is one of the best I have stayed in.
