Positiv:: there was a mix up with my online booking (which was not really the hotels fault) nevertheless the hotel staff made me feel at ease and they were very generous to upgrade our stay when the booking got sorted. The staff really made the experience for me. i am fortunate enough in my work to stay in many hotels around the country, many have great amenities and are in great locations but few make you feel so welcome.

Positiv:: Das Coachmans hat ein super modernes, riesiges Familienzimmer in einer der Pubstraßen von Kenmare. Bei offenem Fenster kann man abends Musik aus allen Pubs gleichzeitig hören. Lustig! Die super Live-Musik aus dem Pub direkt unter dem Zimmer kann man besonders in der Dusche sehr gut miterleben. Hat uns als Musikbegeisterte aber nicht gestört, denn gegen 23.30 Uhr war eh schon Schluss.

Positiv:: mal direkt überm Pub übernachten - und trotzdem kein nerviger Lärm in unserem gemütlich eigerichteten Zimmer unterm Dach. Parkplatz war auch kein Problem. Leider fiel ausgerechnet an dem Abend, an dem wir dort übernachtet hatten, die life Musik im gleichnamigen Pub aus, aber es gab diverse Alternativen nebenan und gegenüber. Frühstücksraum war nicht besonders und nur 1 Stunde geöffnet. Ansonsten hat Kenmare nicht allzuviel zu bieten.

Positiv:: This is a pub/restaurant with bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The pub has live music most nights and plays Irish music the rest of the time. The food in the restaurant is excellent-kerry beef and guiness stew, lamb stew, fish and chips, seafood. The rooms were clean and comfortable-this is not a fancy place.

The location in the center of the small village of Kenmare was precisely what we wanted. The proximity to shopping and pubs (with Irish music) fit our interests perfectly.
