Avis gave me a car that turned out to have a massive oil leak and told me to keep driving it even though there was a check oil level alarm going off. The engine finally blew up and I was stranded for 3 hours on the side of the freeway while I tried to get roadside assistance. Steve was great! I had a nightmare-ish experience with the people at the airport Avis, so I’m so glad I got to experience the customer service given by Steve. He was attentive, kind, and conversational. He was also so speedy in getting our paperwork done and keys in our hand, and dropoff was just as easy. I wanted a car at the airport. The reservation I made was for an Avis office away from the airport. Totally useless to me so I had to pay 4 times the amount to rent a car at the Avis office at the airport. Check your addresses is my lesson.Bewertet am 17. Okt. 2022

I rented a Kia Rio for one day, when I went to the office the guy whi attended me was everything but polite, he made a few changes to the order, I never got proper explanations and he charged my order without confirming the final amount, I ended up with a Tacoma Toyota that I did not ask for and with a charge more than the double I reserved, so seems like using Kayak was not useful, they charged and gave me whatever they wanted.
