Due to the language barrier and it was a little confusing. I booked one thing on the webside but when we got the airport realized the mileage was not included. So the good deal we had not so good. So had to change plans. I think I endend paying the insurance twice. I don't typically do insurance but since it was in another country I didn't want any issues. Overall C+ experience. Staff is friendly. Procedures are inefficient and difficult, probably more of an airport thing. If you don’t put the exact time you’re picking the car up - if you’re late, you won’t have a car. If you are early, you will wait until the exact time. Even when there are 10 cars available. Somehow the booking was for 3pm but we arrived at 7pm and they had given our car to someone else. We had to wait for another car. Getting the car took 90 minutes. We also had to pay for mileage, which came to about the same price as the rental. Seems like bait and switch. At least the car was clean and the return was fast and easy.Bewertet am 26. Feb. 2023

We arrived on an overnight flight like many international travelers. There was no one staffing the counter. We found out later that there was only one person working, and he was checking people in, filling gas in cars, and walking people to the cars. If took over an hour to get our car even though we were second in line. Conversely, the return was easy. Pick up and drop off easy peasy. No lines and we were in our rental in no time after arriving Tahiti after 9 pm. Wish they didn't charge separately for miles, makes for an expensive rental. Good thing Tahiti isn't that big :)Bewertet am 27. Juni 2022

Very efficient process. The Hertz counter person was very helpful. Her English was excellent, and she had great suggestions. The car (a Renault 108) was small and fuel efficient. Not the most powerful engine, but adequate. I was glad to be driving something that small around Papeete. We didn't realize until later that the back seat folds down otherwise carrying 2 large suitcases might have been a problem. All in all, a great value and a very plesant experience.Bewertet am 10. Hertz did not have my Kayak reservation. Everything with Hertz was fine- it was Kayak that didn’t work. I did not have a car waiting for me and had to rebook. Rather pointless to use Kayak.Bewertet am 18. Feb. 2022
