Positiv: "Zwar wurde der Einstieg nur über einen Bustransfer über das Rollfeld ermöglicht, aber die Wartezeiten vor dem Bus und vor dem Flieger wurden so kurz wie möglich organisiert. Die Innenausstattung des Flugzeugs ist sehr stilvoll und edel ausgewählt. Kompliment ! Da hat die SWISS ordentlich Häkchen bei der Sonder- und Zusatzausstattung gemacht. Die Beinfreiheit zwischen den Sitzen ist angenehm großzügig bemessen für einen innereuropäischen Flug, in einem Airbus A319. Diese Beinfreiheit kenne ich eigentlich nur von Fernflügen mit asiatischen Airlines. Die Cabin Crew war mit Authentizität äusserst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt hatte ich das Gefühl , gezwungener Freundlichkeit zu begegnen. Retroperspektiv möchte ich sagen, dass dies der angenehmste innereuropäische Flug war, bei dem ich jemals Fluggast war. Schade, dass der Flug nur 45 Minuten dauerte. Mit der Maschine und dem Personal würde ich auch mal zum mars fliegen. ;-)"

In Zuerich musste man zum Anschlussflug erneut durch Sicherheitskontrolle, nachdem schon in New York auf unfreundliche US Manier kontrolliert worden war. Wegen Hauptlounge-Umbaus ist die Aspire Lounge zu benutzen, sehr beengt und ueberfuellt. Angebot an Essen auch eher bescheiden."

This is not the first time this happened with Aegean. I would appreciate more accurate and timely information about delays so as not to have to rush to the gate and then wait."

Positiv: "We had a technical problem after take off and our flight needed to return to Athens airport. The Captain assured all the pax this was not a safety related issue, and a fresh plane would be ready for us when we landed in Athens. After landing in Athens at a remote gate, we were bussed to the terminal, waited for no more than 10 minutes to another aircraft to make our journey to Paris. As we got on the bus to go to the new aircraft we were handed a letter with apologies for the disruption. In this letter we were offered a free flight anywhere within the Aegean Airlines network, valid for 12 months. I thought this was great customer recovery. The same technical and cabin crew took our new plane to Paris and we managed to make up a reasonable amount of time delay. This was an unforeseen situation handled very well. Well done Aegean."

A lovely touch. This airline runs like clockwork. They are just great. The sandwich and stoop waffle are nice too."
Negativ: "There is a bus to the plane, so that takes a bit of extra time but they are very well organized."

Positiv: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Negativ: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Beim Flug von SFO nach FRA hat die Stewardess sich das sogar mit Kugelschreiber auf der Hand mit meinem Sitzplatz notiert, aber es hatte leider keine Auswirkungen. Ich würde mich also über Textskripte bei Ansagen auf dem Monitor sehr freuen, ebenso über deutsche Untertitel bei den Filmen. In den Überseemaschinen ist die Übertragung der Ansagen meistens klanglich ok - in den Inlandflügen, so wie von FRA nach TXL war die Lautsprecheransage so verzerrt, dass ich nichts verstanden habe. Wenn dabei wichtige Informationen gewesen wären, hätte ich leider Pech gehabt. Das ist sehr behindertenunfreundlich."

And he kept kicking my seat every now and then, and made a fuss every time he went to the toilet. He really ruined my flight experience to New York."
