The staff in the restaurant always particularly pleasant and the supervisor in the restaurant that handled a complaint very well and professional for us. The food both at dinner and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. There is quite a wide variety of price for the wines so care needs to be taken when ordering. A nice touch is the interactive TV in the room which has plenty of channels and enables you to see the running total of your bill.

Positiv:: Das Hotel wurde am 15. Juni 2010 eröffnet. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind absolut ruhig, man hört auch nichts aus dem Nebenzimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine reichliche Auswahl, fehlende Sachen werden laufend aufgefüllt.

Positiv:: Der tolle Pool auf dem Dach des Hauses, sowie das Fitnessstudio. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, toll ist dass man schon ab 5.00 Uhr frühstücken kann. Insgesamt ein sehr sauberes, gutes Stadthotel mit einer tollen zentralen Lage. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

The hotel was impeccably clean though, with new feeling linen, fresh looking interior and decor to match. The room was really nice, and big, with a balcony (you must ask for a balcony room), and there is buffet breakfast every morning which is actually very good!! There is fresh fruit, cereals, milk, nesquik, tea, coffee, scrambled eggs, fresh rolls, ham, cheese, sausages, yoghurts and juice. A great way to start the day!! We had no problem with noises, and the cleaners were very trustworthy and did very good jobs on the room daily. The staff were all helpful and very kind. Fantastic!!!

Positiv:: Wir waren für 3 Tage dort. Die Zimmer waren in einem guten Zustand, das einzig negative war, dass es etwas hellhörig war. War aber nicht weiter schlimm, da es recht ruhig im hotel war.
Frühstück ist okay, aber man darf nicht zu viel erwarten.. Es gibt süßes, Obst, Joghurt, allerdings nur eine Käsesorte und einen Schinken.
Die Lage ist super, man ist direkt in der Stadt und in 5 min am Meer! :)

Staff are wonderful, very friendly, professional and always anxious to help. The hotel has a nice restaurant with a set menu (changes daily) of a three course meal with either a fish or meat dish for seven and a half euros. They also have a great (and cheap) coffee shop with some of the best cakes we could find. We stayed four nights and wished it had been more. Faro is a lovely little town where you can spend quite a few days looking around and just taking it easy. We met people who have been coming back to this hotel for years and we can understand why.

Positiv:: Die Lage in Herzen von Faro ist super. Man ist direkt in der Fußgängerzone mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants. Bis zur Marina sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Hotel bot außerdem ein sehr großzügiges Frühstücksbuffet.

Positiv:: The Residencial Afonso lll was a great place for us to stay as we were flying out of Faro at 6 am. It is a 2 min walk from the train station and seemed to be in a good location. Staff was fantastic and very eager to assist with directions, information etc. Rooms were small but comfortable. A very nice place, for the budget traveller.
