Negativ: Leider war der Flug verspätet und das Board Personal überfordert und lustlos. Damit dann auch nicht freundlich. Deutsch und englisch wurde bei den Durchsagen nur gebrochen gesprochen. Grundsätzlich finde ich internationales Personal super, aber es sollte dann bitte verständlich sein. Erst recht Durchsagen und Sicherheitshinweise. Leider haben die Passergiere versteckt die Augen verdreht und gelacht. Auch nicht in Ordnung!

Positiv: The crew was good. The comfort level of the seats were awful. People throw their luggage in the overhead compartment to fit theirs and nobody else. I had to put my backpack in front of me and had absolutely no leg room. The seats were smaller than usual.

Positiv: Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day.
Negativ: Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate.
Positiv: Food is excellent... nice variety plus dessert. Everything was hot & delicious & used metal utensils which was much nicer than plastic.

Negativ: No power outlet, cramped due to passenger reclined fully also made using entertainment screen impossible.

Negativ: Rather than boarding economy passengers by row number, there is a free-for-all at the gate, and tedious blockage in the aisles as passengers wait for others to place carry-on luggage. More leg-room than United, but still a bit crowded for tall people. VERY BAD DESIGN of arm-rests, which do not go up all the way into the seat but instead jut out at an angle.

Negativ: Zurich is a confusing Airport, where signs are not obvious, and the queues are poorly formed. They should improve that for sure.

Negativ: British AIrways could have checked our bags through from Denver to Paris....after all it was British Airways to British Airways, but they made us check only to London, retrieve bags carry them to another terminal recheck them for what Simon the BA ticket writer was nothing but pure error by British

Negativ: I am handicap, I travel with a scooter. We let them know months in advance and still they did not plan or assist. My scooter was not brought up in Brussels or DC, I refused to leave the plane in DC until they finally brought it to plane. They sat me in row 38...I can only walk a few feet so the airline failed in every aspect...epuc fail. I will never fly Brussels airlines again.
Positiv: Brussels Airlines is the the step-child of Lufthansa basically. But on the transatlantic flights they do a very good job.

Positiv: Gute Beinfreiheit; kostet aber bei einem Mittelstreckenflugzeug € 25 p.P./Richtung. Die Hälfte der Verspätung beim Abflug konnte bis zur Landung wieder eingeholt werden. Bordgepäck und 1 persönliches Handgepäck wurde kulant ohne Mehrkosten abgewickelt.
Negativ: Verspätung wegen verspäteter technischer Vorbereitung??? groß angepriesenes WIFI hat trotz Urgenz nicht funktioniert (Aussage des Anwesenden Bordpersonal „habe bei Kollegen nachgefragt, muss gehen“; funktionierte bei mir und auch in den benachbarten Sitzreihen nicht. Große Werbung und nichts dahinter :D

Negativ: 12 hour flight with no in flight movies unless you paid an extra EUR 10. Food tastes bad, plus I was skipped from the second meal despite having prepaid for it (flight attendant overlooked that my seat was on a list, part of the problems that come with nickeling and diming for every single thing including even meals on an international flight). Despite flying to the US, attendants consistently only spoke German to me and my wife, did not speak on both German and English.
Negativ: London Concorde first Lounge is old, food and service terrible, toilets dirty. And that is the best they got. Will try to avoid BA and only use if no other option. LH and AF much better in Europe

Negativ: On a 4 hour flight Offer snacks and water without charge. Children were screaming the entire flight. The crew stood in the back reading magazines instead of checking if people needed more drinks.
Positiv: The staff were great, the flight was on time, the boarding was easy.
Negativ: The food. Both my sons are vegan and there weren't any vegan options apart from crisps and nuts. Vegans are taking over the World so you need to be able to give them something to eat!

Positiv: Helpful person at check in counter when I couldn’t check in online and the kiosk would not complete my check in process. Easy boarding. Very relaxed and friendly flight crew (less militant than other airline crews).
Negativ: There was some sort of glitch with my record and I could not check in online or at the kiosk. That was frustrating. I called customer service and it was a VERY long time on hold to get an agent.
