Positiv:: 1st they are SO ACCOMODATING. Thanks to guest services, concierge DENNIS :-0 and the crew plus the front door attendants, managers, housekeeping are all amazing. Guest Service Rep came to greet us and had the goats milk avail for my daughter. In the USA we can only purchase at select store and did not realize it was more common to have in Dublin. We have made Dublin-the Shelbourne as our #1 headquarters. The quality of our stay, the fact they have vetted services for a nanny, great food, amazing polite service from all departments simply speaks volumes. Mr. Hanley and his staff at this fine establishment continue to amaze me. I really appreciate the peace of mind they bring to me and my little 1 and 2 year old children each visit. We surely feel special and love the amazing spacious rooms. THANK YOU ALL!! See you again next year.

Positiv:: As a fairly frequent traveler, this was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Spotless, classy, the staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel inside. My room was also one of the quietest I've experienced. Just an all around great hotel.

Positiv:: The Gibson well placed for access to the 3 arena and the city is just a short walk (20min) or a tram ride away. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are welcoming and helpful. We arrived mid morning and they were able to give us rooms we’ll ahead of check in time.

Positiv:: Wir waren in einem der georgischen Süßigkeiten, die leider keinen Aufzug hatten, aber der Concierge war unglaublich, von der Gepäckausgabe bis zum Valeting des Autos bis hin zum Anruf mit einem Taxi für uns, um die Stadt zu genießen. Schönes Zimmer, sehr komfortables Bett und riesiges Bad.

Positiv:: Die Lage war großartig - in der Nähe von Temple Bar, Trinity College und vielen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich - wir haben unser Zimmer ohne Probleme ertüchtigt, als wir unsere Enttäuschung über unser "Superior-Zimmer" zum Ausdruck brachten. Das Frühstücksbüfett war abwechslungsreich und reichlich und das einzige Abendessen, das wir dort hatten, war sehr gut.

Positiv:: We enjoyed our two night stay here so much we actually came back for a third night. This hotel is ideally located for touring around Dublin. We took a bus from the airport straight to the hotel, the tour bus lines leave from ten yards down the sidewalk and taxis line up right across the street. You are right across from the historic post office and the temple bar district is a 6 euro taxi ride away. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. If we go back to Dublin we would definitely stay here again.

Positiv:: Dieses Hotel liegt mitten im Viertel Temple Bar, das für sein tolles Nachtleben bekannt ist. Aber es liegt auch in der Nähe vieler anderer "MUSSÄNGE" in Dublin, wie Trinity College und Killmainham Jail. Das Bussystem macht das Reisen nach Dublin sehr einfach und das Hotel war einfach zu finden. Sehr modern und sauber, es bietet ein sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal!

Positiv:: Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten können bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden und auch zur Tara Station ist es nicht weit, falls man aus der Stadt heraus möchte. Für die super Lage nimmt man dann auch den Preis in Kauf. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Es gibt im Zimmer einen Wasserkocher und Instantkaffee, sowie Tee, was ich sehr praktisch fand.

Wir sind beim Einchecken gefragt worden, ob wir die Zimmer gern vorne raus (zweispurige Straße) oder nach hinten (Innenhof) haben möchten. Wir haben uns für den Innenhof entschieden. War sehr gut, vom Straßenlärm haben wir nichts mitbekommen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren auch sehr freundlich.

Wenn Sie in der Jugendherberge essen und viel Zeit dort verbringen möchten, ist es ein schöner Ort dafür, obwohl es zu teuer ist, wenn auch in den Hostels (sogar in Dublin). Definitiv eine Party-Jugendherberge, aber ich war einfach überrascht, wie teuer es ist.

Positiv:: Fantastisches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. 52 € für zwei Personen in einem makellos sauberen Doppelzimmer mit Bad. Direkt in Smithfield, nur wenige Schritte von großartigen Restaurants, Kinos, Pubs, Cafés und Live Irish Music entfernt. Direkt über den Jameson Brewery Tasting Rooms. Wäscherei, Pub, Café und Gepäckaufbewahrung. Zimmer und Bad waren makellos sauber, warm und ruhig. Fühlte sich auch sehr sicher an.

