Dank der ausgezeichneten Lage (Ummauerter Stadtkern von Cartagena) ist dieses Hotel zu Fuß nur 10 Minuten entfernt von: Iglesia de San Roque und Castillo San Felipe de Barajas. Ebenfalls nur 2 km entfernt: Puerta del Reloj und Kirche und Kloster San Pedro Claver.
Positiv: Patricia und ihr Personal waren wundervoll!
Negativ: Nicht eine Sache
Best Value
Positiv: The hotel is right next to everything!! Next to the plaza, 2-minute walk to the center and for the money - its hands-down the best. Do not expect a ultra-inclusive resort. It is a small two-story spot in the middle of everything. The view from the 3rd floor is incredible. You can see the castle, La Popa and at night with a full moon shinning in the river, it is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is awesome - Always helping and assisting in any way they can - even with the language barrier (I don't speak alot of Spanish). It is cheap and many folks complained that the internet did not work in the rooms - However, I did not encounter any issues with the Wi-fi. It is a small spot to spend a few days and see Cartagena (especially if one is on a budget.) I would definitely stay there again and again (even with the loud music - see negatives)
Negativ: I didn't like the music and loud noise all that much. And yes I know it is Colombia and music is part of the overall culture. I just did not like the fact that right next door to the place you have a house with monster DJ speakers blasting salsa from Sunday 10am to Monday 2am. No breaks; No cuts. Loud salsa all day and all night. This only occurred 1 time so I am not sure if that qualifies for something "I didn't like".
I don't have much to say here. Everything was great, staff was nice and helpful, close proximity to everything, clean rooms, and... ohh yeah, did I mention location, location, location and cheap, cheap, cheap
