really bad rental and servicePositiv: NothingNegativ: When i get there the girl tells me my card got decline, which its obvious i have money, tell her to run it again and same thing decline. My boyfriend gave me his card and she said"we will need to put everything under his name and you wont be able to drive the car" and we said fine. His card got accepted and signs the papers and we go outside to get ther car. We see the car it has several dents as soon as we open the car it smell bad like they left sea food in the car and the car was really dirty from the inside. Then we turn on the car it said maintenance required. We drove to san antonio and the wipers didn't work and they were scratching the window and the light for the wiper fluid turn on. I got charged for the car and i wasn't able to drive it and i never sign a paper saying i gave permission to get charged.
Negativ: Rented for 4 days but brought it back afer 1 day becaues trip got canceled because my wife was sick, they charged me the full amount!
Kayak or Hertz? I don't know which one is worse.Negativ: I received my confirmation of a rental car from Kayak, I arrived at Hertz to pick it up. There was no car available for me. I was told by a rude lady at Hertz in Beaumont (I had a relative drive me an hour to get there) at Kayak confirms without communicating with the car rental locations. I was stranded in Beaumont with no car to get my father, who is very ill and can't fly, home.
