Dank der ausgezeichneten Lage (Downtown Portland) ist dieses Motel zu Fuß gerade mal 5 Minuten entfernt von: The Dreamer und Portland State University. Ebenfalls nur 15 Minuten entfernt: Pioneer Courthouse Square und Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
my experiencePositiv: I liked the location which is really good one (near the street car, metro and PSU)Negativ: The cleaning of the rooms isn't up to standards as there are many times where not fully cleaned due staff availability. Also the bed cover wasn't truly clean!!
Excellent location Positiv: It's right in front of the MAX light train and PSU. Perfect location to explore the city. Overall quiet and comfortable environment, friendly staff at front desk. Very comfortable bed. Quick check in and check out.Negativ: One day room service was skipped (Saturday). There were no trashcans in the room and the counter space in the bathroom was very limited.
Clean with a Great PricePositiv: The price was excellent and the room was clean.Negativ: The floor wasn't level and there was no trash can in the room or bathroom.
Great value in a prime locationPositiv: It is right next to two streetcar lines. Easy walking distance to everything. Plus Portland is great!Negativ: The hallways had a musty odor.
The "dorm" or hostel area is only for 30 and underPositiv: Room was desentNegativ: i was not aware that the dormitory area is for 30 and under. I do not think that's fair. This crucial bit of information was not availiable online unless you lol for it. So I was forced to get a more expensive hotel.
Positiv: Location was walking distance from Portland Art Museum, Powell's and Keller Auditorium. Negativ: Bed was uncomfortable the first night.
Positiv: The location is great, very close to some great food trucks. Also one of the easiest for transit since the green line ends right here. Close to the University. Microwave and fridge included. Great heating/ A.C. unit. Very nice staff. Negativ: You get what you pay for! Stains in the carpet, nightstands blocked outlets and switches (easy enough to move, but still), very thin walls so able to hear (and feel!) the streetcars movements and other guests. Biggest downside was that the room key was similar to USB stick, so easy to lose (I did) and had to pay $5 to replace it. Reasonable enough fee but had it been a traditional 'credit card' style it would have gone in my wallet and not been lost.
