Sitze sind in etwa so gemütlich wie bei Kurzstrecken Billigfliegern - also gar nicht. Das Personal hat durchgehend auf allen 4 Flügen meiner Reise mit Iceland Air auf isländisch vor sich hin getratscht, während dem Flug und auch am Ende zur Verabschiedung, zusätzlich waren die Englischkenntnisse des Bordpersonals meist eher rudimentär. Werbung für einen Stopover in Island bekommt man überall, vor allem innerhalb des Entertainment Programms welches sich nicht einschalten lässt ohne das man einen 5,5 minütigen Werbefilm anschauen muss. teils zieht sich das weiter wenn man einen Film ansehen will. Icelandair hatte uns einen Flug mit 30 Min Umsteigezeit gescheduled - was mich sehr nervös gemacht hat als wir dann Verspätung am Rollfeld hatten und dann noch Bus fahren mussten. Der Anschlussflieger hatte sein Boarding bis kurz vor Abflug geöffnet und wir haben es dann easy geschafft. Man muss auch erwähnen, dass es in Reykjavik mangels Sitzmöglichkeiten einfach ewig lange Schlangen gibt in die man sich einreihen muss. Wenn man auf den günstigen Preis verzichten kann: nie wieder Iceland Air!"

Negativ: "Not iceland air fault but waited over an hour after we landed to get into a gate. Then waited another 30 minutes after customs until luggage arrived. Seats go too far back. The guy in front of me was siting in my lap. Also the flight status boards in Reykjavik were not well designed. I've never seen so many people panicking and running to flights in my life. i was in the terminal for 3 hours on a layover and watched about 10% of the people freaking out. 99% of the time it was over nothing."

Negativ: "You had to go through their customs to change plans. Then you had to board a bus to get carried over to your connecting plane. There was not enough time allowed between flights to do that. They did not have enough bathrooms for all the flights coming in at the Iceland airport. Iceland Air is basically a travel agency in an airplane for Iceland. A lot of pushing by the company to stop in Iceland for a few days and buy Iceland products. It was a lot of hassle to cross the Atlantic on Iceland Air, and I will try not to use them again."

When we arrived at the gate, it looked like business class had already been called, so there was HUGE mob gathered about the gate including small children. An employee worked her way through the crowd randomly checking passports and marking boarding passes. Eventually we made it onto the shuttle which drove us out to the plane. I wouldn't like to fly Icelandair overnight because I wouldn't be able to sleep at all in the business class seats since they don't recline that much."

Bei einer 10-stündigen Reise eine Zumutung. Getränke Auswahl war mangelhaft, vom angebotenen Sortiment waren einige Getränke nicht verfügbar. Mir wurde im vollen Flugzeug ein Sitz in der letzten Reihe gegeben, dessen Rucklehne nicht verstellbar war. Zusammengenommen war es die schlechteste Erfahrung eines Fluges in den letzten Jahren. Ich werde definitiv nicht mehr mit Icelandair fliegen."

Positiv: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

Negativ: "The plane was terribly old and decrepit. None of the television screens worked, the airplane was dingy, brown, worn out looking and just overall gross. This flight was operated by a company called Privilege Style, and while the crew was fantastic everything else was terrible. The food was pathetic and nasty; they served breaded chicken that was so soggy it resembled a used dish cloth. It came with soggy oily vegetables and a cake that had condensation all over it. The only redeeming thing on this flight was the free Polish beer (it was warm). The flight we took going to Poland was on one of their new Dreamliner planes and it was amazing! We were so disappointed with this return flight as it was a stark contrast to the wonderful experience we had coming to Poland. I hope in the future they can discontinue use of these older planes, as it makes flying much more aggravating."

LaGuardia airport forced passengers to take their car services by walking outside and waiting in a parking garage with (12 degree Fahrenheit feels like -4 and 20 mph winds). Felt frostbite, couldn’t move fingers, and have a sinus headache. absolutely appalling this is NY and USA - yet we can’t have car services pick up pasengers outside the door of the airport, instead require to walk 7 minutes and stand in a freezing air tunnel airport garage. Super Besatzung wirkte auf mich gestresst ganzes Team war auch untereinander nicht harmonisch. Bordunterhaltung gabs nur in Oben alle 3 bis Sitzreihen einen TV dort konnte man Film schauen, nicht nach eigener Wahl. Sonst konnte man Film und Unterhaltung im Händy oder schauen Tablet herunterladen.Brauchst einfach gute Batterien dafür es gab keine Auflade Möglichkeiten, nur am Airport."