Positiv:: Die Jugendherberge war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es gab eine Bar und ein Café, was es sehr leicht machte, Speisen und Getränke zu finden. Das Essen war preiswert. Ich werde wieder im Generator übernachten, in Dublin oder anderswo.

Positiv:: Ich bekam ein Upgrade auf ein komplettes weibliches Ensuite-Zimmer, das fantastisch, hell und groß war. Alle Badezimmer im ganzen Gebäude waren sauber von dem, was ich gesehen habe, fantastische Bar, freundliches Personal, liebte meinen Aufenthalt! Jedes Bett war mit einem riesigen verschließbaren Aufbewahrungskasten ausgestattet, wenn man nicht über ein eigenes Schloss verfügte, kostete es 5 Euro an der Rezeption.

Positiv:: Based on the price point we got it at, it was a great stay. We stayed in a 6 bed unit which was surprisingly comfortable. The hotel bar was good, and great atmosphere while the Eurocup was on. Overall the place was always clean, lots of staff around which was nice. The demographic was crazy... People of all ages which was fantastic! It couldn't be closer to Jameson. Great bars and restaurants around it as well. It's about a 15 minute walk to temple bar area. 10 minute walk to Guinness.

Positiv:: The facilities are modern and relatively clean. Rooms are well maintained and mattresses are pretty comfortable. The bar area is nice and live music is a plus. Building and rooms are also secure. Swipe cards are required to go anywhere and there’s security at the door.

Positiv:: Easy to feel included and apart of something as a solo traveller. The staff and environment in general make the hostel have a home like feel. Convenient plugs and lights with every bed. Good food at breakfast and for lunch/dinner. Close enough to walk to city center, temple bar area etc but far enough that you feel safe because you don't have to deal with drunk strangers, and the loud streets of the city centre.

You can ask for suggestions on places to go and things see and to do and they give out detailed descriptions on what you should expect to experience at each destination! The Night Staff was equally wonderful! To my surprise the night guards/security we're very friendly and helpful and happy to give good directions to near by places. The bartenders are cheerful, funny and have great suggestions for local restaurants and nightlife activities. The reception team is outstanding! They are warm and welcoming and available 24/7! They can help you with any delemas or concerns may come up during your stay. On my next trip to Dublin I will stay at the generator and the staff has a HUGE part to play in desire to book a room with the generator again!

Wir parkten auf Dem Parkplatz Der Fleet Street, wie sie es rieten, und es gab einen reduzierten (aber immer noch teuren) Preis für das Parken unseres Autos. Einfach zu finden, wunderbares Personal. Das "was mir nicht gefiel" ist mehr für zusätzliche Informationen. Ich würde dieses Hotel 100 % empfehlen und wenn überhaupt wieder in Dublin übernachten! Perfekte Lage!!!!

Positiv:: Das Hotel befindet sich in der Dame Street, direkt vor dem Haupteingang des Trinity College und am Rande des Temple Bar District. Da wir eine Woche hier waren, haben wir uns entschieden, die Zimmermädchen nicht jeden Tag eintreffen zu lassen. Das Reinigungspersonal ließ Pakete mit Handtüchern, Shampoo und toilettenpapier vor unserer Tür, um das Zimmer wieder aufzufüllen.

Positiv:: Die ausgesprochene perfekte Lage des Hotels ist ideal für einen Städtetrip. Man kommt zu Fuß überall hin. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auch das hoteleigene Pub mit täglicher Lifemusik ist sehr angenehm. Allzu lärmempfindlich dar man nicht sein - da bis ca 2/30 in der Früh Musik spielt. Da wir aber selber gerne lange fortgehen - hat uns das nicht wirklich gestört.
