The car wasn’t serviced before I picked it up. Halfway through our long road trip the car needed an oil change. The windshield wipers didn’t work. The windshield wiper fluid was empty. And it seemed to need new tires. The car was clean and we did get an upgrade at no additional charge but I was disappointed thinking we wouldn’t make it back home with all the issues we had.Bewertet am 27. März 2023

The car was NOT clean. The attendant told me it had just been dropped off and did I want the dirty seat wiped down...yes, please 🙄 A few minutes after leaving the pickup, the deodorizer wore off and the car smelled like an old shoe. We had a van with 50K miles on it and the brakes were really bad- grinding and shaking the steering wheel. We contacted Hertz and all they said was "we will check it". Not I am sorry about that, what can we do to make it better. Putting a car on the road with bad brakes is irresponsible- especially with a rental, you are putting someone else's life in danger.Bewertet am 13. Apr. 2022