First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her."

A frustrating experience hat could have been made better with just some communication about what was going on."

Im Flugzeug gab es bei 10h Flugzeit (nachts) zwei große Mahlzeiten die tatsächlich sehr lecker waren. Es gab eine riesige Auswahl an bekannten Filmen und Serien was mich sehr begeistert hat. Decken/Kissen/Kopfhörer ebenfalls sehr angenehm"

Positiv: "Uma antiga queixa minha era o tratamento dispensado pela tripulação da TAP aos passageiros. Muitas vezes faziam o seu serviço sem paciência e até mesmo de forma rude. Nos meus últimos 3 vôos pela TAP, a tripulação vem se mostrando muito mais cordial e até mesmo divertida, sendo bastante simpática. Ainda pode melhorar? Claro que sim, mas agora não tenho mais "medo" de pedir um copo d'água a mais para os comissários."

A poltrona, apesar de não reclinar, era até confortável, mas os meu joelhos ficaram espremidos pela poltrona da frente. Sem contar que, para um vôo de 3h, deveria ser disponibilizado algum entretenimento, mesmo que através do wifi (como já fazem as cias. brasileiras - se no Brasil já fazem, qualquer país do mundo é capaz de fazer!)"

On the shorter flights, they even charge you for water!"

Headphones were available for 3 euros- never had that occur on an international flight. I will always ask if my ticket includes Air Europa as an operator and avoid them if that is the case"

Negativ: "Beim Online-Check-in ist es nur möglich, die Boarding-Karten auszudrucken und nicht aufs Handy zu senden. Wer nimmt schon seinen Drucker mit in den Urlaub! Deshalb stand am Check-in-Schalter dann eine Mega-Schlange an, obwohl der Online Check-in vorher schon erfolgt war. Schlechte Englischkenntnisse des Flugpersonals. Kopfhörer für die Fernseher müssen gekauft werden (2,50 €). Der Verkauf beginnt jedoch erst eine Stunde nach dem Start. Bis dahin kann man sich mit Lippenlesen beschäftigen. Die Kaffeebewirtung wurde ab der Hälfte des Flugzeuges unterbrochen wegen Turbulenzen. Verständlich! Nur wurde der Rest der Passagiere danach nicht mehr bedient. Wer unbedingt Kaffee wollte, konnte einzeln in der Besatzungskabine nachfragen. Die Toiletten müssten bei einem Langstreckenflug unbedingt zwischendurch einmal gereinigt werden."

Negativ: "Madrid Airport is a nightmare! Long walks, confusing, crowded, etc."

Positiv: "Beide Flüge (FRA-Madrid und Madrid-Mallorca) waren pünktlich. Da wir in Madrid über 5 Stunden Aufenthalt hatten, sind wir mit dem Taxi zum Prado gefahren und haben uns 2 1/2 Stunden dort die wunderbare Gemäldesammlung angesehen. Das Personal war höflich und freundlich."

Negativ: "Die Sitze waren ungemütlich und nicht weit genug zurückklappbar. Die Kopfhörer waren kostenpflichtig. Man musste sich seine Getränke ständig selbst holen."

Negativ: "Every flight was at least an hour delayed. We were insanely late for our connection flight due to a totally unnecessary delay at the first airport. We then SPRINTED across the whole Madrid airport and then when we arrived to second plane was TWO HOURS delayed. The staff always seemed to be working, but was completely inefficient in getting anything done. It took them 20 minutes to respond to our notice (we pressed the air attendant button on our seats) and then told us we couldn't get snacks because they were giving out pizzas, which took another hour. Every single part of our flight was delayed and inefficient... with no reason ever being given. It was pretty miserable overall and I will likely never use Air Europa ever again."

Negativ: "Every single person that worked there from front desk to flight attendants were sassy and rude on both my flight there and back."

Positiv: "Everything was fine! I slept most of the trip as I was lucky enough to get a window seat. The food was okay and I actually quite liked the red wine I had."
Negativ: "Can't complain! As I said for the way there, I would prefer not to have to pay to pre-pick my seats, but we choose the random option and I still got to sit next to my cousin (who I was traveling with) for all 4 flights of our trip."

On the way back personal entertainment system was very, very lagi, additionally reset itself during movie fief times, and from where I was seating other people had the same issue. Coordination at airport was also not the best after landing at JFK, because we spend almost 50 minutes in airplane waiting for docking."
