Positiv:: The whole experience was a highlight of a month long trip! The position, the view, the design, the staff (they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and their attention to detail was exceptional), the service, the food, the semi-private beach all made it a very special place! Also the hotel very kindly upgraded us at check-in which enhanced the experience further.

Positiv:: Relaxed and spent some time exploring the Amalfi Coast. We alternated between relaxing at the hotel and taking day trips to nearby points of interest.

Positiv:: Es war einfach alle perfekt - hier gibt es nichts negatives. Man muss nur fit sein da mann ca. 200 Stufen zum Strand hinter sich bringen muss.

Positiv:: The view!! What a view. We stayed in the Junior Suite with a little private garden. Breakfast is servd on a patio with a great view as well. It was great. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Giacomo suggested a few restaurants and even resereved a table for us at La Strada on our first night. It was excellent. The room is comfortable and has air-conditioning. We really enjoyed our stay!

Positiv:: Lovely garden terrace, with deck chairs looking over the sea. Nice marble bathroom. Staff couldnt have been more helpful and welcoming. Made restaurant reservations for us, helped plan our trip to airport, etc. etc.

Positiv:: The staff and ambiance of the hotel were superb! Very helpful and friendly staff and some of the best capucinos we've ever had. We even enjoyed the steps involved getting to and from the hotel. (Not for the weak-of-heart, 200m the 40 steps down OR 220 steps from the village up-- to get to the beach from the village it was another 400 or so steps, lost count after a while, but quite the scenery and quite enjoyable). The view was quite good, although a bit overstated on the web-site.

Positiv:: Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, schöne ehemalige Ölmühle mit herrlichem Blick und Abendsonne, man darf keine Angst vor Treppenstufen haben, aber das gilt wohl fast für alle Hotels und B u. B's hier; die Costa Amalfitana ist insgesamt recht teuer, das Frantoio ist auf jeden Fall seinen Preis wert!

Positiv:: Das ganze Ambiente des Hotels ist atemberaubend. Wir waren mit kleinen Kindern da und es war super. Wir kommen wieder, alleine und ohne Auto. Das Boot Taxi ist viel besser um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Positiv:: Fabulously located right on the cliff overlooking the Amalfi coastline yet far enough removed from the crowds to feel as if it your very own piece of heaven. Staff were very friendly, especially the barman and the restaurant staff. The terrace overlooking the bay was the perfect place for sundowners! Particularly liked being able to swim off their beach and sunbathing platform. We had excellent meals here, the pasta with seafood baked in foil was the best ever! Food was not overly expensive as some other reviewers had mentioned. Lifts that transported you down through the rock from the hotel to the beach below have to be experienced! I felt very safe even though I really don't like heights as the lifts were modern and enclosed.

Positiv:: Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach spektakulär. 100m über dem Meer hat man eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Amaliküste incl. Blick auf Positano und Capri.Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Der privaten Strand (dorthin gelangt man über 2 Aufzüge) bietet ausreichend Liegen, einen Meerwasserpool , eine Bar sowie ein paar Wassersportmöglichkeiten. Auch kann man sich von dort mit einem Boot abholen lassen, um z.B. nach Capri zu fahren (sehr zu empfehlen). Wenn man nicht den Trubel der größeren Städten (Amalfi, Positiano) haben möchte, so ist dieses Hotel eine perfekte ruhige Alternative.

Positiv:: Room was great and waking up to see the sunrise with the ocean was great. Not all rooms are ocean/sea view, but they accommodated us when we requested it.

Positiv:: The location was great, right at a SITA bus stop so getting to other places along the Amalfi Coast was very easy. The staff was very helpful, purchasing train tickets for me prior to arrival, arranging transfers to and from the hotel, etc. The room was large as was the bathroom - we even had a jacuzzi tub! Great view from our balcony of a Saracen tower and the sea. Wi-Fi access provided for free. Good breakfast buffet with optional hot eggs available at a small charge.

Positiv:: Hotel sehr preisgünstig. Ein bisschen ausserhalb des Ortskern. Bushaltestelle aber direkt beim Hotel. Davide und Raffaele sind immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Habe den Aufenthalt genossen und kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Positiv:: Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit Meerblick und der Balkon mit dem Ausblick war toll. Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich, sauber und funktional. Die Fenster waren erfreulich schalldicht, was bei der lauten Durchgangsstraße (Amalfitana), die unten am Hotel vorbeiführt, sehr angenehm war. Freundlicher, familiärer Service, alles okay, so wie wir es erwartet hatten, normal, nicht exklusiv. Es waren während unseres Aufenthaltes überwiegend Italiener im Hotel, die Mitarbeiter sprachen aber auch gut Englisch. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig! Die Lage ist sehr gut, nur ein kurzer Weg den Berg hinunter in die hübsche Badebucht, Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür, Sita und Lokalbus ins Ortszentrum empfehlenswert!(ca 2km)

Positiv:: Der Meerblick auf den Golf von Salerno ist großartig. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse großzügig und kann auch noch im späten Oktober auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden. Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor dem Haus. Zimmer sind geräumig und gepflegt.

Positiv:: The hotel has a great location. If you love nature, tranquility and intimacy this hotel is a very good choice. Still you have to be in good physical condition as the hotel is 85 stairs away from the main street and another 350 stairs to a wonderful little golf where you can swim. Anyway the stairs are very common in Amalfi Coast and it's worth it a lot!

Staff very welcoming and honest - my husband left an expensive watch on a table in the lobby and it was returned the next day. Hotel in lovely quiet spot, close to two bays, one with beach bar, one without.
