Never again will I rent through kayak/rentalcars.com. I prepaid for my booking. Then, Dollar added a bunch more fees after the fact. Really defeats the purpose of searching and comparing in the beginning. Never again.Bewertet am 8. Aug. 2023

The return location is not very easy to get to and when you arrive at the location there is not good signage as to instruct you where to go and what to do when you drop off the car. There’s an Avis sign but not a Dollar sign. No instructions as to where the office is located in the building.Bewertet am 19. Mai 2023

I was given a smokers car. I should have taken it back but I didn't. At the end of the trip the fellow that checked me in dropped the price by $100 to compensate for the smell of the car.Bewertet am 23. Apr. 2022

Check in and dropoff were great and car was fine. My only complaint is that it was never made clear nor explained to me that there would be a $500 hold placed on my debit card on top of the price of the rental. Easy transport via shuttle to Dollar office. We walked right up to the desk. It seemed to take Forever but car rental Places always do. We got the car and realized that the numbers didn’t match the paperwork. Turns out the wrong tag was on the right car. That took awhile to straighten out but they did. Coke Machine was broken without a sign stating that but one of the ladies gave us 4 bottles of water which we really appreciated.Bewertet am 19. Sept. 2021

Cost was insanely expensive, but all rent a cars are that way right now. Cars was a bit old too. Pick up in Hartford took forever, one worker checking in everyone for Dollar, Thrifty and Hertz. She was great, but it took a long time because she was by herself. Drop off in Portland was a mess. No one to check in cars. Still don’t have a receipt more than 24 hours after drop off.Bewertet am 24. Juli 2021

Positiv:Quick shuttle from airport.Negativ:Dollar and Hertz were combined which was confusing. Drop-off was time consuming as there was a line to drop-off the car and then only 1 shuttle to the airport so many people had to wait for multiple shuttle tripsBewertet am 6. Juli 2021
