Positiv:: The rooms were brilliant. The decor was really nice, modern and stylish. All the staff were really friendly and made you feel at home. the best thing was the quality of the rooms and the television in the bathroom.

Positiv:: Staff are polite and very helpfull. We wanted to eat out and they gave us a list of places and a map to follow so we could find uor way back easily. We locked our key inside and they gave us another one without saying a word. They filled our tea tray and made our bed every day.

Positiv:: I think the hotel was in a good location to see all the sites in scarbourgh, It was very clean and tidy and has had a recent make over in the reception, dining rooms etc, The rooms and beds were really comfortable to stay in and if i returned to scarbrough i would have no hesitation in staying at the palm court hotel.

Positiv:: Albeit that the Hotel is somewhat dated,(Needs showers instead of baths or at least a shower over bath), it is a lovely building and great value for money. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was outstanding. The addition of the small pool was fantastic for the younger kids. My family and I had a great time and we will definately return!

Positiv:: Clifton Hotel ist das Hotel für uns in Scarborough: An der ruhigen Northbay gelegen, begleitet uns das Rauschen der Brandung Tag und Nacht - genau die Musik, die wir in der Schweiz vermissen und darum in den Ferien immer suchen. Praktisch verkehrsfrei kommt man in 20 Minuten zu Fuss über den Burghügel zum Hafen an der Southbay und ins Zentrum.

Positiv:: Fantastic building but rather down at heel. Loved the room and the views but needed a bit of tlc!

Positiv:: Did not have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. Would not stay in a room with no windows again, too claustrophobic. Finding your way around the hotel was difficult and the signs were difficult. One of the lifts was out of order when we stayed.

Positiv:: I thought it stood up to its name Grand and the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every minute of my stay may it been a short one , look forward to having a longer stay.

Positiv:: The historic building is very impressive from the outside and equally so inside the foyer with the huge staircase taking centre stage. The hotel had it's Christmas decorations up which looked beautiful. We stayed in room 640 which was within one on the towers, it has two windows with beautiful views of the beach and the town and is of a good size. The food was buffet style serve yourself with plenty of choice, soup. salad bar, hot buffet for main and various cakes, ice cream, mince pies plus cheese and crackers. The breakfast was great with fruit, toast, cereal and of course a full English available, this again was self service so worked really well for us. The general ambience of the hotel was very warm and welcoming.

Positiv:: Das Hotel hatte vor 100 Jahren bestimmt viel Charme, leider ist davon nicht mehr viel übrig. Die bauarbeiten sind nicht störend, aber dringend (auch aussen) notwendig.

Positiv:: grandiose Sicht aufs Meer, trotz Riesenhotel guter Service, gutes Essen, für ältere Semester Abendunterhaltung

Positiv:: Ich kann leider keine abschließende Bewertung abgeben, da ich mich nur sehr kurz im Hotel aufgehalten habe und sogar das Frühstück wegen meines frühzeitigen Aufbruchs nicht in Anspruch nehmen konnte. Im Hinblick auf die günstige Lage des Hotels in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und den angemessenen Preis würde und werde ich dort noch einmal übernachten.
