They didn't have a car although I made a reservation. And I rent a Cheverlet Bolt which can be charged up to 58%. It won't be charged more than that. I had a difficult time to travel long distance.Bewertet am 23. Juli 2023

We inadvertently booked the downtown Albany location but intended to book at the Albany airport. This may not have been completely clear during the options available during booking. We understand and agreed upon the non changeable and non refundable booking policy but based on our senior status with some confusion it would have been nice if Hertz KAYAK to provide us some wiggle room to change the pickup and / or return location even if it meant a slight increase in fees.Bewertet am 27. They claim cancellation can be done within 24 hours. They don’t add the caveat that “they’re closed” when you call to cancel. There was no way to cancel on line. Beware. It’s a $50 cancel cost.Bewertet am 7. Aug. 2022

They let me make an online reservation for our vacation, then the day of the pick up they call and said there was no vehicles available besides a 7 passenger van with a price tag of almost double what we were going to pay. This is horrible business. I understand mistakes happen but they should have given us a discount on the van so we had a vehicle.Bewertet am 1. Juli 2022

pick-up and drop-off were a breeze. My only complaint is the passenger side headrest had a bunch of long gray and white hairs sticking out of it. I'm sure belonging to the people who rented the car before I did. Fortunately, I didn't have any passengers with me, so it was only an eyesore.Bewertet am 13. Juni 2022

We messed up on the date Hertz was able to revise their system yet this led to a low grade economy car not ideal for a 4-5 hour trip. Why are we still driving in vehicles that only get 21.5 mpg? That’s ridiculous at these prices.Bewertet am 25. Mai 2022

I arrived at closing time and the employees weren't able to give me a car. I understand they wouldn't give me a car because they were closed, but my frustration is that they looked up my order and told me that I wasn't billed for anything.
