I went to the counter but didn't finish the booking since the agent required that I produce all of my insurance papers not just my insurance card...which I had. This is the typical proof of insurance. They had some questionable reason for this requirement but it was obvious that it was just a ploy to force me to purchase their expensive insurance. Negativ:We showed up for our reservation only to be greeted by a sign at the counter saying “ no cars available “. We had to scramble and rent from another company at twice the price. Positiv:Nothing. They were not present - only a sign saying they were out of cars.Negativ:No one was present even though we had a car reserved. There was only a hand-written sign saying they were out of cars. We were stuck without a car and no transportation. It was a nightmare. We could not get in touch with Payless by phone and we were put on a callback list with Kayak because their hold times were over an hour. We were totally stuck with no recourse.Bewertet am 20. Negativ:The Payless car rental has closed at BWI. I received a confirmation email from kayak just a few hours before I arrived at BWI to find it closed. Then when I called Kayak customer service I couldn’t get through.
